Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park is incredible! The cable car ride offers stunning views, leading to the famous Stairway to Heaven with its 999 steps. The trek is challenging but rewarding, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. A must-visit for adventure seekers!
It's easy to book a slot with trip.com. I was worried I couldn't get a slot due to last minute booking but with trip.com I was able to get a morning slot even when I just book the evening before. Tianmen mountain was amazing, climbed the 999 steps and took a never ending escalator. Unfortunately, on the day of my visit it was raining, cold and windy. Nonetheless, I came prepared with a raincoat.

Amazing! I loved every second of the visit. The tour package you buy with the ticket is well-thought-out to take the shuttle buses and to see the main spots in the park in a logical flow.
Awesome park! It's easy to get lost even with the maps and signs in there but you'll always find the exit again and that's the most important thing. I think going for 3 days is the perfect amount of time, I felt like I didn't need the 4th day there. It's definitely worth its money

Fenjing Mountain is exceptionally beautiful. It drizzled a bit when I went, but the rain had cleared by the afternoon, leaving some fog. Make sure to check the weather forecast carefully. The rain and fog added another layer of charm, though. The rocks there are quite unique, and it would be even more beautiful with better weather. The experience is very immersive, like a mountain climb. You can choose to hike or take the cable car. If you're not physically fit, definitely take the cable car. I hiked up, and it was quite tiring. The scenic area is very large, with many staff members present, as the slope is quite steep.
The stay was excellent. Xiao Deng and Xiao Tang provided great service, the room was comfortable, and I slept soundly. It's also close to the high-speed rail station, making transportation convenient. The food was also delicious. I'll definitely come back next time.

A must visit on your Guizhou bucket list. We visited in December which is off season so was less crowded and so much more enjoyable. I even took photos in traditional attire. Friendly people and so convenient bus travel within the location. Night view is the most amazing.
Xiao Mo, the housekeeper, was very helpful and picked us up directly at the entrance of the scenic area. Since we had booked a travel photography session in advance, she thoughtfully took us to the shop in case we couldn't find our way. The environment was quite nice, just the style I liked. In the evening, the ladies around the bonfire were very enthusiastic in helping me take photos, which touched me deeply. I would definitely extend my stay next time I have the chance!

Orange Isle holds unique historical and cultural significance, making it a must-visit in Changsha. As for the river cruise at night, it's pretty much the same everywhere, and the ticket prices are similar. If you haven't experienced it elsewhere before, you can give it a try. The Xiangjiang River cruise lasts about 40-50 minutes and includes a ticket to the Orange Isle mini-train, making it relatively good value for money.
My first stop in Changsha was Orange Isle, where a great man once wrote the famous poem "Qinyuanchun: Snow," a journey of personal growth. Feeling the vastness of the Xiang River and the fragrance of the orange groves, I felt as if I were in a flowing ink painting.

I didn't get to explore properly when I brought my child before, but this time I came alone during the day and had a good time. It was quite nice; the panoramic views from the railing were breathtaking. For just over ten yuan, it's definitely worth recommending.

Amazing architecture. With the night lights, spectacular view. Photo was taken opposite the street. Tip: Don’t need to enter the area, needs entrance ticket, mainly stalls selling merchandise which you can get else where.
It's a nice building but what makes it special is the atmosphere and the shows, search for the official programme of the different little performance and wait to see it all, they are worth the money.

This mega-project is worth seeing, but you must spend 35 yuan to take a tour bus from the visitor center to get a full tour. Don't believe the lies of touts offering to take you to see the dam.
The cruise offered stunning views of the high gorges and tranquil lake, perfect for taking photos. The ship was clean and tidy, and the service was warm and attentive. They even provided complimentary green tea and snacks. It was a very satisfying trip.
