My trip to the Qingdao Beer Museum deserves special praise for our guide, number 2003! Her professional expertise was solid, and she eloquently recounted the century-long history of Qingdao Beer since 1903, from the history of the old factory buildings and vintage brewing equipment to the entire beer brewing process—the content was rich and engaging. Her explanations were humorous and entertaining, and she proactively answered all our questions, ensuring every member of our group received thorough attention. What started as a casual stroll turned into a much richer understanding of the old factory's history and the culture of Qingdao Beer after the guided tour. The entire experience was significantly enhanced, making it a truly worthwhile trip to Qingdao. A huge thumbs up to the guide!
The unpasteurized beer wasn't really to my taste, but the fruit beer was quite good. Learning about beer brewing processes and history is helpful. The souvenir shop was interesting and would be a good place to buy some souvenirs.

The polar oceanarium has many attractions, including a petting zoo and a wide variety of marine life. My daughter and I came together, and she had a great time. If we have the chance, we'd love to come again. I'm so glad to have had this trip.
Getting an annual pass is a great deal and a perfect place to take the kids. Outside of summer holidays, there's four hours of parking, so you can stroll around with your child, and if they get tired, find a performance to sit down, rest, and grab a bite to eat.

The room is beautiful, clean, refreshing, tidy, comfortable, and well-ventilated.
A trip to Donggang, Dalian, wouldn't be complete without experiencing Venice Water City! The entire area recreates European style, with over 200 castles scattered throughout, featuring Gothic spires, Baroque reliefs, and vintage clock towers paired with various arched bridges – every detail is meticulously crafted. Strolling along the canals, the beige walls adorned with exquisite carvings offer a picturesque view at every turn, as if you've stepped into a European town. The daytime atmosphere is refreshing and soothing, but as evening falls and the lights illuminate the buildings, their reflections shimmering on the water and canals, creating a captivating ambiance perfect for photos. A gondola ride is highly recommended – the soul of the water city! The long, elegant gondolas glide gently across the water, the gondoliers rowing with long poles, the boats slowly gliding beneath the stone bridges. Sitting on the boat, you can gaze at the buildings on both banks, admiring the castles and their reflections up close. A gentle breeze ripples the water, offering a completely different perspective than walking on the shore. Slowly immerse yourself in the romantic waterways, feeling the tranquility of a boat adrift in a painting. A gondola ride at dusk is the best way to experience this. We chose the Atour S Hotel next door for our stay, which was incredibly convenient, just walking distance from the water city. The stay was excellent; the room was clean and comfortable, and the service was attentive. It was convenient to explore the water city without having to travel back and forth; we could simply return to the hotel to rest after a long day. The area offers free admission, and the riverside walkways and plazas are perfect for strolling. It's suitable for couples or families. With its grand and elegant European-style architecture and the unique romantic atmosphere of gondola rides, this is a must-visit in Dalian's Donggang area – definitely worth a special trip!

I went during the National Day holiday this year, and there were definitely more activities and more people than when I went in winter. It wasn't as deserted as I expected. I'll definitely go when it's more crowded next time, it'll be so lively! Haha.
The park is huge; my feet ached after a day of walking around. The bird show at the aviary was great; the parrots seemed so intelligent! The coral reef exhibit was incredibly crowded, so I didn't get to see many things properly—just a quick glance. The park has a cable car, a swing across the sea, and a speedboat stunt show. It was particularly windy in Dalian, but I managed to get free admission to two of the parks using the Northeast Super Discount promotion, which was quite satisfying. Visiting all five parks at once would require a full day. That's the nature of travel—tiring but enjoyable. The scenery was beautiful, and I'm grateful for the Northeast Super Discount promotion, which allowed me to visit the park even though I hadn't originally planned to.

Qingdao Underwater World is well worth a visit. In addition to the marine life inside, the scenery of the seaside outside the aquarium is also very beautiful. The cruise ship runs every hour, starting at 10 am. If you take your time, the whole tour can take up most of the day.
Qingdao Underwater World, located on the shore of Huiquan Bay, adjacent to Luxun Park and the First Bathing Beach, is a landmark scenic spot on Qingdao's golden coastline. Expanded from the century-old Qingdao Aquarium, it boasts six main exhibition halls, including the Jellyfish Palace, Seal Hall, and Whale Hall, as well as an 82.6-meter-long underwater tunnel. Visitors can not only observe a rich variety of marine life but also experience unique shows such as "Human-Shark Dance" and "Mermaid Shows," making it an excellent destination combining sightseeing and science education.

📍Lianhuashan Viewing Platform|259.6m above sea level "Love Me Forever" "Climb to the highest point in Dalian and enjoy a 360° panoramic view of the city and its mountains 🌊 The Xinghai Bay Bridge stretches across the sea, with city buildings and the blue sea in the same frame. The mountain breeze blows, leaving all your worries behind in this vast seascape."
Dalian Forest Zoo is a very simple tourist destination, but recently the feeding method in the free-range area has been updated to include feeding from a vehicle. The lions come running to eat as soon as the driver honks the horn, giving it a feeling of being treated like handouts.

The show was quite entertaining, but overall it was geared towards young children, making it more suitable for elementary school students and younger. Adults might find it a bit boring. The overall tour flow was quite good, as it's a one-way street and you can see everything, but the variety of animals wasn't that extensive, with many overlapping species. The animals in the Galaxy Pavilion and the Polar Pavilion were similar, just with different decor.
It was so much fun! The indoor area had a really interesting theme. My favorite part was the baby seals; they were so curious about humans. To them, the people coming and going were like toys on display.

It's a zoo that requires hiking, which can be tiring for older people, although there is a magic carpet (I saw three sections, each with a separate fee). The sightseeing bus is located at Shen Diao Mountain; if you take it, you'll go directly to the panda enclosure, but you won't see two-thirds of the pandas. The animals here are quite active; the eagles drool while eating, there are performing gorillas, brown bears that reach out for food and spin around, and rabbits and guinea pigs lining up to leave... You'd need to spend a whole day here, but it's definitely worth a visit.
This place is really great; the experience is definitely different from other zoos. The park is huge! I'd actually recommend skipping the predator enclosure, though, as it takes too much time and you'll be exhausted afterward. You won't have the energy to explore other attractions then. Overall, the park is very unique and worth a visit.

The Yellow River Estuary Scenic Area is a unique wetland natural area where you can experience the magnificent sight of the Mother River flowing into the Bohai Sea. The vast wetlands stretch as far as the eye can see, with reeds swaying in the wind. In autumn, the salt flats and alkali grasses create a fiery red "carpet," showcasing the pristine natural beauty of the mudflats. It's also a paradise for migratory birds, often seen skimming across the water, a vibrant scene. A boat trip offers the chance to witness the spectacular meeting of the Yellow and Blue Rivers – a breathtaking sight as the turbid waters of the Yellow River meet the azure sea. However, this phenomenon is affected by tides and weather, and may not be witnessed every time. The scenic area is expansive, primarily accessible by sightseeing bus. It's not overly commercialized, making it ideal for quiet contemplation, appreciating the grandeur of the river's confluence with the sea, and experiencing the power of nature's transformation.
This trip to the Yellow River estuary by boat allowed me to see the dividing line between the two rivers. It was definitely worth a visit. The scenic area was beautiful, the shuttle buses were clean and tidy, and parking was free. I highly recommend it!
