Tianmen Mountain is a must-see in Zhangjiajie! The 999-step climb to Heaven’s Gate is tough but totally worth it for the view. If you prefer, you can take the escalator almost to the top. The mountain road with 99 curves is scenic but winding—better take the cable car for amazing views. Don’t miss the glass walkways and cliffside paths, and bring warm clothes since it’s colder up there. A perfect mix of nature, thrill, and great infrastructure!
The scenery at Tianmen Mountain is undoubtedly breathtaking, but I injured my back the day before and wanted to minimize walking, so I bought the most expensive package ticket. However, the cable car at the summit is currently under maintenance. Originally, you could take the cable car directly down from the top, but now you have to walk or take the escalator down to the main square to catch a bus. The ticket price should be discounted accordingly.

Fanjingshan truly exceeded my expectations! The air was fresh, the sea of clouds was ever-changing, and every step was a picturesque scene. Taking the cable car up saved a lot of energy, and we could enjoy the beautiful scenery of the primeval forest along the way. The mushroom-shaped rock formation was unique and made for great photos. Although the Red Cloud Golden Summit and the Old Golden Summit were temporarily closed, seeing the sea of clouds and mountain views from the mushroom rock made all the hard work worthwhile. The mountain trails were well-maintained and clearly marked. We happened to arrive during a porridge distribution at the temple, and the porridge warmed us up nicely. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend coming to experience the magnificence and tranquility of Fanjingshan.

The stilted houses in Xijiang Miao Village are magnificent, layer upon layer, built against the mountain. As night falls and the lights come on, they present a different kind of brilliant night view than during the day!
I absolutely loved the Miao Village with its thousand households! As dusk fell, lights illuminated every house, stretching from the foot of the mountain to the summit like a golden dragon coiled in the valley. The breathtaking beauty was indescribable. Walking along the cobblestone paths, listening to the distant Miao folk songs, and occasionally seeing Miao girls in their traditional costumes, I felt instantly immersed in this ancient and mysterious village. In the evening, I found a guesthouse near a viewpoint. Opening the window revealed a sky ablaze with lights; enjoying a few drinks and conversation was simply a wonderful experience.

I arrived early, but the ticket inspector helped me change my ticket to an earlier departure if there were available seats. The guesthouse has a good location, situated along the river with nice surrounding scenery. Restaurants are decent, though a short walk away. Parking is limited; you have to go around to the back parking lot, which is free. The owner's service was good. Overall, I was satisfied.
This was my first time visiting Guilin, and I found it to be truly beautiful. It's not far from other attractions, there are plenty of good restaurants nearby, and the photos I took there turned out beautifully. Highly recommended!

Not far from Dongxi Lane, there are dedicated guided tours inside the school. Rating it 5A is a bit of an exaggeration. The tour guides seemed to be pushing sales, constantly trying to sell things. It felt too commercial.
Jingjiang Prince City perfectly blends Guilin's natural beauty with its rich cultural heritage, allowing every visitor to appreciate the stunning scenery while deeply experiencing the profoundness of Chinese culture. Here, nature and humanity harmonize, history and modernity coexist—a place not to be missed. What surprised me most was the Imperial Examination Hall, the site of the ancient imperial examinations. Standing inside, I could almost see the scholars diligently writing their essays. It's especially suitable for taking photos in Hanfu (traditional Han clothing), creating a truly immersive atmosphere.

There are terraced fields, and the scenery looks quite nice. Those who haven't been can check it out, but the locals aren't great; parking fees are outrageous and severely damage the image of ethnic minorities, especially the Yao people!
This time of year isn't ideal. The wheat harvest is over, but it hasn't snowed yet. Even so, the view of the terraced fields from the mountaintop is still spectacular. There are paths leading down into the terraces, and being surrounded by them is a wonderful experience. However, after seeing so many terraced fields, I feel there's not much difference between Ping'an Village and Jinkeng Village. If you're short on time, just choose one. The road to Ping'an Village is incredibly winding, so be prepared.
Next, I have to criticize the fact that while the 80 yuan entrance fee allows you to drive into the mountain, Ping'an Village also charges for parking, which is strange. The mountaintop at Jinkeng Village is full of guesthouses and restaurants, and the roadside parking lots are all occupied by various businesses. The signage is unclear, and it's confusing where to park, which is a very unpleasant experience.
Overall, for the scenery alone, it's still worth a visit.

Although it was a rainy day, the Li River cruise was shrouded in mist, which created a unique, hazy beauty. The tour guide's explanations of the sights were satisfactory. Cabin service was also quite proactive, with prompt water refills and cleaning. The restrooms had a rather strong odor, probably due to the large number of guests.
The cruise was great! The scenery is really breathtaking. There are a lot ferries that are leaving at the same time so it gets a bit crowded. Also the cruise is more like 5 hours. But other than that it was perfect!

It's a nice building but what makes it special is the atmosphere and the shows, search for the official programme of the different little performance and wait to see it all, they are worth the money.
Absolutely worth a visit, we entered at 4 pm and waited until six for the shops to open and the lights to go on. Recommended to stay after 6 pm to see the show and performances. During the day all the shops are closed, however you can still go around the area and take pictures.
