Wuyishan is truly beautiful, especially the view of the misty clouds in the morning – it's absolutely breathtaking! I highly recommend the bamboo rafting; it was so relaxing for someone like me who prefers a leisurely trip.
Booking tickets here is very convenient. Wuyishan is definitely worth visiting. There's no entrance fee during the off-season, but the shuttle bus ticket is a bit expensive on the first day. I guess it's to encourage people to stay for several days. The transportation is quite convenient. The bamboo rafting trip offers beautiful scenery on both banks.

This was my first time visiting Wugong Mountain. The scenery along the way was beautiful, with dense forests in the first section and alpine meadows in the second. Although it was tiring to climb all the way to the Golden Summit, it was well worth the trip.
Wugong Mountain is definitely a scenic spot worth visiting. Even in winter, it was truly beautiful. I read many travel guides, and no one mentioned how tiring the hike was. It took me a little over three hours to hike from Jinxin Bridge to the top, which was quite exhausting. I stayed overnight on the mountain. It was very windy and extremely cold, but I did see both the sunset and sunrise.

The photos turned out really well; we went in the afternoon and it was great. It felt like stepping into Jurassic World; the Danxia landforms were spectacular. It was fun to take kids there, and the mountains weren't too high, making it perfect for family trips.
Absolutely beautiful! You could easily spend a whole day there if you have plenty of time. We spent most of the day there, and the scenery exceeded our expectations. It has the features of the Grand Canyon in the United States, as well as unique Danxia landforms. There are also many facilities, and the greenery is particularly beautiful. When we first got off the bus, we thought we were in Palm City, USA. The lawns were also very nice, and the water was clear. Highly recommended!

I went in November; the weather was great, the scenery was beautiful, and I took some great photos. I don't know if I missed some parts, or if the scenic area is just not very big, but it felt like I was just going around in circles on a few hilltops. The ticket price seemed inflated; a 50% discount would be more reasonable.
All the scenic spots in Chenzhou are great, with beautiful natural scenery and delicious Hunan cuisine. The Dongjiang fish, braised chicken, and blood duck are all excellent. Thanks to A-Jie from Dongya Apartment for helping us plan our itinerary and booking discounted tickets to the scenic spots, saving us both time and money. We'll definitely stay at Dongya Apartment again next time we're in Chenzhou!

The scenery is beautiful, and you can also see local stage plays. It's a great place for taking photos. The only downside is that the Tulou is too commercialized. There are stalls and booths everywhere inside, and you have to pay extra to go upstairs to visit.
Tulou (earthen buildings) are in Fujian, specifically in Zhangzhou and Nanjing. Based on this knowledge, I gradually determined my destinations for visiting Tulou. I chose Yunshuiyao because it's close to Tianluokeng, and there are local day tours available, allowing me to fulfill all my expectations for Tulou in a single day. This choice proved extremely correct; one day is sufficient. Don't stay overnight, because the highlights and all your expectations for Tulou are fully realized upon seeing the first building. After that, it becomes lackluster. I know there are other Tulou clusters besides those in Nanjing, such as the Yongding Tulou cluster, but regardless of the location, one or two sites a day is enough.
Although many people say Yunshuiyao is newly built and man-made, it's just a name. The area under the jurisdiction of the Yunshuiyao Scenic Area is a real natural village with actual residents. We walked 2 kilometers from the north parking lot to the south parking lot, and apart from the designated attractions, everything we saw and felt was the daily life of the local villagers: unidentified vegetables drying on the walls, a small village temple with thriving incense, and various crops and orchards along the way. This alone proves it's not fake! Besides visiting the Tulou (earthen buildings) and experiencing the local customs, Yunshuiyao also has the awareness of a scenic area. The large banyan tree and waterwheel in the south-central part is the core area of Yunshuiyao, the most scenic spot. There are rows of commercial streets, shops, and people. While not picturesque, it's acceptable, and I was willing to take a few photos: the primitive stone bridge, the super-large banyan tree I'm used to seeing in Fuzhou, and the clean, clear stream. Water and folk songs are all there; it seems only the clouds were missing that day… The stalls in Yunshuiyao are quite affordable, with prices all under 10 yuan. The red bananas, mini pineapples, and kiwano with honey were all pretty good. I finally got to eat some delicious kiwano! So that's how you eat it! No wonder mine tasted like cucumbers…

Nanjing Tulou, a World Cultural Heritage site and a gem of traditional Chinese architecture, comprises over 1,300 buildings.
Architecturally, Nanjing Tulou are unique in shape, adhering to the "round sky and square earth" concept, and come in various forms including round, square, and mansion-style. They ingeniously utilize the narrow, flat terrain in the mountains, perfectly combining traditional rammed earth construction techniques with the mortise-and-tenon method of building. For example, the Hegui Building, built on marshland, remains sturdy and stable after over 200 years.
Defensively, Tulou are veritable fortresses. Their thick outer walls, lack of outward-facing windows on the first floor, and the presence of firing ports and watchtowers, along with sturdy gates equipped with fireproofing devices, effectively repelled external attacks.

The filming location for "Big Fish & Begonia" features several distinctive large earthen buildings, perfect for taking photos. It's actually a village, quite pleasant to stroll around in, and many original inhabitants still live there, giving it a very natural feel.
It's a combined ticket, valid for entry within three days.
There are quite a few steps between the entrance to the Chuxi Tulou Cluster and the electric shuttle bus stop, which isn't very convenient for disabled people and the elderly.
