Very amazing and wonderful experience to visit this beautiful place. I recommend everyone to come here and enjoy.
The off-season experience was fantastic! The tour guides were also excellent! The only downside was that Binyang Central Cave was under renovation and wouldn't be finished until around the end of December. Those planning a trip might want to keep that in mind.

The attraction is worth visiting. The pavilions and towers are beautifully designed, the streams and bridges are refreshing, and there are many fun interactive activities. Although the ticket is expensive, it allows three entries, so it's still quite worthwhile.
The park was filled with snow, and I thought it wouldn't be crowded. But to my surprise, the games were fun, the performances were very realistic, and there were many audience members. The scenes of historical figures patriotizing and protecting their people drew rounds of applause!

Natural Scenery: Strange peaks and rocks, overlapping peaks, misty clouds, countless ravines and cliffs, towering peaks reaching into the clouds, shrouded in mist and clouds, verdant mountains, and overlapping verdant peaks. Mountain Formation: Rolling hills, majestic mountains, numerous peaks vying for beauty, and a myriad of shapes and forms. Landscape Features: A fairyland of peaks, an unparalleled sacred place, the world's first fairy mountain, the green heart of China, Zhangjiajie of the North. Cultural Atmosphere: A Taoist holy site, following the way of nature, morning bells and evening drums, and the lingering fragrance of incense.
The experience was amazing! The view from Laojun Mountain overlooking the surrounding mountains, with the golden summit bathed in sunlight, was breathtaking. Looking down upon the magnificent landscape of our motherland is truly a blessing. I must work hard and travel more. (A side note: I suggest a lot of teasing; stubborn Chinese people can't stand being mocked 🙃)

The ticket price is excellent value! We used a three-day pass and went for two days. On the first day, we played from the afternoon until almost closing time. There were tons of interactive NPCs, various games, and a fantastic atmosphere. The night view was stunning, and the food and drinks inside were very reasonably priced. I would definitely bring my kids here if I have the chance.
It's quite fun; I visit this place every time I come. The only downside is that there's nowhere to charge your phone. There are plenty of outlets in Qingyuan Park, but not a single one here. You have to use a power bank, and it takes forever to charge your phone.

It's best to visit during the off-season, as you can enjoy the small theater performances at a more relaxed pace without the exhaustion of rushing from one show to another. The most difficult show to get a turn for, the red-faced one, only required a less than 30-minute wait; for most others, arriving a little early ensured a good viewing experience.
Today's visit to "Only Henan: A City of Theatrical Fantasy" deeply moved me. In the grand narrative of *The Railway Station Theater*, I witnessed a poignant and intense brotherly bond—Li Shiyi, the elder brother of Li Shiba, harboring an almost tragic tolerance and boundless love for his brother. The horrors of the 1942 Henan famine were reenacted on stage, the desperate scene of starving people scrambling for food was suffocating. When Li Shiyi, desperately seeking some life-saving seeds from his brother, the stationmaster, learned that the price would be his brother's life, his world crumbled instantly. Ultimately, Li Shiba opened the granary to distribute the grain, sacrificing himself in the process. Li Shiyi's madness and breakdown upon learning all this vividly portrayed the struggle of humanity under extreme circumstances. The smaller theater production *Wheat, Oh Wheat* depicts the resilient landscape of the people of Henan, who have depended on the land for thousands of years. Those simple and hardworking farmers, dedicating their lives to the wheat fields, saw wheat not only as food but also as their roots and soul. With the southward advance of the Jin army at the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, Henan was forever cut off from the dynastic capital, a historical turning point tinged with desolation and regret. Another short play, "Su Shi's Henan," succinctly portrays the tumultuous life of the literary giant Su Shi in just thirty minutes. From his initial fame through the imperial examinations, to his repeated demotions and fluctuating fortunes, until his eventual pardon but failure to return to the capital Bianjing, where he died and was buried in Henan, his poetry is filled with a magnanimous outlook on life and an optimistic view of hardship. Yet, isn't this also a kind of spiritual transcendence under the pressure of reality? Behind that "forced magnanimity" lies a profound undercurrent of unfulfilled ambition throughout his life. This trip was not merely a theatrical experience, but a profound dialogue with the land, history, and the depths of human nature.

I hired a guide, and the explanation was quite detailed. I gained a better understanding of the official history. I also caught a performance in the afternoon, which was a good experience. And I must say, the restrooms in the scenic area were very clean.

Jiaozuo Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area: Visit the summit of Yuntai Mountain, Zhuyu Peak (1297 meters above sea level), the origin of the saying "Where there are dogwood branches, one less person"; check out the glass walkway at Phoenix Ridge (haha, it's really not scary at all); visit Xiaozhaigou, and explore Tanpu Gorge, Longevity Peach Stone, Golden Dragon Lying on the Waves, Immortal Spring, and Tang King's Sword Testing Stone, etc.
Tanpu Gorge, also known as Xiaozhaigou, stretches for 2 kilometers and enjoys a mild climate with warm winters and cool summers. Due to abundant surface and groundwater from the north, as well as the joints and fissures in the local limestone and dolomite, Tanpu Gorge features high cliffs and deep valleys, with springs every three steps, waterfalls every five steps, and pools every ten steps, earning it the name "Tanpu River" (meaning "Pool and Waterfall Valley"). Walking upstream along the gorge, one encounters cascading waterfalls such as "Lover's Waterfall," "Golden Dragon Lying on the Waves," "Fountain of Youth," "Water Curtain Waterfall," and "Phoenix Tail String of Pearls," creating a picturesque scene. The most spectacular is the "Y-Shaped Waterfall," over ten meters high, with a pool five or six meters deep below, the waterfall and pool merging into one, a unique and breathtaking sight. At the end of Tanpu Gorge, sheer cliffs embrace the gorge, forming a unique "U"-shaped rift valley landscape, offering a solitary and contemplative view of the sky. In addition, the canyon is full of strangely shaped rocks, each with its own unique shape and charm, including the Peach Rock, the Slimming Rock, the Sword Testing Rock, and the Butterfly Rock.

The Luoyang Museum is an absolute underrated treasure! As a concentrated essence of the ancient capital of thirteen dynasties, it tells the story of the "Divine Capital's" glory in the most direct way. The unearthed Northern Wei clay Buddha face, though incomplete, possesses a serene and compassionate beauty that touches the soul—a "Mona Lisa of the East." Be sure to allocate at least 3 hours; the exhibits are incredibly informative! If you are a history enthusiast, this is paradise; if you are just passing through, it is enough to plant a seed of wonder in your heart—that the pulse of Chinese civilization once beat so powerfully here.
We took our child on an educational trip and found our lovely tour guide, Xiaoya, for a VIP museum tour. Xiaoya was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. Her explanations were insightful yet simple, engaging, and captivating. Our child followed her for the entire 3 hours – a truly delightful surprise! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The interactive live-action performance in ancient costumes was a lot of fun, a real treat for history buffs. The theme was related to the rebellion of the Turkic prince Mochuo during the reign of Empress Wu Zetian, and even brought tears to the eyes of longtime fans of Detective Dee. I went without dinner, and the plates they gave us weren't enough; a plate of fried rice would have been fine too, as my stomach was growling.
Yingtian Gate, the majestic central axis of Luoyang City during the Sui and Tang Dynasties. It is not only a pinnacle of ancient city gate architecture—its triple-tiered structure and five-phoenix tower paved the way for later palace designs—but also the ultimate stage for imperial ceremonies: the arrival of envoys from all nations and the enthronement of emperors all unfolded here, showcasing the grandeur of the Tang Dynasty. Its "double-tiered structure" became a model for East Asian capital city architecture, encapsulating a dual symphony of ancient Chinese political order and architectural aesthetics. The reconstructed gate tower, though a rebirth, still stands as a spiritual landmark of Central Plains culture, allowing the imperial aura of a thousand years to resonate through time, echoing powerfully between its bricks and stones.
