Combining a sightseeing bus with the City Walk is the perfect way to unlock Wuzhizhou Island. It avoids the scorching sun and fatigue of walking alone, while also preventing the rushed sightseeing experience of traveling entirely by vehicle, making exploration flexible and enjoyable. The hop-on, hop-off pass covers six core stops. The sightseeing bus travels along the island's ring road, with the sea breeze carrying the fragrance of tropical vegetation. Along the way, you can enjoy distant views of the cliffs of Sunrise Rock and the magnificent crashing waves, easily reaching hidden gems that are difficult to access on foot.
Visit Wuzhizhou Island. I recommend buying tickets in advance if you're planning a solo trip. I booked mine on Ctrip, which included the entrance fee and an electric scooter tour around the island!
Boarding the boat at Haitang Bay Wharf, the sea breeze carries a salty, damp scent. In the distance, Wuzhizhou Island resembles an emerald embedded in the South China Sea, its verdant mountains gradually coming into focus.
Upon arrival on the island, the white sand beach is fine and soft, warm to the touch under bare feet. The seawater displays distinct layers of color; near the shore, the light blue reveals small fish darting among the coral reefs, while the deeper waters transform into a rich sapphire blue, merging seamlessly with the sky. Strolling along the beach, you'll see hermit crab footprints, hear the gentle lapping of the waves, and experience the island's captivating charm.
In the afternoon, snorkeling reveals a stunning underwater world: clownfish hide among the colorful coral reefs, butterflyfish flutter, and sea cucumbers rest peacefully on the rocks (Note: Please do not touch the corals to protect the ecosystem). After a day of fun, relax on a beach chair, watch the clouds drift by, listen to the whispers of the waves and coconut palms—time slows down, and the hustle and bustle fades away.
Climbing to the Sunrise Rock at dusk, the setting sun dyed the sea golden and red, returning boats trailed shimmering waves, and the lights of Sanya city gradually came on. The sea breeze carried the scent of coconut, and looking back at the island, it lay serenely in the South China Sea like a sleeping maiden.
Looking back as we left the island, I understood its reputation as "China's Maldives"—not just for its azure seas and white sands, but also for its tranquil seclusion from the hustle and bustle, a beauty etched into my memory.

I booked the Beiyou 26 cabin, but because someone else was filming a variety show with me on the same trip, they gave it to them, so they changed me to the Beiyou 16, a V-class cabin. On the way there, you couldn't leave the cabin, but there was a restroom inside. It was a short ride. It was an 8-person cabin, and everyone was very quiet and comfortable. I recommend it.
Clean and tidy, with a beautiful courtyard! There's a restaurant with decent food! It's only 100 meters from Shell Beach, very convenient! Car rental is also easy; the owner even provides pick-up and drop-off at the pier! Thumbs up!

The place and the island are really beautiful. Derivative you should go there. A lot of food, attractions.
Upon arrival, we rented an electric scooter from an older woman for 25 yuan. Later, we learned that the scooter's accessibility was limited to certain areas; it couldn't go through many places. The scenery along the walking paths was beautiful, and the kids loved collecting seashells, coral, and stones in the sea. The island has many indigenous people, and the roads between their houses are very narrow and cramped. Taking photos by the sea near the end of the island was particularly photogenic.

The hotel offered good value for money, and the butler service was prompt. Most importantly, we avoided peak season, making it a very pleasant experience. It shares facilities with another upscale hotel, whose children's playground is the best I've ever seen that's free.
The tour bus was great, stopping only at each stop so you could hop back on immediately after enjoying the scenery. The scenery at the scenic area was beautiful, but unfortunately, due to strong winds, various entertainment activities had to be suspended, which was understandable given safety concerns. Great job! 👍

The scenic area is located in Nanshan, a spur of the Wuzhishan Mountains. The mountains are undulating and lush, facing the South China Sea, creating a breathtaking panorama of mountains and sea. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery where mountains and sea meet, and experience the tranquility and harmony of nature.
Nanshan Scenic Area is really huge. Due to time constraints, I only had half a day to visit. I queued for 3 hours at the Guanyin statue in Nanhu Lake, and then went to the Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum before taking a bus back.

Its advantage lies in its popularity; seniors who want to visit will go. There are many sales pitches inside the attraction. Unless you have mobility issues, there's no need to buy the 68 yuan sightseeing bus ticket; the 28 yuan ticket is sufficient. The scenery is alright.
I've known about Tianya Haijiao (End of the Earth) since I was a child because it's featured on the 2 RMB note. I'd always heard the legends about it but never been there. This time, during my trip to Sanya, I decided to visit.
Location: Sanya has several bays, including Yalong Bay, Sanya Bay, and Haitang Bay. Tianya Haijiao is actually near Sanya Bay. If you're staying in Yalong Bay or Haitang Bay, I recommend visiting Tianya Haijiao as soon as you get off the plane. It's only a 40-minute drive from Sanya Phoenix Airport, very close by, so you can easily return to your accommodation afterward.
Tickets: Tianya Haijiao is a free attraction. You don't need to spend any money; just make a reservation in advance through their official WeChat account and then bring your ID card to swipe at the entrance.
Recommended Activities: Tianya Haijiao (End of the Earth) actually has two entrances. There's a west entrance next to Tianya Town, which is the main gate of the scenic area. Personally, I recommend entering through the main gate rather than the west entrance. If you enter through the west gate, it's difficult to access Tianya Town. If you enter through the main gate, you can exit through the west gate and then visit Tianya Town. Also, upon entering, you might be offered a tour bus ticket, but don't buy it. It's unnecessary. The scenic area claims a 6km round trip, but you can only walk about 3km. The tour bus doesn't cover many attractions, so exploring on your own is much better.
1: After entering through the main gate, walk south along the designated route for about 350 meters. You'll see the "Southern Pillar of Heaven" (the one on the back of the 2 RMB note). Take a picture with the 2 RMB note against the Southern Pillar – it's a great photo opportunity. There's also the Southern Stone next to the Southern Pillar, which you can also take pictures with.
2. Continuing south, you'll encounter the very popular "One Tree at the End of the World" spot. There are free photo opportunities there; you can sit and take pictures with friends. You can pick up the photos later, but just choose the free ones. It's not worth spending 25 yuan for a professionally edited one; this is a potential pitfall, so please be aware.
3. Continuing south along the beach, you'll come across a rainforest. However, there's not much to see there, so I don't recommend exploring it. It's quite boring. Continuing south, you'll reach the famous Tianya and Haijiao (End of the World). Note that Tianya and Haijiao are not connected. Tianya Stone is relatively easy to find, but Haijiao is behind it. You can take photos at Haijiao first, then go to Tianya Stone, as it gets quite crowded.
After visiting Tianya and Haijiao, you can exit through the west gate. In the evening, you can stroll around Tianya Town; the town's night view is truly beautiful.
However, it must be said that Tianya Haijiao (End of the Earth) is a very cost-effective tourist attraction in Hainan. The beaches, coconut trees, and greenways are truly beautiful, but there are some pitfalls to be aware of.
Also, I don't recommend renting a car, as parking is difficult.
Overall, I'd give it a 4.7 out of 10.

I brought my mother, who is in a wheelchair, to the Sanya Romance Park. The accessible facilities were truly touching, and the third restroom was spacious and clean. The staff proactively arranged a private area for us to watch the performance and even provided blankets to keep us warm. The service was incredibly thoughtful; I give them a thumbs up! The performance incorporated many cultural elements, which my mother thoroughly enjoyed.
Kudos to the director of the main show, "Sanya Romance Park"! The use of stage machinery is textbook-perfect, especially the innovative use of the transparent membrane. The actors' physical expression is powerful; even those sitting in the back rows can feel the emotional transmission. Theater enthusiasts should definitely pay close attention to the stage direction and lighting design; the Sanya Romance Park is full of meticulous craftsmanship.

This free 4A-level scenic spot in Sanya boasts stunning scenery and offers panoramic views of Phoenix Island, Dubai. It's definitely worth a visit. The entire walk is about 5 kilometers, but taking a golf cart makes the experience much easier and more enjoyable! 👍
The attraction ticket also included a voucher for coffee and snacks. The coffee was quite good, and the view of Sanya at night was beautiful. It's probably the highest point in Sanya Bay.
