I visited on the last day of the May Day holiday. The weather was sunny and bright, the scenery was beautiful, and there were few people—a perfect off-peak travel experience. The cable car ride up and down the mountain was smooth, with short queues. There were many service stations on the mountain, making it convenient for tourists to replenish supplies. I also took advantage of the senior citizen discount for the May Day holiday. Five stars!
It truly lives up to its nickname, "Little Huangshan," with stunning scenery. We took the Gangshou Cableway, a round trip loop that took 9 hours. There were no queues for either the cableway or the main attractions. While it's a bit far from the core scenic spots like the Oriental Goddess and the Giant Python Emerging from the Mountain, the route is relatively gentle. The morning was sunny, it rained at noon, and in the afternoon, it gradually became shrouded in mist. Although the weather wasn't great, we still experienced a unique kind of beauty.
