There were so many people and tourists that I didn't have time to take in many things. It's like a low-end version of the Forbidden City in Beijing. Many of the artifacts on display were discarded from the Forbidden City. Some rooms were off-limits, so people crowded around the entrances to take photos. There was no lighting inside, so the photos didn't look great. The architecture is still quite distinctive.

Xinghai Park is definitely worth punching in! The sea view here is superb, the blue sky and blue sea are fun. The amusement projects are super rich, the sea bungee jumping is super exciting, the Ferris wheel can enjoy the panoramic view, and the beach can play in the water. It's okay, it only takes a minute or a few minutes to go around. It's quite fast because it's electric and not hand-cranked. Compared with the rowing boats in Suzhou Hangzhou 2030, this one feels average and the scenery is average, worth 15 at most.

Take Metro Line 2 to Xinghai Square Station, then walk about 1 kilometer. Walk through the food street to Xinghai Square. There's a cross-sea bridge and seagulls. The scenery is slightly less impressive on a cloudy day; it's much better for photos on a sunny day. There are fun interactive experiences where you can buy food to feed the seagulls. Great value for money; free to stroll around the square and enjoy the scenery.

Distance makes the heart grow fonder. Tiger Beach Fisherman's Wharf and Lingjiao Bay face each other across the sea. The buildings here are quite beautiful when viewed from the opposite side of Lingjiao Bay, but they are just so-so when viewed up close. It is quite commercialized, with street-style shops and cars parked in a bit of a mess. We had a couple of drinks at Bawang Tea House and a dinner. The food at Pinhailou was quite good.

The price was reasonable, and the middle row was great for viewing. The show was engaging and hilarious, and the finale, featuring interactive performances and acrobatics, was truly breathtaking. The Nanfeng restrooms were shabby and poorly maintained, and for such a large audience, improvements are needed.
