E00***27Why is Slender West Lake so slender? Is the Twenty-Four Bridges a single bridge or 24 bridges? During my trip to Yangzhou, I found the answers. It turns out that Slender West Lake is a miniature version of West Lake. Slender West Lake is incredibly beautiful. Yangzhou will always be my hometown.

206***80It was great, better than expected, and the scenery was very pleasant. The only downside was that some elderly people who got in for free treated the place like a park, taking up space to practice their martial arts, which affected the experience. Otherwise, it was excellent.

Anonymous userHe Garden, also known as "Jixiao Villa," is hailed as the "Number One Garden of the Late Qing Dynasty" and is a representative work of Yangzhou gardens in the late Qing Dynasty. Buildings such as Yuxiu Tower blend the traditional Chinese concept of interconnected buildings with Western elements, reflecting a unique architectural style that combines Chinese and Western elements.

施莱登米莉Around 3 p.m., I finally arrived at Daming Temple, which I had been longing to visit. Luckily, there was a free guided tour by volunteers, which was great value. The volunteer spoke clearly and knew the history and culture of Pingshan Hall and Daming Temple like the back of her hand. She was also very kind and friendly, and gave us a comprehensive understanding of the history of Daming Temple.

mf追梦者The Grand Canal is the mother river of Yangzhou and an important embodiment of its ancient culture. It is a vital part of the Grand Canal and boasts a history of over 2000 years. The night view of the Grand Canal is truly beautiful; a boat trip offers a breathtaking experience, resembling a long scroll painting of "Along the River During the Qingming Festival." Come and experience the feeling of being immersed in a painting…

lingliziPassing through Yangzhou, I made a point of visiting the Grand Canal Museum of China. Located on the banks of the ancient Sanwan Grand Canal in Yangzhou, it's a national landmark exhibit showcasing the history, culture, and significance of the Grand Canal. Through a wealth of artifacts, immersive experiences, and high-tech interactive displays, the museum vividly showcases the canal's millennial splendor and the wisdom of everyday life, becoming a vital window into the canal's charm and Chinese civilization. The museum is excellent, but the parking lot is terrible, charging 6 yuan per hour, which meant it took two or three hours to explore.

两轮+四轮This was my first trip to Yangzhou, and these attractions were recommended on Ctrip. History buffs shouldn't miss them! Yangzhou isn't big, and taxis, buses, and shared electric scooters are all readily available. The museum houses the tomb of Liu Xu, the King of Guangling during the Western Han Dynasty, and his wife. It features a unique "huangchangticou" (a type of traditional Chinese weaving) structure, one of only seven such sites discovered nationwide. There weren't many tourists, so I had a leisurely 1.5 hours to explore it!

Anonymous userHonestly, I don't really know what the Yangzhou Eight Eccentrics Museum is about. The ginkgo trees are definitely worth visiting in autumn. Although there are only two or three trees, they are very beautiful because of their age, and combined with the architecture, they create a charmingly antique atmosphere.

靊靌It is worth visiting here once. It is an ancient town with its own characteristics. You should go there a little earlier, otherwise the flow of people will be limited during holidays. Eat and walk in the evening. After the tour, you can also go to the ancient canal to see the night view.

两轮+四轮When traveling to Yangzhou, the attractions recommended by Ctrip are not crowded and can be considered off-the-beaten-path. Yangzhou doesn't have a subway, so riding a shared electric scooter is the most convenient option! The museum is built on the tomb of Emperor Yang of Sui and his wife. While it doesn't have a huge collection of artifacts, it details Emperor Yang's life, his role in ending the more than 170-year division between the Northern and Southern Dynasties, his construction of the Grand Canal, and his establishment of the imperial examination system. It's definitely worth a visit! Two hours is sufficient.
