琴成吉思汗The most noteworthy feature of Dajingmen Gate is the four powerful characters "大好河山" (Great Rivers and Mountains) on the lintel, inscribed by Gao Weiyue, the military governor of Chahar, in 1927. Climbing the gate tower offers panoramic views of Zhangjiakou city and allows one to experience the imposing grandeur of a fortified pass. Photography Spots: Sunrise: Check the sunrise time in advance and take silhouette photos under the gate while wearing Hanfu or Ming Dynasty clothing for an exceptional atmosphere. Evening: As the sun sets, the golden sunlight bathes the gate tower, creating a spectacular scene and making it the golden time for photography. After the City Wall is Illuminated: At night, the city wall is illuminated, making the red walls particularly striking, attracting more people and creating a lively atmosphere. Surrounding Area: Xigou, outside the gate, is a Hui Muslim community. Stroll through the old streets and experience the local customs. The pedestrian street below the city wall is free and open to the public.

DanPalpaThis is a good ski resort with a decent selection of runs suitable for all levels of skier. The queues for the lifts get a bit too long and you can end up waiting a long time to get up the mountain which is frustrating. I also got a bit frustrated with having to scan QR codes on the ticker to register my face for the entry gate, as it wouldn't work with a foreign name. I've got my ticket - just let me in already!

M48***15Wanlong is also renowned in northern China. Its abundant number of slopes, impressive lengths and elevation differences, and impressive snow quality have made it a synonym for professional skiing. The resort is large, the cable cars are fast, and the crowds are quite high. It's suitable for beginners and above, with a wide selection of restaurants and comprehensive facilities. The only drawback is the high prices.

LaoneeCome on New Year's Day and take a picture of the Yuan egg on the top of the mountain. The 9 advanced trails are skiable enough. I recommend Dandelion and Wild Rose, which have long snow trails. There are few people on the cable car No. 6, and it is just right to get on the cable car when you get down from Wild Rose. All the facilities are good, but the food is a bit poor.

In addition, the "One Step Park" provides a dedicated route for skiers, featuring jumps, equipment areas, and a "mushroom area," adding to the fun of skiing. - Comprehensive Facilities: The town has 9 hotels, complete with snow-view hot springs, a cinema, cafes, a library, and 10 bars. Anonymous userThe scenery is particularly great. I caught up with the most beautiful time of the Colorful Forest. Off-road is also highly recommended. When playing the package project, the order was messed up. The staff arranged to take the sightseeing bus again for free, which is very humane.

Anonymous userIt is not far from the Badaling Great Wall. You can visit the Great Wall before going to the zoo. There are not many people in the whole park. You can drive yourself or take a shuttle bus. You can see different animals on the shuttle bus. You can play on your own when you reach the end. If you want to go back to the starting point, you need to buy a separate ticket for 15 yuan. The animals are in good spirits. If you are not in a hurry, you can take your time to visit.

bbhhzhcBuying VIP tickets during peak season is a great deal, as it saves a lot of queuing time. There are dedicated lounges, complimentary photo opportunities and creative ice cream, and you can use the VIP lane throughout the entire trip. You also get priority boarding the cable car. We easily and quickly got to the Great Wall.

M45***93The kids liked it very much. There is also a dinosaur park inside. We even wore space suits to take pictures, which was a different experience. Because we were in a hurry, we only climbed volcanoes No. 8, No. 6 and No. 3. The scenery was very good.

Anonymous userJuyongguan Great Wall isn't as famous as Badaling, and there's no cable car there. We arrived at 1 PM and started with the eastern route, which was quite easy; we only encountered about ten tourists along the way. The western route is steeper. It was cold in Beijing that day, and the wind reached level 7, so we turned back after reaching watchtower number 9. There are still watchtowers 10-14 to come. The whole route takes about 3 hours. In good weather, climbing the entire loop shouldn't be a problem. That day, there were dozens of foreigners on the western route. Apparently, due to the strong winds, the Badaling cable car was closed, and tour groups were bringing people to Juyongguan; otherwise, there would have been even fewer tourists. In short, it wasn't crowded, and the experience was good. Those who enjoy hiking the Great Wall on their own can try Juyongguan, although the scenery isn't as beautiful as Badaling.
