Harbin's Maple Leaf Hot Springs: A Thermal Escape
Harbin is a city of contrasts, but there's one place where these contrasts merge into harmony. We're talking about the Maple Leaf Village Hot Spring. These aren't just pools, but a full-fledged spa complex where people come to relax, unwind, and find some solitude.
🌳 Not a resort, but a state of being
The complex's architecture is Scandinavian in style: lots of wood, soft lighting, and spacious areas. You won't feel like you're in a water park here—it's a place for meditation and rejuvenation. The key is the water. Thermal, soft, with varying temperatures and compositions. Here, you forget about time and simply dissolve in the moment.
♨️ 38 pools to suit every need
The water area covers over 6,000 m². There's something for everyone:
The "Spicy" pool is a local legend. Water with pepper extracts invigorates, warms, and provides a vibrant experience.
The "Duck" pool, shaped like a mandarin duck, is an unusual design for photos and fun company.
Therapeutic baths – with milk, rose petals, herbs, and wine. Each has its own story and effect.
The pool with doctor fish – a gentle natural exfoliation (separate service).
A large hydromassage pool – you can swim and relax your muscles at the same time.
The indoor area offers saunas (Finnish and Turkish), steam rooms with pine aromas, and deep relaxation areas.
🧘 How to get the most out of it
A couple of simple rules to ensure a successful vacation:
1. Take your bracelet at the entrance – this is your locker key and your e-wallet. All purchases inside are debited from this amount, and you pay the total bill upon exit.
2. Don't bring anything of your own—robes, slippers, and towels are provided free of charge.
3. Don't skip the lounge area—fruit, tea, and water are included in the price. The ginger tea is especially good.
4. Take a photo of the massage price list—it's often cheaper in Chinese than in Russian. Show the photo to the administrator.
5. Plan on at least four hours—to give yourself time to refocus and avoid rushing.
👨👩👧👦 For all ages
Family recreation is thought out down to the last detail. There's a children's area with shallow pools and slides, and a playground. Parents can relax in the adjacent area, but keep an eye on their children. Spacious rooms with tatami mats are available for groups.
