Beijing to Guangzhou train baggage allowance

China trains do not offer a baggage consignment service. All luggage must be carried by passengers and comply with the baggage allowance. Additionally, passengers traveling to or from Hong Kong West Kowloon Station are responsible for adherding the latest exit and entry policies,including any quantity or volume limits on carry-on items.

Baggage size and weight limits

  1. The maximum baggage weight allowance is 20 kg for Adults, 10 kg for Children, and 35 kg for Diplomats.
  2. The total dimensions (length + width + height) of any single piece of baggage must not exceed 130 cm.

Prohibited items

The following items are strictly prohibited within the railway area and on trains:

  1. Explosive, flammable, or other dangerous goods
  2. Toxic, corrosive, or radioactive materials
  3. Contagious or infectious substances
  4. Any other item that could endanger passengers, staff, or property.

Train travel with animals

Only visually impaired passengers are permitted to travel with a guide dog wearing a harness. Passengers must present relevant documentation to our staff for inspection.
