It is the primary terminus of the Beijing–Harbin high-speed railway and a corridor to a number of destinations in the northeast, including Shenyang and Harbin. The station is also on the Beijing–Baotou railway and Line 3 of the Beijing Subway. Transferring between services is seamless - handy for an airport transfer towards other parts of the capital as well as north and northeast China.
