A decent hotel with a good beach and responsive staff. A beautiful view from the room (if you take the ocean view).
From the downsides - the road passes right behind the hotel. Although the hotel and the beach are fenced, the noise is heard, especially lying on the beach ... interrupts even the noise of the slot. But this is a problem as I understand the whole south-west coast..
On the day of departure was early check-out, staff had prepared breakfast. and gave it with them.

Hidden away nearby from the busy main road in Ahangama this is a really nice play to stay which I can recommend. Although I travelled with members of my family, we all had separate rooms, which look out onto a green grassy courtyard area with the swimming pool nearby.
Jude as the new General Manager is one of the friendliest and most hospitable people in the whole of Sri Lanka and goes out of your way to make you feel at home in the hotel and welcome in Sri Lanka! I was ill with an upset stomach for a few days while there and he was most helpful in getting me better.

It is in the distance from everything but the landscape is just stunning. It is difficult to get to the territory even having a booking. The guard at the gate speaks bad English.
