The overall experience is definitely positive but I feel the hotel could improve its service that matches its hardware, the property itself.
This hotel is on par with some other hotels we stayed recently but its service does have a lot room for desire. After I showed my reservation and it clearly indicates the room is for two, I was still asked if it was for three, just because there were two people walked in with me together? Then went to the non-smoking room that smells conspicuously otherwise. The front desk instead offers to “treat” the room before offering a different room. The replacement is much better but I saw an ashtray in the room and the staff then replied it’s part of standard room amenities 🥴. The next morning around 7:30am, I was about to go to front desk and asks for more toilet paper but happens to see a staff, she used a walkie talkie and asks someone to deliver the toilet paper for me. She was so loud that I was afraid some guests might come out their rooms and scold her.
But the hotel’s carpet looks gorgeous and feels great too, and the corridors are much broader than norms. Also the toilet paper was delivered by the robot as shown in the pic, which was kind of cool.FromUS$23

Facilities: This hotel appears to be a renovated, established star-rated hotel. The amenities are acceptable, including a restaurant and a luxurious lobby. However, the room facilities are quite poor, especially the bathroom. There's no separate wet and dry area, and the bathroom still has an old-fashioned bathtub. The showerhead is old and the water pressure is very low, worse than the bathrooms in budget-friendly chain hotels. Furthermore, the bathroom light doesn't turn off, but automatically turns on again after you've turned it off for the night. The bedside lamp has a button that doesn't work, so I have to turn it off with the main control. Fortunately, turning it off doesn't affect the air conditioning. The TV is small, but that's not a big deal, as TV filters aren't very good these days.

This hotel is the best experience I have ever stayed in so many hot spring hotels. Because of the small treasure, Xiaobao is more picky about eating and staying.
In terms of accommodation, the lower bunk of the parent-child room with Xiaobao lived in was visually a single bed of 1.5, which was much more spacious than an ordinary single bed. It was completely possible to sleep the two of us. The bed was surrounded on three sides. I didn't worry that Xiaobao would fall out of bed. There is also a cart where Xiaobao can play.
