This was our first time staying here. We booked a deluxe room with a mountain view. We were able to check in an hour early, which was great, so thank you to the hotel for that flexibility. The room had a huge bed, clean linen, and a very comfortable mattress and pillows. It's clear the hotel isn't brand new and wasn't built yesterday – some of the furniture is a bit worn and there were stains on the carpet. However, this wasn't a big deal for us, and overall, the room was fine.
Breakfast was included and offered a really wide selection: several types of cheese and porridge, cereals, cottage cheese, yogurts, vegetables (you could make a Greek salad), various sausages and cold cuts, canned tuna, omelets, scrambled eggs, waffles, blinis, pancakes, coffee, juices, nuts, croissants, about 5 kinds of jam, and even pasta in the morning. In my opinion, that's a huge variety! The breakfast assortment was more or less the same every day, but we didn't get tired of it, and everything was delicious.
A massive bonus is the extensive green grounds with ancient fir and pine trees – there's plenty of space to walk around. There's even a Borjomi mineral water spring right on the property. The hotel also has a swimming pool, saunas, and spa treatments. The hotel is a bit further out from the main town of Borjomi, but for us, this was actually a plus as it meant fewer crowds. If you want to go into Borjomi town, you can take a taxi or walk a couple of kilometers.
If you're looking for peace and quiet, this hotel is an excellent choice. If I come back to Borjomi, I'll definitely be staying here again!FromUS$161
