This hotel was looked newly revovated. Thus, it was clean with new furniture and decor. The room was clean and the house keeper took actions to our request efficiently. However, their gym was small and only few equipment provided . Besides , it had very bad lighting. This is a typical 1970s hotel. It probably started out as a dormitory, given its proximity to an oil refinery. The service is modest, and the room is small, like a 'Khrushchevka' (a small, mass-produced apartment), but it's clean. The main downside is the incredibly loud slamming of the room doors. It seems to be a design flaw; even with door closers installed, the doors bang against the frame with a loud thud that's amplified by the echo of the long corridor.
Otherwise, the breakfast is quite decent, as long as you avoid the rush (most people go to eat around 8:30 AM, which leads to overcrowding, no available seats, and food not being refilled quickly enough). For my taste, the only thing missing was milk. And while the hotel is a bit out of the way, there's a bus stop about 100 meters away with buses to the city center every 15 minutes.
We didn't use the hotel's parking. There's free street parking available just around the corner.FromUS$72
