For travelers flying to Brighton, it is essential to note that none of the available airports are located within the city of Brighton itself; all are situated in neighboring cities or the London area. London Gatwick Airport (LGW) is the most practical gateway, serving as the closest major international hub and offering the fastest and cheapest transport links. Passengers arriving at Heathrow Airport (LHR) will face a significantly longer journey that requires transiting through the London transport network. Similarly, London Luton Airport (LTN) and London Stansted Airport (STN) primarily handle international and low-cost traffic, but their distance from the coast necessitates more complex planning. London City Airport (LCY) is a convenient business-oriented airport, though it lacks direct coastal access. When choosing, prioritize Gatwick for efficiency, but be prepared for longer transit times if flying into the larger London hubs, where pre-booked private transfers often provide the most stress-free experience for groups.

I stayed here for three consecutive days. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day, and coffee/tea packets were replenished. You need your key card to operate the elevator, which is a nice security feature. Like many other hotels in the UK, it's more expensive on Fridays and Saturdays. The hotel is close to attractions and supermarkets.

The view from my room was perfect! The room was small but clean and tidy. Perfect location, walking distance to tourist spots. Excellent staff. Unique lift, was scared to be stucked just in case it breaks but never happened. Just bear in mind that the ground floor/entrance is a bar/pub. From my room, I could hear the noise from the road even if my windows are closed- good thing to know for the light sleepers like me. But regardless, i still had a good time! Will recommend!

Great location great size room and comfy beds very quiet at night.  Two king size beds were great.   Breakfast was good value. Air con quiet and very good.   Defo be back.  Only slight annoyance was parking under hotel cost me  £44 a day so £88 for to night with suitcases and kids in tow it’s the best place to park but no discount for being a guest.

The location right by the sea is fantastic, and the staff are really friendly and enthusiastic. The only thing is that it's an old building. The wooden floors are covered with thick carpets, but they still creak a bit. It seems like it's been around for quite a few years.

Fantastic stay – great service, location, and value! We stayed over a weekend and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Check-in: we arrived early at 1pm (official check-in is 3pm) and was pleasantly surprised that our rooms was already ready. The front desk team were warm and welcoming. Service: The staff went above and beyond – they even sent a follow-up SMS to check if our rooms were comfortable and if we needed any assistance. A personal touch that made a real difference. Location: Perfect – just a few steps from Brighton beach. Very convenient for exploring the seafront and town. Room: Clean, comfortable, and with strong, reliable air-conditioning. We didn't have a sea view (opted for a standard room), but it was perfectly fine since we were out most of the day. Wi-Fi: Fast and consistent – no issues at all. Parking: On-site parking available, and the rate was very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. Breakfast: The buffet spread was superb. A special mention for the dedicated vegan and vegetarian station – great to see such thoughtful options. Overall: Highly recommended for families, couples, solo travellers, or anyone wanting a stress-free stay in Brighton. I'd definitely stay again.

This hostel boasts a fantastic location, right next to Regent Square, and just steps from the beach. It's also within walking distance of the train station. The common areas are very spacious and include a communal kitchen, with plenty of outlets on the walls – perfect for getting some work done. The rooms themselves are clean, and each one has its own private bathroom. The only minor drawback is that blow-drying your hair might disturb others. Each guest gets a lockable locker, and the beds come with backrests. They even provide towels and bath mats (shampoo and shower gel are also available in the bathroom), which shows great attention to detail and convenience. Although the breakfast is simple, it's quite tasty. Overall, it was a really great experience, and I'd happily recommend this place to anyone visiting!

A few niggling things that could be improved to make it perfect, however, I would not book when the temperature outside is in the mid 20c or higher! It was baking inside more than outside, making it extremely difficult to work and sleep. The room was very clean other than a few hairs stuck in the pillow (paper lined instead of quality pillows). My room was right next to the cleaners cupboard and noise from others slamming their doors can be heard very clearly. Otherwise the street noise couldn’t be heard with the door closed, but in that heat there was no way you would want to close the door. They give you a standing fan and a ceiling fan that stays set to 19c and no way to make it go faster. You’ve been warned about booking in hot weather! They have a spacious lobby you can sit and work if needed, but I didn’t stay after check out. Great location for all amenities of Brighton. Cleaning products provided for dish washing, washing clothes and eco hand soap. Hair dryer, ironing board and iron, safe, bottle of water, milk and tea/coffee which was a nice touch (usually you get the fake milk in the pods). Everything else you need to provide yourself. Would stay here again if was in Brighton and in the winter! Maybe it’ll be nice and cosy in the winter.

The hotel is centrally located, backed by a business district and a 10-minute walk from Brighton Pier. Good service at the front desk, convenient check-in and check-out. The Travelodge Hotel is relatively simple, but it is neat and tidy. There is nothing to be nitpicking in general.

I was really worried when we first booked as the reviews were so awful online. I don’t want to discredit anyone else’s experience as they could have fixed some of the issues since other peoples stays but my partner and I both thought it was wonderful! The check in was super easy, the ‘guest house’ area wasn’t in use but who’s spending time in there anyway? The room was stunning! No problems with the cleanliness, noise or amenities. View of the beach front from the room window, hot water for the bath. No problems with the key safe or access to the building/room. I thought it was important to leave this review as the hotel seems to have a bad reputation online but from our experience it was fantastic! We’ll definitely be back and will be recommending!

Hotel name :A room with a view, 5 minutes by bus from the train station, just opposite Haitao, opposite the bus road, reception is on duty until 21 pm, if check in is later than 9 o'clock, you need to send an email to the duty staff to wait for you for a while, the hotel details are as shown in the picture, I will not describe it. It was a decent stay and at off peak for £80 on a Saturday it’s not too bad. It’s a nice area of town and near to everything whilst still being quiet. The key code system as helpful asyou could come and go at any time and no check in process was needed. The room was a reasonable size but the bathroom was very small and tight. The room gad basic creature comforts like soap, small shower gel/shampoo pots and hot drinks facilities. The overall cleanliness was fine but the extractor fan in the bathroom was very dusty and the shower could’ve been cleaner with some hairs in it. The bed and key hygiene elements were clean though. The floors were quite thin so you could hear neighbours at times and the room could’ve done with a blackout blind really. If it was cheap to stay again I’d consider here, but I wouldn’t pay more than I did given the overall experience as some basics were overlooked as mentioned. Hopefully the feedback is constructive.

the location is great - near the sea! The weather was great, so we are satisfied. We did not expect more amenities from the hotel, because everything was appropriate for the old city. The owner of the hotel was friendly, even allowed to leave things until the evening. we recommend!

The room is great with all the amenities available. Staff are really nice and helpful. The only thing that the hotel could improve is cleanliness of the duvet. I could see some stinks on it despite the fact that the duvet cover is clean. And also just a recommendation for the hotel, it would be great to serve the guests with disposable slippers for the hygiene of the room as it would be a bit inconvenient for travellers to step in the room without slippers
