For most travelers arriving by air, Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport (OTP) is the primary international gateway, handling the vast majority of commercial traffic. It is located 15.6 km from the city center and offers the best balance of transport frequency and connectivity. The second city airport, Bucharest Băneasa - Aurel Vlaicu International Airport (BBU), is located just 7.9 km away and is the most convenient option for those arriving on charter or specialized flights, though it is currently less active for commercial routes. The remaining three airports are located in neighboring cities and serve different regional purposes: Mihail Kogălniceanu International Airport (CND) serves the Constanța region, Brașov-Ghimbav International Airport (GHV) provides access to the Transylvania region, and Craiova international Airport (CRA) acts as a hub for the southern region. Travelers should prioritize OTP for international arrivals, while CND, GHV, and CRA are better suited for those whose primary destination is outside the capital.

Excellent stay at JW Marriott Bucharest The hotel is truly impressive, beautifully maintained, and elegant. From the moment you enter, you can feel the attention to detail and the high standards throughout the property. The rooms are beautifully designed, comfortable, and well kept, and the public areas of the hotel are equally impressive, stylish, and welcoming. The facilities and services offered by the hotel are excellent, especially the spa, which provides a relaxing and enjoyable experience and adds a lot to the overall stay. Above all, I would like to highlight the outstanding service provided by the hotel team. The staff are professional, attentive, caring, and genuinely committed to making guests feel welcome and valued. I would especially like to mention Anna from the Concierge Department, who was exceptional. She was extremely professional, kind, attentive, and always willing to assist with any request. Her personal attention made our stay even more special. JW Marriott Bucharest offers a wonderful combination of luxury, comfort, and outstanding hospitality. A highly recommended hotel for anyone looking for a premium experience in Bucharest.

◯ There are many supermarkets and restaurants nearby in front of the bus stop (368) ◯ Large and comfortable room, pool ◯ Type が Yuanfu な Asahi ◯ Staff are friendly and helpful Valentina, the reception staff, kindly told us about the hotel around the hotel at check-in. When I met at the hotel of the same group next door at a later date, she called out and even remembered my name. I was very happy. ILINCA was also a kind reception staff. When I told him I was tired from a long trip, he let me check out for free. Thanks to that, I was able to leave the hotel room according to the flight time. The breakfast restaurant staff ADE always had a smile and a very good impression. I found that he spoke well and cared for the guests. Thanks to him, I felt good from the morning. The staff at the breakfast restaurant are like the staff at the restaurant Sharkia next to the reception of this hotel. Other staff are kind and the food is delicious above all, so if you are interested in Sharkia, it seems worth a visit. Izabela in the server kitchen spoke Japanese. I was surprised because there were few people who spoke Japanese. I was happy to come to greet me from the kitchen and speak Japanese. In addition, the security and housekeeper at the entrance were kind. Thanks to the staff, we had a comfortable 3 night stay. Thank you very much.

Overall, it's pretty good, but it's definitely a bit old now. It's a bit like 'all that glitters is not gold' – the lobby and restaurant are very grand, and it's close to the Greek Theatre. The staff are quite friendly, and the rooms are relatively spacious. It's considered one of the better options in Bucharest.

The toilet and shower room are separate, so if you want to wash your hands, you have to go to a different room. There's no bottled water in the room; you have to get it from the water dispenser in the hallway. I was on the 12th floor, and the water dispenser was broken, but no one answered when I called, so I had to go to the 11th floor to get water.

This hotel is super nice and a very chic place to stay. Fun to have a drink in the lobby and to have breakfast inside the restaurant. The rooms are very spacious they have like three separate rooms and they have a beautiful balcony overlooking the property. Staff was flawless hotel was very upscale. The only problem I have with this hotel is that the pool is very very small and I like to luxury ate and of huge swimming pool when I am on vacation and the pool here very small maybe only suitable for children or for someone who doesn't like to swim laps. I never took a dip in the pool and I changed hotels because I wanted a spa / swimming pool hot tub amenity for my vacation. If you were not into pools then this is the perfect place to stay. I got this room for $100 a night and that is truly a steal.

I had an excellent short stay at this hotel and would certainly stay there again. My greeting on arrival was very good and as soon as I mentioned I had an early start the next day a take out breakfast was arranged. (It lasted breakfast and lunch). The bar and restaurant were nice tho I only used the restaurant for a breakfast and that was very good. It's an easy walk to the Old City, supermarket and fast food places and a couple of good restaurants nearby. Generally a lovely hotel, big rooms, immaculate, I had a full size bath which was good after a long day. Tea/coffee making in the room, mini bar/ fridge

Mine and my teenage son first time to Romania, the hotel was average from the outside but excellent as soon as you go through the doors. Room was more than I expected for price and the restaurant within the hotel was very well priced and some of the best food I have ever eaten.

The cleaning staff were exceptionally hardworking. We didn't like the room's design: an excess of black on the walls and a lacy grey ceiling, giving it an elegant/modern look, but very morbid. It's not acceptable for a place of rest to have a completely black hallway, black paneling, a black and grey carpet, and a lacy grey ceiling, giving a feeling of heaviness, oppression, and sadness. Furthermore, a hotel shouldn't have black on the walls because it makes you question the cleanliness. The window opens only partially, and since the hotel is located near a water area and isn't protected with screens, mosquitoes enter the room. We recommend rethinking the macabre interiors.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Elite World Grand Hotel, conveniently located on Basin Ekspres in Istanbul, and the experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment of arrival, the warm and professional demeanor of the staff was notable, catering to every need and making guests feel genuinely welcomed. The rooms are a true highlight, exhibiting a harmonious blend of luxury and comfort, with plush bedding, state-of-the-art amenities, and breathtaking views of the vibrant city of Istanbul. The attention to detail was evident, reflecting a high standard of cleanliness and a keen eye for aesthetic elegance. The culinary offerings at the hotel are exceptional. Each dish I tried was a dance of flavors, paying homage to the rich culinary heritage of Turkey while also offering a variety of international cuisines to suit every palate. The dining atmosphere was equally commendable, providing a pleasant backdrop to every meal. The hotel’s location is highly advantageous, offering easy access to a myriad of Istanbul’s attractions, shopping destinations, and dining options. Whether one is in the city for business or pleasure, the Elite World Grand Hotel’s location ensures convenience. Furthermore, the range of facilities, including a well-equipped fitness center and a serene spa, added an extra layer of indulgence to the stay, allowing guests to unwind and rejuvenate effectively. I extend my sincere compliments to the entire team at Elite World Grand Hotel, Basin Ekspres, Istanbul, for making my stay memorable. Grand Hotel Continental Bucuresti Review Having recently stayed at the Grand Hotel Continental in Bucharest, I can confidently say this establishment lives up to its grand name. The hotel exudes classic elegance, and the service was nothing short of exceptional. Special mention must go to Daniel, the bell boy, whose dedication to guest satisfaction went well beyond his duties, setting a remarkable standard for hospitality. The hotel's layout is thoughtfully designed, making navigation effortless for guests coming and going throughout their stay. Its pristine cleanliness and classical architecture create an atmosphere of refined luxury that perfectly complements its historical surroundings. Location-wise, the Grand Hotel Continental could not be better positioned. Stepping out of the main entrance, guests find themselves directly on Bucharest's main thoroughfare, with an abundance of restaurants, shops and cultural attractions within easy walking distance. The city's finest museums are mere minutes away, making it an ideal base for both leisure and business travellers. Whilst the breakfast was available, we found it rather expensive for what was offered. However, this was not an issue as we discovered a charming café directly across from the hotel that provided excellent morning fare at more reasonable prices. The rooms maintain the classical elegance found throughout the property, with comfortable furnishings and all modern amenities one would expect from a hotel of this calibre. The attention to detail in both the public spaces and private rooms reflects the hotel's commitment to maintaining its historic charm whilst providing contemporary comfort. In conclusion, the Grand Hotel Continental Bucuresti offers a superb hotel experience in the heart of Romania's capital. Despite the breakfast pricing, which is easily remedied by numerous nearby alternatives, the hotel's outstanding service, perfect location and classical charm make it a splendid choice for anyone visiting Bucharest. A truly commendable establishment that I would heartily recommend to fellow travellers.

Perfect base for a city trip to Bucharest! I stayed in a small single room. The room is indeed compact, but incredibly clean! It's thoroughly cleaned every day, and the tea bags and toiletries are also neatly refilled daily. The location is absolutely top-notch: the hotel is on a wonderfully quiet street, yet just a stone's throw away from the vibrant Old Town. This allows you to perfectly enjoy a night out and still get a good, peaceful night's sleep. The mattress is of very good quality; I slept wonderfully. A real recommendation for solo travelers!
