The location of the hotel is easy to find. The Dongfang City Cultural Plaza is across the road. The price is very affordable and they even provide a simple breakfast. There were quite a few problems with the hotel, especially that I happened to run into a ”Village BA” basketball game being held in the Cultural Square, with the loudspeakers blaring until 11:30 pm. The windows were not very soundproof, so the voices downstairs seemed very loud. I couldn't sleep, so I had to go out for a walk. But any evaluation should be based on how much it costs. The hotel is located right next to the old town, very close to Yulinzhou. The scenic spot itself is unmanaged and poorly maintained, quite unremarkable. We stayed in a suite this time, and its overall condition was pretty good. However, the air conditioning unit has a design flaw; it lacks a soundproof return air box, and the supply and return vents are too close, leading to excessive noise from the fan. Thankfully, the weather wasn't hot, so we could sleep with the AC off. Breakfast was decent. Considering the room rate, the early morning construction, starting around 8 am with a jackhammer no less, was disruptive. This was my first time discovering the Meihua Lizhi Hotel on this trip. The hotel has a parking lot, which is free and convenient for those traveling by car. When I called the front desk to request two bottles of water, they refused, saying they could only provide two bottles for a one-night stay. Perhaps they decided to have a robot deliver them to maintain a good review. Having traveled for over a month and stayed in numerous hotels and guesthouses, this is the only place that refused to provide two extra bottles of water. The cost of afternoon tea and a late-night snack far exceeds the cost of those few cents for a bottle of water; I don't understand.
