We're locals, and we were so busy during the May Day holiday that we squeezed in a vacation on the last day of our break. The rooms were all quite nice. Our two families booked a courtyard suite for a little over 5,000 yuan a night, specifically for the beautiful courtyard and the lovely indoor and outdoor fireplaces.
Service: The hotel staff were exceptionally good, always ready to help. They even brought us evening sweet soup and helped us order the fireplace in the courtyard.
Cleanliness: The room and common areas were very clean. However, I really want to complain about the breakfast. It was pre-ordered the day before, and most of the items were pre-made, like bread and buns. The worst was the mutton shaomai (steamed dumplings). We immediately noticed something was wrong; it tasted rancid because it had been stored for too long, which was disgusting. We complained to the staff, mainly because we didn't want other out-of-town guests to eat it, but the chef in the kitchen said, ”It's fine!” We were speechless 😓 After we finished eating, we saw other people who had just arrived already putting shaomai into their mouths.
