This hotel is super close to JR Station, and the breakfast is fantastic with a seafood rice bowl and unlimited melon – which would cost 500 yen for just an eighth of a piece in Japan! I took the ”Furano Biei Romantic Flower Tour” sightseeing bus at 8 AM, enjoyed the journey, and arrived at the last stop, the Shin Furano Prince Hotel's Ningle Terrace, around 4 PM. I got off there and checked directly into the Prince Hotel. This was a pre-planned arrangement based on my detailed research, saving me money, time, and hassle. After checking in, I booked the 8 PM buffet and then headed to the famous Garden of Wind. The scenery along the way was absolutely beautiful, and I even saw two deer. However, the Garden of Wind was a bit far from the hotel; it took me about an hour to walk there and back. By the time I got there, it was already closed, so I could only walk around the outside of the wire fence (which seemed to be electrified) to admire the small Garden of Wind. Then I returned to Ningle Terrace to continue my interrupted exploration. Since it was still early, I sat down for a coffee at the ”Mori no Tokei” (Forest Clock) cafe before leisurely heading back to the hotel. The evening buffet was incredibly rich, featuring hand-rolled sushi and king crab legs. I ordered a carafe of sake and slowly savored my dinner. After dinner, I went to Shisai-no-Yu to enjoy the hot spring. The next morning, I had planned to take the nearby cable car up the mountain for sightseeing, but there was fog on the mountain, and I knew I wouldn't see anything, so I gave up. Instead, I returned to the hotel and enjoyed another hot spring. After checking out, I took the Asahikawa Line bus to Furano Station to continue my journey. If the timing is right, taking this Asahikawa Line bus is very convenient as it can take you to Furano, or Nakafurano, Kamifurano, Biei, and finally to Asahikawa. However, the buses are infrequent, with only about one every hour. You'll need to check their timetable. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and the fare from the hotel to Furano Station is 260 yen.FromUS$102

Stayed two nights at this hostel. The room was clean and quite spacious. We were a little surprised that we had to put on the bed sheet liners ourselves, but we understood that it is part of the hostel’s culture and regulations, so it was fine for us.
The shared toilets were clean and well maintained for all guests. However, the main disappointment was that the hostel’s air conditioning was not working properly on the second night, unlike the first night. I had a wonderful stay at Chalet Burlap Furano (yes, this is their official name on Google map) and enjoyed their hospitality! The host is very friendly and kindly recommended what to do and visit in Furano. I had a great experience exploring Furano with Motorbike, recommended by my host Kuen! It is warm and cozy hostel and also got music shows after 9pm.

Room is spacious and for the price was a great deal (although noted I was visiting during shoulder season). Beautiful views of the mountain range from the hotel’s lounge on a clear day. I enjoyed the afternoon wine tastings. The muscat grape juice was also delicious! A very nice and relaxing stay at this hotel. 1. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the Kitanomine ski resort, just across the street. Ski rentals are available directly at the hotel, and there's a very enthusiastic young man from Taiwan who works there. The prices are also the cheapest, highly recommended.
2. Transportation: There's a direct bus from New Chitose Airport that stops right at the hotel entrance, making it a seamless journey. The bus stop for Biei and Asahikawa is directly opposite the hotel's main entrance, with a direct Lavender Bus service that accommodates luggage.
3. Dining: We booked breakfast and dinner. Breakfast has a 1-hour limit, and dinner has a 90-minute limit. Both breakfast and dinner were very rich and plentiful. Dinner even included BBQ, though the dishes didn't change daily. Beer and sake were all-you-can-drink.
4. Entertainment: The hotel offers free 24-hour beverage machines. There are also scheduled times daily for roasted marshmallows, baked potatoes, cookies, and beer time, which the kids really enjoyed. There's also a children's play area.
5. Room: We had a triple room. The room wasn't very big and was a bit dated, but the heating was excellent.

This air bnb-style apartment is simple and clean. Although the place is small, it is comfortable and cheaper than the new apartment hotel nearby. The location is actually quite good. Open the door and you will find the ski trail, which is very suitable for friends who love skiing. When we came to Furano in summer, we did not ski or take a car, but there is a bus stop outside the accommodation, from which we can take a bus to Nakafurano and Upper Furano to see lavender, which is very convenient. We go out by bus at 10:49 every day, and return to the hotel at 20:06 in the evening. You can buy wagyu, bread, etc. in the supermarket near the scenic spot and cook for yourself in the apartment, which is very convenient!FromUS$203
