Did not know it was a single bed and that was a big low factor for me. There were 2 pillows, so some improvement on other hotels I have been in recently. The location was excellent right off the main sqaure. The restaurant was on and handy if it rains. There were some ammenties, but couldn't find a hairdryer. The hotel is very conveniently located, which is definitely a plus. However, there are several issues that prevent it from truly living up to its five-star rating.
At check-in, we were not informed that parking was paid. As a result, after three days of stay, we were required to pay a rather significant amount at check-out, which came as an unpleasant surprise.
The rooms are generally comfortable and well equipped, but in the bathroom there were noticeable uncleaned areas and fingerprints on the faucets, indicating that housekeeping was not done thoroughly.
I would also like to specifically mention the breakfasts, which were a complete disappointment. From a five-star hotel belonging to an international chain, a very different standard is expected. The food was not fresh and appeared dried out (see photos), the selection did not change from day to day, there was almost no pastry, desserts were limited to just two items, and there were no vegetarian options at all, which seems strange for a hotel of this level.FromUS$171

Okay location, not really quiet rooms. Lots of running can be heard inside the room. Very small shower, inconsistent water temperature. Toilet seat mounted unreasonably high and uncomfortable. Quite old TV but in a weird position and blocked by the desk light. Very, very, VERY BAD BEDS. It felt like getting skewered in the ribcage! Unfortunately, our experience at Radisson Suites Gdańsk was disappointing. The staff felt quite unfriendly and even rude at times. Any request or small issue we asked for was met with zero willingness to help or find a solution. It honestly felt like there was no sense of hospitality at all, which was surprising for Poland, where people are usually much warmer.
The hotel itself is very standard, nothing special for a Radisson property. Since our room didn’t have a water view either, there was really nothing memorable or enjoyable about the stay. Overall, not a place I would choose againFromUS$59

The bed was supposed to be 1 and in the size of kingsize, unfortunately it turned out that it was 2 beds connected ...
This led to another problem- socket and light switches I had around my head-under the pillow. This caused me to turn on the light several times at night.

The hotel was well, with good views.There is a bar above and a restaurant below. Unfortunately, you didn't have to sit and enjoy a drink in the restaurant - so we went out to the city. The Polish are very restraint, yes they look directly acid all the time. And only a few were open and talkable. Maybe they are not so good to English? Breakfast was OK, there was no bacon and nutella. And only a slow coffee machine. But when it was filled up, everything was fine (it was supposed to come before 9 a.m. to get it all)FromUS$71

Very pleasant and comfortable hotel just off the Old Town of Gdansk. The rooms are spacious and very clean. An excellent breakfast is served, but the other meals are less overwhelming. For example, the Ceasar Salad I ordered had actually little in common with what a ceasar ought be. The most irritating experience occurred in the swimming pool. The hotel disposes of a beautiful swinning pool which I love to use. However, wwhen I arrived the first day, the pool was was occupied by some acqua gym group and in effect not available to hotel guests. This is totally inacceptable. Very central location, but only a 10 minute walk from main railway/ bus station. Room was large, had coffee/tea making facilities and a refrigerator. Clean throughout and option of fresh twels every day. Staff were polite and helpful. Didn't eat in the hotel, but menu looking appealing.
