Although it's been open for nearly ten years, all facilities and equipment are well-maintained. The service level is high, with all staff providing smiling and polite service. Janice from Guest Relations left a deep impression on me. Two days before check-in, she called to inquire about my approximate arrival time and added me on WeChat. Immediately after check-in, she sent me a travel guide and check-in instructions. During my stay, she frequently checked in on me, asked about my needs, provided weather forecasts, reminded me to bring an umbrella, and went out of her way to fulfill my requests. Even though we never met in person, when I checked out on the 55th floor, she accurately addressed me by my surname amidst the crowd at the elevator entrance, demonstrating strong professionalism and solid training. Lisa from the Executive Lounge was also very enthusiastic. The hotel breakfast was decent, but the Executive Lounge's Happy Hour offerings were excellent. The French pastries in the lounge were of a very high standard, and they also offered freshly mixed cocktails. The driveway at the hotel entrance is narrow, but the concierge staff calmly managed vehicle flow, loading and unloading luggage efficiently and without chaos. The hotel pays attention to service details; for example, there's a reminder at the guest room door to prevent guests from leaving items behind. I have two suggestions: firstly, for some reason, I couldn't find a night light in the guest room. Overall, for over 1500 a night, it's not worth it. The check-in experience was poor, and the hotel's service and attention to detail were completely inadequate, even an insult to a premium brand like Kempinski.
Front Desk Reception: Check-in was efficient. Staff member Cici proactively asked if we needed a non-smoking room. When a non-smoking room wasn't immediately available, she promptly arranged for us to wait in a lounge area, offered drinks, and helped with luggage storage. Once the room was ready, she personally came to the lounge to inform us instead of calling, then helped retrieve our luggage, accompanied us to the room, and even adjusted the air conditioning temperature. Her service was proactive and thoughtful throughout, anticipating every guest need. The process was standardized and commendable.
Concierge Service: Around 1:08 PM that day, upon arriving at the hotel entrance, a concierge saw me from a distance and proactively approached to take my luggage. He pushed the luggage and guided me to the front desk before leaving. The concierge demonstrated awareness in observing in advance, quick judgment, and proactive action. His strong service意识 (service consciousness) is commendable.
Restaurant Service: We ordered through the in-room QR code, and the order clearly stated ”2 diners,” but only two sets of spoons and chopsticks were provided, with no empty bowls. Even if only one bowl of rice was ordered, for two people dining, two empty bowls should be proactively provided; this is basic dining common sense, which the restaurant service completely lacked. We called to request empty bowls, but they sent a plate instead of a bowl, and the wait was long, requiring a reminder before it was delivered. The floor was so dirty it was ”unbearable to stand on.” The marble floor in the bathroom also had several colored stains from liquid seeping in, which had penetrated the stone. First, let me talk about Manager Mei'ao, who impressed me the most. That day, I accidentally navigated to the 'Yingbin Building' and was feeling a bit lost. Mei'ao proactively approached me. Upon learning I was checking into the VIP Building, she didn't just point the way. Instead, she smiled and said, 'I'll take you there.' She then accompanied me the entire way, explaining the layout of the two buildings and the hotel's features as we walked. Once we reached the VIP Building lobby, she assisted me with the check-in process, which was incredibly efficient. What's even more thoughtful is that after completing the formalities, she didn't stop there. She personally arranged for a staff member to escort me to my room and carefully informed me about the luggage delivery time.
