I had a fun trip to Gyeongju with my kids while staying at the Kolon Hotel for 3 days and 2 nights.
The children had a great time experiencing Gyeongju, where history is alive. We had an ondol room since the children were young, and it was nice because it was warm.
In the evening, it was nice to watch the sunset while drinking unlimited beer at Moonlight Pocha. The atmosphere and taste are good, so I think it would be a good idea to stop by.
My husband said the golf course here was pretty so he went to play golf in the morning.

I chose it for a family trip~ The hotel looked a bit aging, but it was clean and the staff were very friendly. The bathtub was a bit disappointing, but the silicon finishing process was a bit long, so I wish I could repair it again. But the location is really good and it's really good to travel to Gyeongju. I only used breakfast for one day, but the staff are very friendly, but the amount of ... was too small, so I was really sorry that I could hardly eat salmon salad. I stayed in a standard twin room with my brother. The room was quite spacious, and the location was great – we could walk to Hwanglidan-gil and there was a market nearby. The hotel front desk staff were incredibly friendly. For smokers, the rooftop is beautifully decorated, so it would be perfect to enjoy a cup of coffee and relax when the weather is nice, especially from April to June. If I ever come to Gyeongju again, I'd definitely revisit, 200%! Parking is available on the first floor, but if it's full, you can use the nearby public parking lot for free. Rooms are spacious and the lake view is stunning. Breakfast is extremely varied and tasty, but the pastry section is to be avoided.
To move around it would have been better to have a car, but taxis are easy to order.
The slippers were the lowest quality we encountered on this trip, the other amenities were ok.
The main downside has been the cleanliness. While surfaces could definitely have used some more cleaning, the bedsheets weren't supposed to be changed unless specifically asked, according to their green police. But the changed them anyways and lost my pijama pants. Reception did what they could to locate them, but they couldn't find them after 3 days. Extremely disappointing for a hotel of that caliber. Gyeongju Silla Boutique Hotel
The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Gyeongju.
And the breakfast is delicious too! I had it all three days of my stay and never got tired of it; I really enjoyed every meal.
The amenities are fantastic. I made good use of the massage chair. My child enjoyed the play facilities, spending time in the kids' cafe and playing board games. It felt like a really wholesome family time, which was lovely.
The landscaping is beautiful. Plus, there's a Daiso and an SPAO right next to the hotel, which was super convenient for grabbing anything we needed or even buying clothes when I ran out of outfits.
It's truly an optimal location! Oh, and there's a convenience store and a coffee shop too – they really have everything.

The swimming pool facilities and operation were quite disappointing. Even though they were charging peak season rates, they were conducting construction on the pool, so the water was dirty and a lot of dust was flying around, which was very disconcerting. The location is great! It's very convenient to get here from Busan Haeundae by intercity bus, taking just over an hour, and then it's a short walk to the hotel after getting off. The hotel is located near the intercity bus terminal, with many bus routes available. You can take a direct bus to Daereungwon Tomb Complex and Hwanglidan-gil Road, or walk there in about twenty minutes.
My favorite part is having a McDonald's and a Twosome Place coffee shop right next door, which is super convenient for breakfast.
The hotel room is very spacious, and the bathroom is incredibly huge. The shower has great water pressure. The soundproofing in the room could be a bit better, and the ventilation isn't perfect, so you might need to open a window. They provided bath salts separately, so I soaked my whole body.
I left midway through, but when I came back, they cleaned everything thoroughly,
