The location is excellent, surrounded by shopping malls, restaurants, and public transportation, all within a few minutes’ walking distance.
However, the room did not meet expectations. Although I booked an Executive Wide Single Room (double bed), both the room and bathroom were quite small. The bed was also too small for a couple, making the stay less comfortable.
During the winter season, the hotel operates on heating mode only, so the air conditioning cannot be used for cooling. While a fan is provided, it may not be sufficient for guests who prefer cooler room temperatures.
The hotel offers basement parking for 2000 yen for a two-night stay, which allows unlimited entry and exit. However, guests must present the parking ticket at the reception each time they return for validation. Unfortunately, the service from the night shift receptionist was unsatisfactory. Each time we handed over our parking ticket, we had to explain about the parking arrangement, while we observed that another local family was able to proceed without any questions. The main reason I chose this place was the price. Staying three nights over Chinese New Year for under 1000 yen total is incredible value for money. However, Hachioji is really far from central Tokyo. If you plan on going to the city center daily, I'd highly recommend getting a JR Pass and reserving seats on the limited express Chuo Line for specific times each day, otherwise you'll be standing for almost an hour during the morning and evening rush hours. As for the hotel itself, it's a standard business hotel – no frills, no extensive facilities or services. It's less than a ten-minute walk from the South Exit of Hachioji Station. Hachioji is a well-developed satellite city, so you won't have any trouble finding places to eat and drink around the JR station. It's a very convenient and comfortable option if you're planning to visit nearby Mount Takao.FromUS$37

Easy check-in and a convenient location that's easy to find. Plenty of dining options and shops nearby. The front desk staff spoke English fluently, which was a great help. The bed was comfortable and the shower had excellent water pressure. The room was clean and tidy. They also have a laundry room and an ice machine. There's a convenience store right downstairs. I stayed here with my daughter. From the outside, it looked a bit dated, but the restrooms and bathrooms were newly renovated, so they were clean and tidy.

This is a great location for people looking to hike Mt. Takao. You will need to use a taxi to get to and from the train station though. The staff was very kind and supplied us with cans of coffee whenever they saw us lol! One of the owners even gave us a ride to Mt. Takao when we asked for him to call us a taxi. The rooms are motel style and very spacious.
Be aware this is an ex love hotel so it does have a slightly creepy vibe, I wouldn’t bring minors to this hotel to be honest. (I also turned on the TV in the bath which was a bit of a scare!) The accommodation was so much better than what I thought! It's spacious and comfortable with the window view of the trees and 5 minute walk from the train station and Mt Takao trail. Youhei who greeted us at reception was outstanding in his customer service, he explained there would be vegan breakfast served daily as I put a request for vegan and didn't get a response that there would be vegan breakfast and he gave us tips on how to use the amenities here and how to communicate to the restaurant staff about our request. We enjoyed the bonfire and cooking corn which tasted amazing. The feedback I would give is the young Japanese woman who served us for dinner on the first night on Friday 12th July at 8pm, she was very quick to get the bill and take the money without being patient and focused, it felt like we we're not welcomed.
