Binjiang Area Hangzhou|8.67km from city center
Came to Binjiang for a late-night dog walk and to pet some dogs. The hotel location is great, with delicious Ouji Food Stall and Sister Zhou's Chicken Rack nearby. After check-in, the hotel upgraded my room. The room was very clean. I informed the hotel I have rhinitis, and they even turned on the air purifier in the room beforehand. The front desk staff and the cleaning aunties were all very friendly and responsive to requests. The only minor issue is that the robot delivery service can sometimes be a bit slow, so you might need to wait patiently. During my stay, entering and exiting the parking lot was easy; just contact the front desk with your license plate number. There are dedicated hotel parking spaces on B2 and a Tesla Supercharger on B1. There's also a NIO Power Swap Station outside the building, making it super convenient for getting around.

The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom had no strange odors, and the hot water came on very quickly. The front desk attendant checked me in within minutes. The hallway was quiet and not noisy at all. The location was easy to find, and it was convenient to go out for meals and shopping. Downstairs, there were various convenience stores and small restaurants, so the amenities were complete. There were also enough power outlets for charging. It offers great value for money, with no hidden fees. My overall experience exceeded expectations, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling!

Linping New Town Hangzhou|15.81km from city center
Because I worked near Josi, I chose this hotel. The arrival time on the same day was already late at night. I made a note on Ctrip, I hope it is a non-smoking room. The high floor is far from the elevator. The hotel well recognized my needs and was very enthusiastic about upgrading. Considering that I didn't book breakfast, I also gave a free breakfast. Thank you very much. Back to the topic, let's talk about the hotel's own stay experience. To be honest, it's not a last resort, I haven't stayed for a long time. Domestic non-chain brands also have 1 point before check-in. Actually, I think I should give a good price rating. First of all, I think the size of the room is OK, not crowded, and the equipment and facilities are very complete. The facilities are also very easy to use and no defects are found. Sleeping well all night. The breakfast the next morning, I think it should be praised, whether it is the variety. Or the service of the restaurant makes people feel like a spring breeze. Finally, I want to say two small flaws. First of all, the glass in the shower room is too dirty and has been covered with pulp. A little point is deducted here. Secondly, the cold dish cold mixing area of the breakfast room. There are some cold dishes. Unable to clamp, it means that the ice may be too long. The above two small suggestions are that the hotel can improve immediately at low cost. Finally, I want to say a little extra topic. I understand the hotel very much. Need to be praised on a third-party platform. But I personally don't accept it. The active invitation-style way to give praise. It is even more unacceptable to let customers comment according to the wishes of the hotel in a rewarding way. Of course, this is my pure personal feeling. The overall flaw of the hotel is not concealed, it is still recommended to stay, especially in the Josi area. Is a good choice.

The hotel is quite nice. The lobby is a bit cramped, but it doesn't affect the stay. The room was very spacious; I specifically booked a room type with a huge desk and a massive window view. Anyone working or drawing would be thrilled with this desk. The hotel's toiletries are distinctive and smell wonderful, with two different scented shower gels. The breakfast was delicious, especially the meat sauce next to the noodles and wontons – it was really good with the noodles. The cleanliness was excellent, and the soundproofing was good. When ordering takeout, a robot delivered it to the door. The hotel gym has several types of equipment, including regular treadmills and multi-sized dumbbells for strength training.

West Lake Lakeside Area Hangzhou|1.43km from city center
True to its reputation as a seasoned star-rated hotel, the service here is excellent. The rooms are spotless, and the location is superb. It's right by Exit B of Metro Line 1, just a few minutes' walk from West Lake. The staff proactively gave us directions to Lingyin Temple – you just turn right out of the hotel and take the 103 bus directly there in three minutes. The Wulin Night Market is also nearby, and there's a lovely rooftop garden. We booked a standard room, and the 1.35m single beds were very spacious. When the front desk saw we were a family of three, they offered an extra set of toiletries and slippers and even upgraded us to a scenic room with a view of West Lake! Luggage storage was also handled very responsibly. All in all, it was a perfect stay, highly recommended!

West Lake Lakeside Area Hangzhou|1.32km from city center
This is a hotel I really love. It's an old five-star hotel, and while it might not be as shiny and new as it once was, its location is incredibly convenient. The rooms are huge and come with all the amenities you could ask for. West Lake is just a short walk across the street, there are plenty of great restaurants nearby, and the night market is vibrant and dazzling, offering so much to see. What's really thoughtful is that food deliveries are brought to your room by a robot! There are two areas I hope can be improved: 1. I booked a non-smoking room, but when I first entered, I could still smell smoke. It might be absorbed into the carpet or walls from previous guests. As a five-star hotel, couldn't they require guests to maintain a smoke-free stay throughout? This would better preserve the room's cleanliness and hygiene, and also prevent safety hazards. 2. Could self-service laundry facilities be provided? Most hotels in China now offer self-service laundry, which we're happy to pay for. Sending individual items for washing is really inconvenient. Plus, the online booking mentioned self-service laundry, but when I arrived, I was told it wasn't available. Fortunately, the kind young staff at the front desk saw my predicament and helped resolve the issue. Overall, the minor flaws don't detract from its greatness, and I will definitely stay here again!

I booked this windowless standard room for the 1.35m bed. Aside from the lighting being a bit dim and insufficient, everything else was great. The facilities and cleanliness were spot on. They had turned on the AC before my check-in, so the room felt fresh when I walked in, with no strange odors. It's very close to West Lake and in77 by foot. The room was quiet, and the location was convenient and lively.

West Lake Lakeside Area Hangzhou|2.52km from city center
Traveling to Hangzhou with my family, I chose this hotel because the twin beds could be pushed together, so I booked a standard room. The location is excellent, just a few hundred meters from Longxiang Bridge and very close to West Lake. The hotel's rooftop is also a hidden gem, perfect for photos with direct views of West Lake. When we checked in, I casually asked if the two beds could be combined. A gentleman standing nearby (I'm not sure if he was a supervisor) told me, 'No need to combine them, we'll upgrade you to a suite with three beds.' (I actually had an upgrade benefit already, but I didn't expect to be upgraded to a suite directly!) The room facilities are a bit dated, but it was quite clean, and the staff were very polite. I'll definitely choose to stay here again when I come back to Hangzhou.

West Lake Lakeside Area Hangzhou|2.61km from city center
This is, hands down, the best value-for-money hotel I've ever stayed at in Hangzhou. Seriously, it's unrivaled. Absolutely unrivaled. First, let's talk about the location: Turn right out the door, and you're just ten minutes from West Lake (and the musical fountain), and eight minutes from the bustling downtown area (Intime Department Store). It's truly a quiet oasis amidst the city's hustle and bustle. There are other hotels like Atour, All Seasons, and Friendship Hotel nearby. Dining options are also abundant, with restaurants of all sizes and price points. The surroundings are beautiful, absolutely fantastic! Now, for the service: In one word, excellent! The doorman proactively helped with our luggage, and the young lady at the front desk was so enthusiastic and helpful. Coincidentally, there was an available suite, and she upgraded us without us even asking (the value for money was insane!). They even gave us two complimentary souvenir gifts! The housekeeping staff also brought us a sweet white fungus and lotus seed soup. I honestly felt like the hotel was losing money on us! Cleanliness: At first, I thought, being an older five-star hotel, it might not be super clean. I was wrong. It was impeccably clean; you couldn't tell it was an older establishment at all! Facilities: The facilities are free of unnecessary gimmicks (no voice control, for instance). The light switches are straightforward and functional, very simple and practical without being confusing. If I had to pick a flaw, it would be that the TV picture quality wasn't as good as my TV at home. The biggest advantage, however, is the price, price, PRICE! For such a prime location and a hotel of this caliber, it didn't even start with a '3' (meaning under 300 RMB if you forgo breakfast, or just over 300 with breakfast)! This is absolutely the best value-for-money hotel I've ever stayed at in Hangzhou (and possibly even nationwide)! One more thing: The breakfast was also very generous, with both Chinese and Western options, and it ran from 6 AM to 10 AM! It's also the earliest breakfast I've seen at any hotel (including express and business hotels), hands down! In summary, this hotel is an absolute steal, and it's my go-to whenever I visit Hangzhou from now on!

Traveling to Hangzhou, I specifically chose a hotel close to West Lake, trusting the quality of the well-established Sofitel brand. My stay certainly didn't disappoint. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and asked about my preferences, arranging a room for me on the highest floor where I could catch a glimpse of West Lake. There's also an outdoor platform with panoramic views of the lake. The room upheld Accor's quality standards – it was spacious, bright, and clean. Although the facilities were a bit older, they were well-maintained and had everything I needed. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough, and it was a bonus to have a small window that could open, a blessing for those who dislike stuffy rooms 😃. It's incredibly close to West Lake, just across an underpass, and located at Yongjin Gate. Within a few hundred meters, there are two ferry terminals, and a sightseeing bus is available after 9 PM, which is very convenient. It's also much quieter than the Longxiang area, not far from In77, and only 300 meters from Intime for easy shopping. The delivery robot was super fast with takeout. Unfortunately, I'm on a diet, so I didn't get to try the hotel breakfast, but I'll make sure to next time!

The Little Yellow Duck-themed room was beautifully decorated, and our child absolutely loved it! The butler service was incredibly warm (Emma & Doris). The front desk and concierge staff were also very welcoming, proactively helping us with our luggage and showing us to our room. The housekeeping staff on the 6th floor were also very friendly. There was a plentiful supply of drinking water and apples, which our child enjoyed. Shangri-La Hotel truly lives up to its reputation as a classic grand hotel – the quality is guaranteed, and we felt right at home. It left a wonderful impression on us!!

The self-service vending machine next to the elevator on the first floor is incredibly practical; I suggest moving it to a more prominent spot in the lobby to make it even more convenient for guests. The food delivery robot was efficient and quick, and the breakfast selection was extensive. It would be even better if breakfast hours could be extended until 10:30 AM. The in-room Dyson hairdryer was fantastic, and the air conditioning was very comfortable. When there was noise interference from municipal repairs downstairs at night, the duty manager, Robber, responded quickly and handled the situation very effectively. As a classic luxury hotel brand, the Grand Hyatt's end-to-end service consistently maintains a genuinely warm core. It has retained its high standards over the years, and the service depth and professionalism of such a well-established hotel are simply irreplaceable. An old Ferrari is still a Ferrari, after all!
