For most travelers, Zhangjiakou Ningyuan Airport (ZQZ) is the most practical gateway to Huailai, as it is located in the neighboring city of Zhangjiakou and offers the fastest, most affordable rail connections. Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX) and Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) are major international hubs situated in Beijing; they are significantly further away and require multi-modal journeys involving urban subway transfers and high-speed rail lines to reach the Hebei region. While these airports offer the widest variety of international flight paths, travelers must account for the substantial ground transit time from Beijing into the mountainous terrain where Huailai is situated. Datong Yungang International Airport (DAT) serves the neighboring city of Datong and is generally a secondary choice unless traveling from within Shanxi Province. For the best experience, we recommend using high-speed rail whenever possible, as it bypasses the regional highway traffic that can frequently impact bus and taxi travel times. Always verify your train connection times at your arrival station, as local schedules are subject to periodic seasonal adjustments.

Breakfast

The hotel's facilities are generally good, and the breakfast is also excellent, plus the price is affordable. However, this time I encountered a company called 'Beifang Dalu' holding an event here. There were so many people, and the smoke smell was overwhelming. As soon as I checked in with my luggage, I ran into them all leaving a meeting, and everyone was crowding the elevators. With my suitcase, I couldn't even compete and had to wait for a very long time. Upon reaching the 5th floor, it was also full of their people, and it was extremely noisy. The next morning, they started making noise again around 7 AM, shouting loudly in the hallway. I really hope the hotel can separate individual guests from large groups in the future, or at least inform guests before check-in. If I had known, I might have chosen a different hotel. It really affected my stay and quality of rest too much.

Wanyue Hotel, the original Huailai Hotel, the decoration of the rooms is relatively old, the stay is okay, the service is really not up to par, the room booked by Ctrip even includes breakfast, it can be wrong, when it comes to breakfast, it is the most annoying Yes, the price of the meal for 68 is estimated to be 6.8 yuan, which can only be one fried dough stick, two eggs and a bowl of porridge. There is nothing to eat. I reported it to the front desk and told them not to tell them and to report it to the restaurant. To push the envelope, the waiters in the restaurant all had their hands in their pockets, giving off a sense of ownership. It really could only be regarded as a place to live.

I stayed at this hotel when I came to Huailai, and this time it felt like it was going downhill. The hotel is so large and has been open for a long time; the equipment should be gradually replaced and updated. The air conditioner is old, noisy, and can't be adjusted manually. The quality and variety of breakfast have declined rapidly. The service was rather curt. It's summer, and everyone needs plenty of water, but the hotel only provides regular bottled water. I called around 8 PM to request delivery, they promised, but no one delivered it. More than an hour later, I went to the front desk to ask why. They told me they only provide two bottles a day, and any more would cost 5 yuan per bottle. I asked, ”What kind of bottled water is that expensive?” Does the hotel not make its profit from bottled water? They later agreed to deliver one bottle, but it still hadn't arrived by 10 PM. I called the front desk again, and they said it had been delivered. I said, ”If it's delivered, why would I need to call?” The front desk then told me to contact the delivery department. Does the hotel really need its own staff to handle internal issues? This is the first time I've ever been so annoyed! Of course, I understand that hotels have their rules, but they can't be unrealistic. In summer, when people drink more water, there should be adjustments or measures in place (I don't know if the hotel has such a rule; if so, it might be for cost management convenience). However, if this affects customer needs or leaves customers with no choice, I believe the hotel isn't trying to sell bottled water, and customers aren't asking for more. What problem does this reflect in the hotel? I hope the management understands this. Also: please pay attention to the issue of smoking control in indoor public areas.

Business travel accommodation experience ✨ 🏨 Overall evaluation The hotel selected for this business trip really exceeded expectations! Service and facilities are given 4 stars 🌟, the price is absolutely perfect ~ Stayed for 3 days and felt as comfortable as going home. The workers were on a business trip and the party closed its eyes to the series! 💁 Service highlights - The front desk lady is super gentle, check-in is done in seconds, and she also took the initiative to upgrade the quiet floor 🌙 - Room service responds quickly, and the charger is sent to 🔌 within 10 minutes after asking for two times. - Every day, the room is cleaned and the slippers are arranged in the shape of a small sun. The details control means that a book is satisfied. 🛏️ Room Facilities - The mattress is just soft and hard, and lie down and sleep directly in seconds after working overtime (usually recognize the bed star ecstasy!) - The desk is oversized, there is no pressure to put laptop + file + coffee cup, the office party gospel 💻 - The shower water pressure is super sufficient, the hot water comes quickly, and the whole person has been revitalized in water after the shower. 💡 Small Suggestions It would be perfect if you could provide free laundry service ~ But overall it is very good, and I will stay here next time! #Business travel essential #Hotel recommendation #Worker accommodation

Stayed in the same room for 3 nights (I didn't change rooms because I was used to disinfecting the room when I checked in). Except for the old facilities, the shower room didn't drain smoothly and there was water accumulation at the door, everything else was fine. The outdoor courtyard pool is pet-friendly.

The hotel is in the real estate, on the edge, less than ten minutes walk from the owner's canteen, supermarket, cafe, downstairs is the net red rainbow trail (the actual trail can be 10 meters? ?) There is no occupancy rate in the real estate, and the overall maintenance is average. Constellation suites and front desks are not on the same floor, there is access control, enter the password. The Aries Suite window faces north, the room is very large, the two bedrooms are connected by the foyer and the bathroom area, which is equivalent to two and walking paths. The room was very clean. The only suggestion was that the bedroom and hall bathroom should still be designed with a door. Now the bedroom where you get on and off the bed can pull a curtain, but it is not soundproof. This room type is likely to be a family of three generations or two friends. It is really inconvenient to pull the curtain in the bedroom, and it is not soundproof and not privacy. The hotel's peripheral facilities are also old, the entrance pool is not maintained, the fake moon + dirty glass fence feels difficult to produce film, the online picture p is great The breakfast room is downstairs in the Constellation Suite, Chinese style, steamed buns, steamed buns, porridge, coarse grain staple food The package said that it included various activities, but in fact, the hotel did not have any activities. It said that the activities were in the community, and most of them were charged, but they didn't see anything in the community. You don't have to come to live specially. If the picture people visit the surrounding attractions of Guanting Reservoir, you can come to live by the way.

I was a little nervous when I booked a B&B for the first time, but I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in. It is not a purely private B&B, but a rural-style accommodation managed by a company. The rooms are relatively new, clean and sanitary, suitable for a comfortable and relaxing health tour for parents and children. Enjoy the sunshine and countryside in the room, and there is a playground suitable for children. A large yard is also convenient for parking.

The room is very clean and the sanitary conditions are very good. The toilet cover, face towels, bath towels and towels prepared by the landlord are disposable, and slippers are also disposable. The landlord is very enthusiastic and the service is timely and thoughtful. We need to add quilts and the landlord will prepare them before moving in. On the day of check-in, the landlord informed us early in the morning that we could check in early, so as soon as we arrived at the local area in the morning, we checked in first, put down our luggage and then went out to play. The landlord asked many times what other requirements were there, and took the initiative to introduce the surrounding places to eat and play. Very good stay experience at a homestay. Next time I go to Huailai, I will stay at her house. I feel that the surrounding area is not popular. It would be better if the nearby commercial facilities were more mature.

The most commendable thing is Qingpu Ruiyun's butler-style service and catering. The staff are all very friendly and like family. The housekeeper Xiao Xu would walk back to the room with us after dinner, and would watch us leave in the car when we were leaving. If you have any needs, just mention them in the WeChat group and they will be responded to and solved immediately. The daily arts and cultural activities are also very attentive. Intangible cultural heritage inheritors are invited to teach. We order one meal and one activity, and the remaining meal is ordered in the restaurant. The ingredients are good and the taste is good. The breakfast is indeed a bit simple, but the quality of the ingredients is good, especially the fried dough sticks, which was praised by everyone. The hotel is in a winery and is very quiet. However, because the area is relatively large, the management of landscaping is not easy, so some details can be improved. In addition, the items in the room can be enriched, such as preparing some tea sets, simple dinner plates, knives and forks. This will make it more convenient for vacationing guests. Because there are no commercial facilities around, it would be more convenient if there were simple food vending cabinets in the hotel.

Wonderful hotel and stay. Not too far by car from the train station, but a bit isolated and no restaurants outside within easy walking distance. The hotel has restaurants in the main building which served excellent dinner. The hot spring was nice though the water was not very hot. Amenities were clean and complete, very satisfactory. The only issue if you have your window open is there are rain tracks relatively nearby and the noise from passing trains can be a bit irritating. Overall an enjoyable and relatively recently priced stay. Would return.

I recently visited Huailai and chose this hotel. The experience was truly wonderful! Upon entering, the front desk staff was welcoming and professional. Check-in was quick and smooth, and they provided helpful information about the hotel facilities and nearby attractions. My impression of the hotel was instantly positive! The room was spacious and bright, with a warm and comfortable decor. The bedding was soft and clean, instantly washing away any travel fatigue. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, and the toiletries were high-quality. The breakfast was varied, fresh, and delicious, making it a great start to the day. The hotel is also incredibly conveniently located, not far from nearby attractions, and is surrounded by restaurants, shopping, and taxis. The overall service was attentive and thoughtful, and the value for money was exceptional. I'd stay here again and recommend it to friends!

This is the third room I have stayed in at San San Gu Yu. As soon as I entered the room, I was pleasantly surprised to find an unusual welcome gift on the coffee table, including local specialty wine, a rich fruit platter, and a warm and thoughtful check-in greeting, which reflects the sincerity, care and attentiveness of the hotel and the housekeeper. The clean and comfortable rooms, carefully arranged items and dolls here make us happy and relaxed. I hope to experience more room types of San San Gu Yu in the future...
