However, the service was disappointing. I contacted them beforehand to discuss my needs, but it was all just talk; nothing was actually done. Upon check-in, the front desk smiled and assured me it was a non-smoking room, saying there were no ashtrays. However, upon entering, I found ashtrays prominently displayed, and people were smoking in the opposite and next-door rooms with their doors open. A follow-up call revealed that the hotel doesn't actually have non-smoking rooms. They could have simply been honest and left the choice to the guests. The soundproofing was terrible; the roar of airplanes flying overhead and conversations from next door were clearly audible. The breakfast restaurant was extremely small, shared by two buildings. It opened at 7 am, and even arriving around 7 am, there were no seats available if you didn't want to share a table. When the staff shook out their dishcloths while clearing away the dishes, they were criticized by guests at the next table. Honestly, I chose this hotel hoping for a comfortable stay and good service. If these weren't provided, I wouldn't choose to stay here. The design of this Elsa room isn't very cohesive. The air conditioner is installed on the balcony and conflicts with the curtains. If you hang the curtains, the AC unit gets blocked. If you don't hang them, the window faces directly towards the bed, and opposite are other buildings. Parking is a hit or miss. The gym is also across the street, making the overall experience not very convenient. However, for families with many people looking for more space and beds, it can accommodate four people comfortably. Although we didn't use the second-floor cottage this time, I noticed the duvet wasn't made; both the duvet and pillows were messy. The front desk service was excellent. The hotel security didn't help with luggage (of course, it's not like they were short-staffed, nor do I know if it's their responsibility, but I'm basing this judgment on standard practice at other hotels). During the four-day research trip in Hailar, the hotel I stayed at gave me a stay that far exceeded my expectations, becoming a warm and bright color on this trip.

When I proposed that I hope to disinfect the fabric sofa, the hotel immediately arranged for the person in charge to deal with it. I casually mentioned that the room lacks a desk for office work. In a short time, the staff not only sent the desk, but also prepared the plug-in row. Then I told the hotel that my graduate students were coming and needed the same arrangement, and they not only happily agreed, but also arranged my students in my door room, which was commendable.

This was the most satisfying hotel I stayed at during my trip to Hulunbuir. It's really not easy to find a standardized, high-end hotel in Enhe, a place filled with simple log cabins. It's owned by a Shanghai businessman. It's definitely different. City dwellers are more suited to this kind of hotel. I really can't get used to log cabins.
