Not sure why this is a 5-star hotel. The amenities are just okay and the room has more of a 3-star feel. The AC did not work well - we woke up feeling very hot in the middle of the night even though we set the AC to the lowest temperature. On the last night, water was leaking from the ceiling near the AC which just confirmed our experience. We told the concierge and they just put some towels in the ceiling to absorb the water (as a temporary fix?). Hope they permanently fixed it by now.FromUS$145

I had a wonderful stay at Conrad Istanbul Bosphorus. The location is excellent, offering beautiful views of the Bosphorus and easy access to key areas in the city. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a stunning view that made the stay even more enjoyable.

Hotel is having a good first impression. Two things were below our expectation. When we arrived after midnight the room was not ready and they needed to call the housekeeping to first have the 3rd bed installed.
Secondly the room size. It mentions 25m2 but they had difficulty to fit the extra bed next to the double so placed it in front.

My husband and I booked a room for one day when we flew in for a concert! It took us an hour to get there from the airport by taxi. Check-in was quick. The room was clean and spacious! Bottled water was available in the mini-bar! There were no toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, bar soap, sponges), which was a bit surprising for a hotel of this caliber. A metro station, Starbucks, and a mini-supermarket are all within a 10-minute walk! Breakfast wasn't very diverse, but you could find basic European staples. Overall, a good impression! I booked a room with a Bosphorus view. The view was truly impressive; even though it was a partial view, I had the Bosphorus on one side and a great park view on the other. The service was excellent, and room cleaning also gets a solid five stars. The hotel itself exudes an atmosphere of Turkish hospitality and luxury. After we arrived, the service staff was very enthusiastic and strongly recommended us to go to another hotel, saying that the room was bigger and better, and closer to the tourist attractions. Hotel is on a great location. Amazing cafe and restaurants by walking distance and few tourists spots on walking discuss the rest by public transport very easy to commute. Hotel had a great vintage vibe with amazing staff working always smiling and their eager to provide customer service is exceptional. Guest relationship officer his name was saif who helped me throughout my stay and guided us marvellously which made our trip smooth and the way he talks with respectful tone I was amazed.

The rooms were, as always, very comfortable, and the bathroom system was excellent. The hotel view was also beautiful, especially from the breakfast restaurant, in the innermost corner, where you can see the strait – truly a delightful breakfast experience. If I had to pick a downside, it would be the surprisingly strict security check to enter The Ritz-Carlton in Istanbul, where both people and bags have to be scanned! I later found out that many diplomats stay here… so… you get it. The hotel provided various chocolates, as shown in the picture. The toiletries cost 45 Euros per bottle if you take them home, but you can use them freely inside the hotel. There were many old maps of Istanbul in the hallway, and my child spent a long time studying them with great interest.FromUS$356
