For travelers heading to Jiangkou, choices depend on the balance of travel convenience and regional proximity. The closest gateway is Tongren Fenghuang Airport (TEN), which serves the city of Tongren and is a primary domestic hub for the region; it offers the fastest ground transfer times, making it ideal for those seeking to minimize transit. Huaihua Zhijiang Airport (HJJ) in Huaihua is a budget-friendly alternative with extensive connections, though it requires a longer transfer journey. Tongren Dejiang Airport (DEJ) provides access to northern Guizhou areas, while Zunyi Xinzhou Airport (ZYI) is a modern facility that serves Zunyi but is significantly further away. Finally, Xiangxi Biancheng Airport (DXJ) serves the Xiangxi region and is best suited for visitors combining their Jiangkou trip with explorations of ancient regional sites. None of these airports are located within Jiangkou itself; all serve neighboring cities. Travelers should prioritize the airport closest to their final specific activity—such as Fanjingshan—rather than the city center alone, as transport networks are tailored to tourist sites.

I looked at many hotels before finally choosing this one for my trip to Fanjingshan. The hotel is a little over an hour's drive from Tongren Railway Station, which was very convenient as I took a taxi from Tongren. It's a ten-minute walk from Fanjingshan, and the hotel offers a shuttle service. It's a garden-style hotel with a nice environment. Since it wasn't peak season, the hotel proactively upgraded my room upon arrival. The room was spacious, and the bedding was comfortable. The room I stayed in the second night had a bathtub, which was very relaxing after hiking. Perfect for a vacation. The hotel also thoughtfully provided us with hiking gloves and offered to bring raincoats when the weather was bad – very considerate! Overall, I highly recommend it and give it a thumbs up!

This is the first time I've ever felt compelled to write a review, which just goes to show how thoughtful the owner is! The guesthouse, from its location to its decor, is truly tasteful. The service is incredibly attentive, reflected in all the subtle details. It's not just polite courtesy; they genuinely anticipate your needs. If I ever go with my family again, I'd definitely choose this place. So many friends have already asked me which guesthouse it is just from seeing my WeChat Moments photos – when something's good, I'm happy to recommend it! Wishing the owner a booming business. However, I do have one small suggestion: both my friend and I stayed in separate rooms, and we both felt the only minor drawback was the pillows. They were too soft and not very supportive, which isn't ideal for people with neck issues. Perhaps a batch of slightly firmer pillows could be considered.

The hillside guesthouse felt like a warm welcome home after a long, tiring day at work. Even before arriving, the owner contacted me to remind me to buy tickets, offering plenty of advice and hiking tips, along with transportation information. There was no need to plan anything here; everything was taken care of – food, accommodation, transportation, and entertainment. Upon arrival, the housekeeper warmly helped with our luggage, and the owner greeted us enthusiastically, like old friends even though we'd never met before. After check-in, we were immediately offered sparkling water, iced coffee, and welcome fruit. The air conditioning was already on, and the room was clean and hygienic, with a small courtyard for easy access. Breakfast wasn't as lavish as a hotel meal, but it was delicious: minced meat rice noodles, fried eggs, steamed corn bread, steamed corn, and millet cakes – the taste was unlike anything you'd find in a pre-made meal. They even packed up the leftovers for us to take hiking. After breakfast, the owner drove us to the scenic area in his Porsche. The scenic area was only 1 kilometer from the guesthouse, but he insisted on driving us there, saying parking would be inconvenient late at night. He also offered to pick us up on the way back, but we took a taxi – very convenient indeed. What surprised me most when we returned to the guesthouse after our hike was the foot bath tub they had provided. We sat in the pavilion, sipping tea and soaking our feet – it was incredibly relaxing. I'll definitely come back and recommend it to my friends. Goodbye!

We originally booked a single room, but the front desk manager saw that there were two children at home, so he upgraded us to a standard room. You can also drink tea, and there are 4 bottles of free mineral water. I like drinking tea. I checked out the vine tea and it tasted good. I was prepared to say that the mineral water was not enough. I bought 2 bottles and called the front desk. They actually gave me 2 more bottles for free. It was very heart-warming. When I went to the room, I saw it and it was beyond compare. Imagine that the hotel is very new and clean. The attitude of the waiters is also very good. The breakfast is also very complete. Especially the omelette is delicious. The noodles are also very OK. It is also close to Fanjingshan Park. All in all, it is a very satisfying experience. Highly recommended. The key is to stay here. There is also an underground garage, which is free.

This guesthouse is incredibly charming and tastefully decorated. The rooms are beautifully furnished, and the breakfast spread is generous. The small river outside is picturesque, and there's even a jogging path, perfect for a post-dinner stroll. The butler service was exceptionally warm and attentive – highly commendable! 👍 It's also very conveniently located, just a 20-minute drive from Fanjing Mountain. Definitely recommended!

The room was not fully occupied (you can tell whether the room is plugged in by the doorbell). At the beginning, I was given a room opposite the utility room. The door was only one meter away from the other. The lock was pried open and there were only two small black holes. I pushed the door open with courage and saw that the door was a mess and it was pitch black inside. I asked to change rooms, but the front desk said there was none available. I asked again and again, and they said there was another room available. The charging cable in the room is free for 1 minute😂 The restaurant is cold

This is a really nice boutique hotel. The proprietress is incredibly kind. Worried we wouldn't find it, she waited downstairs early. She was always smiling, helped with our luggage, and even offered to upgrade my mom's room. The folk-style design is thoughtful, the room is beautiful, and incredibly clean (just my style, anyway). The most touching thing was the next morning, when the proprietress saw my mom was alone in her room and hadn't had breakfast, she offered to bring her own breakfast. My mom was so touched... If I ever go back to Jiangkou, I'll definitely stay at your place again. I'll also recommend it to friends. [Strong][Strong] The kittens are so adorable too [snickering]

The store is very warm and considerate, give it a thumbs up 👍🏻. The air-conditioned toilet projectors are a bit old and difficult to use, and the facilities need to be updated. The hotel is close to the front door parking lot, and we navigated to the back door of the Zhaizi Song and Dance Theater. It is less than 5 minutes away from Fanjing Mountain Scenic Area. The village is very commercial. The interior of the B&B is of a normal standard. In summer, the upper bunk is very hot and the air conditioner needs to be turned on for a long time. It is recommended to replace the air conditioner with a new one first.

The location is superb, just by the river, the clear river is out, the surrounding environment is particularly original, the scenery is beautiful. The design of the homestay is very distinctive, the terrace is facing the river, and the photos are beyond the film. The room is clean and tidy, the log wind decoration is very comfortable, the view of the floor-to-ceiling windows is absolutely perfect, you can see the green trees and river water outside when you lie on the bed, and the experience is very good. The boss and service are also very intimate, the overall stay is very comfortable, recommended to friends who like nature and quiet.

The butler service at Fanjingshan Yunshe Courtyard is absolutely top-notch. Even before check-in, they proactively sent warm reminders and travel guides. Upon arrival, they helped with luggage and offered locally brewed welcome tea. When the weather turned cold, they brought extra blankets without us asking. Any requests were promptly handled, and their 24/7 attentiveness made us feel right at home. The village where the courtyard is located, Yunshe Village, is truly a fairyland. Known as the 'First Tujia Village in China,' it's framed by green mountains, with the Longtan River winding through. Tujia wooden houses are reflected in the water, and flagstone paths connect fields and homes. There's no commercial hustle and bustle, just ducks and geese swimming, and windmills turning. Strolling through, the natural beauty and slow pace allow for complete relaxation.

Staying at Xieshan Jingshe, nestled at the foot of Fanjing Mountain, felt just like going back to my grandma's house when I was a child. Stepping off the car, crossing a small bridge, and entering the courtyard, there was an immediate sense of familiarity and peace. A babbling stream flowed in front, while silent mountains loomed behind. The courtyard was lush with greenery, exuding the scent of damp earth and the passage of time. Moss slowly spread along the flagstone path, and bamboo shadows swayed gently. Koi fish glided serenely in the pond, and the bell by the entrance chimed softly in the breeze, making you instinctively lighten your steps. This wasn't some contrived 'Chinese style,' but a place truly lived in. Their attentiveness was subtle but profound. Knowing roughly when we'd arrive, they'd already warmed the room, even the comforter was toasty. A wisp of sandalwood incense was slowly burning, and the tea set was neatly arranged, as if awaiting its owner's return. The moment I opened the door, my heart felt at ease. The furnishings inside reflected a restrained and tasteful Chinese aesthetic. Carved wooden window lattices, soaring double-leaf Chinese doors, and soft, warm lighting – each item seemed to have stepped out of an earlier time. The collected artifacts and calligraphies were not flashy, yet each quietly told its own story. For dinner, we decided to stay in rather than venture out, opting for a 'home-cooked meal.' Upon hearing our request, the auntie immediately sprang into action – she went to another part of the property, caught a chicken, and stewed a fresh pot of chicken soup. Then she dug fresh fiddlehead ferns from the vegetable patch, still carrying the aroma of earth. There were also her homemade salted duck eggs, not overly salty, yet oily with just one bite. The firewood slowly burned, the soup in the pot gently simmered, and the aroma of the food gradually filled the air. That scent wasn't the refined fragrance of a restaurant, but the long-missed, comforting taste of home. This isn't just a 'chic' guesthouse; it’s far more touching than many of them. It's like a well-preserved slice of life – quiet, authentic, and full of warmth. This is a place one will remember and want to return to for another short stay.

The hotel's surroundings are great, and the facilities are comprehensive. There's a washing machine, a dryer, and even a large swimming pool. I heard they used to have a wellness area, but it's no longer available. Overall, the room hygiene was good. We were supposed to check out at 2 PM, but knowing it was raining on Fanjingshan today, they let us come back, take a shower, and rest before checking out. Very considerate.

This B&B is really great. The transportation is very convenient and the location is perfect. It is quiet in the middle of the hustle and bustle. The B&B still retains its original beam structure and wooden ceiling. There are also many grapefruit trees in the B&B, which are full of grapefruits. Living here will give you the feeling of being hidden in the city and being hidden in the wild.

The scenery here is beautiful, and the lake nearby is a great spot for photos. Perhaps because Fanjingshan is so famous, the surrounding scenery doesn't stand out as much. Actually, staying here is quite lovely, although there are a lot of mosquitoes. The nearby Yunshe Village is also worth a visit; with its small bridges, flowing water, traditional houses, green vines, and ducks... it's quite idyllic.
