This hotel is incredibly peaceful and has a wonderful atmosphere, likely because there aren't many rooms, so it never feels crowded. It's truly perfect for a relaxing getaway. When we visited, there were quite a few Westerners, but they were all quiet and respectful.
The hotel offers a good range of facilities, even if each one isn't massive. There's a swimming pool, restaurant, fitness center, a small pétanque court, a reading room, and a small meeting room. Everything is well-arranged to fit the space without feeling cramped.
My favorite part was definitely the riverside area. You can just chill there for hours; the atmosphere is fantastic, with a cool breeze, lots of trees, and a shady, serene vibe 🌿. It’s perfect for sitting, reading, or simply unwinding.
The overall grounds are exceptionally well-maintained, including the lawns, trees, and general cleanliness. Everything is tidy. The room was also clean. The only minor points were that the bedsheets and towels looked a bit old, and adjusting the hot water was tricky – it was either scalding hot or cold (so I ended up taking cold showers). The bed was comfortable, neither too hard nor too soft, and there were plenty of pillows to adjust for height.
The staff provided excellent service. The overall vibe is incredibly peaceful, comfortable, and private. It’s a small hotel with a lot of charm, and the grounds are beautifully kept. It has a lovely, authentic Thai style, is clean, and well-maintained. The breakfast was delicious (Thai food).

Having heard so much about this place until we decided to take our chance to ”have a feel” on it. The hotel's location is so convenient and directly outside, several night life spots, and a convenient store is within 500m circle. The hotel was guarded by security and there were several car parking lots available. The room is spacious and there is also a gym and mini library there. Overall vibes and service of resort staff were awesome. Though it’s stated 5-star, amenities were dated. Space is big, gets a little spooky at night due to extreme darkness around the area. Knowing the history of kanchanaburi I couldn’t step out after 9pm 😂 No Netflix hence you could wind down and relax at this place.

The hotel ambiance is great, and the staff handling transfers were good. However, the food at the restaurant wasn't tasty for dinner. Room service was overpriced, and the food was just average. But for breakfast, when it wasn't crowded, even though it wasn't a buffet, they had a good selection of side dishes similar to a buffet. The coffee machine was also a nice touch. All my dissatisfaction was outweighed by the breakfast, which was good, even with fewer people. Most importantly, the staff were attentive and caring.
