Great location—next to a restaurant, a pharmacy, Watson, and a 7-Eleven that sells hot food (the one in Chinatown doesn't, so this was a big plus!). Breakfast and supper were never a problem. There's also a small pantry on Level 1 with a sofa, computer, and printer—handy if you need to print anything last minute. Our time at Summerbay Resort was really pleasant. Very friendly staff and very good service. The deluxe pool view room was clean and had good amenities and a nice view of the pool. At no point did it feel like this trip was not worth it. The beach in front of the hotel is wel maintained with plenty of baby black tip reef sharks to see while snorkeling.
The included breakfast was good, with good food and plenty of seating.
For dinner though I would advise to go to Seaview cafe. The dinners and the quality of the food are amazing. Special shoutout to chef Chris for cooking delicious dinners 10/10!

Facilities: The hotel entrance is grand, and there's a lobby boy to help with luggage. The public areas have two swimming pools: an irregularly shaped children's pool and a 25-meter, 1.2-meter-deep outdoor rectangular pool, which is open until 7 PM. Foreign guests are advised to wear tops for men and dress modestly for women to respect local customs.
Restaurant: The hotel's breakfast restaurant also offers dinner, which is good value for money, and the food is delicious.
Location: The hotel is about 1 km from the airport, a 20-minute walk. If you have luggage, the road isn't very smooth, so taking a car is recommended.
To Redang Island: It's suitable as a transit point for Redang Island. A taxi from here to TTI Jetty isn't expensive, the journey is smooth, and you'll arrive on time. It feels like the price from TTI Jetty to Chinatown is more expensive than to here, and Chinatown is more run-down, with poorer accommodation conditions than this hotel.

I recently stayed at Langit Duyong Hotel, Terengganu for 2 nights.
First of all, I would like to say that the ambience, location, and overall scenery were truly beautiful. The view was one of the main highlights of my stay. The peaceful waterfront setting and natural surroundings created a relaxing atmosphere, especially during sunrise and sunset. The property has great potential and offers a unique experience compared to typical hotels.
Unfortunately, my experience was significantly affected by several issues.
The biggest disappointment was the cleanliness of the room. Upon check-in, the room was not cleaned to an acceptable standard, and I had to contact housekeeping to perform a second round of cleaning. While the housekeeping team responded, guests should not have to request additional cleaning upon arrival. Cleanliness is a basic expectation for any accommodation.
Another concern was the maintenance of the surrounding area. The grass around the property was quite long and appeared untrimmed. As a guest, this raised concerns about the possibility of snakes, insects, or other animals entering the vicinity of the rooms. Regular landscaping and maintenance would greatly improve both safety and the overall appearance of the property.
The most frustrating issue, however, was the ongoing renovation work at the neighbouring unit/building. There was significant construction noise starting early in the morning during both days of my stay. What made this more disappointing was that guests were not informed beforehand about the renovation activities. Had I known in advance, I could have managed my expectations or made a different booking decision. Transparency regarding major renovation works is important, especially for guests who choose this property expecting a peaceful and relaxing getaway.
Overall, I genuinely enjoyed the beautiful view, strategic location, and unique atmosphere of the hotel. However, the cleanliness issues, lack of landscape maintenance, and unannounced renovation noise greatly affected the experience. I left feeling both impressed by the property’s potential and disappointed by the management’s attention to guest comfort.
I sincerely hope management takes these concerns seriously, as with better maintenance, communication, and housekeeping standards, this could be a truly exceptional place to stay in Terengganu.FromUS$53

To be honest, I didn't have high expectations at first because of the hotel's exterior appearance and relatively low price. However, I was pleasantly surprised by my stay.
The room was clean, comfortable and most of the facilities and furnishings looked new or had been nicely refurbished.
The location is excellent, with plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The only downside is that the hotel does not offer a breakfast buffet, which was a slight disappointment.

First of all the location is very strategic.My view is pantai.sangat cantik.. i book 2 deluxe room, for my small family and parents. Bilik parents takde tuala ,even remote tv takde. I call reception ＞5 times,they do answered finally and send to towel. Lambat sikit but still okay.. but but but When i went into my room,the amenties cukup..when i tried to lay down on bed.. ada blood stained😭. I called again receptionist ＞10 times yer..tak angkat. So turun bawah complained within 30 min, tukar bedsheet. Sy tak boleh brain mcm mana boleh ada blood stained.parking itself takde ,ada basement and floor 1-2 shj utk park,memang park jelah merata.
