It felt like a 5-star hotel. There's a pleasant lobby with a library and lounge, offering free coffee, cream, tea, and water. There's a kitchen, and comfortable, spacious rooms with 8 wooden bunk beds, each with curtains. The lockers secure with your room card, so no extra padlock is needed. Each room has its own shower and toilet. There's also a terrace with a view of the train station, which is only 50 meters away. An excellent and very affordable place. The room is very artistic, with an aesthetic experience for adults. The spa is also very good. The deepest and clearest swimming pool I have ever seen in Belgium. The spa is actually mainly for outdoor courses, which often occupy half of the swimming pool. Guests of this hotel need to change into swimwear and bathrobes in the room. The room service is almost zero. Even the disposable chocolates were not refilled for two days, and the water was also 200 or 250 ml Tetra Pak pillow bags. The hotel Is slightly outside the city center, however, it is easy to reach with a tram which stops just a few dozen meters from it and runs very frequently.
The interior of the hotel is clean, modern and functional, although from a 4-star hotel we would expect some more amenities in the bathroom, such as a shower cap or some cotton disks. In our room everything worked well. The only thing is that for two people we only had one small bottle of water in the fridge, which we shared, and one big towel, which was signalled to the reception and another one was promptly brought to the room.
The weirdest (almost unacceptable) thing happened when, upon check-in, we asked the reception if it was possible to eat something at the hotel at that time (about 5pm), the answer was, ”you need to contact the hotel's restaurant yourself”. Surprised but not discouraged, we called the restaurant from our room, just to learn they were not open until 18:30, which was kind of late for us to start a meal as we have tickets for a show at 20:00 at Le Forum.
It ended all ok, we found a nice place to eat downtown, but I think that, at a 4-star property, this is an immediate job of a concierge or a reception agent to help guests find their dining options instead of sending them to contact the restaurant directly.
Other than that, everything went smoothly, the breakfast was pretty good, the only recommendation is to think of installing another coffee machine, as with the only one available, there were always a few people waiting for their coffee.FromUS$96

The location was great, right in the center. Beautiful hotel with nice rooms. spacious bathroom with separate toilet. Breakfast area was very large and beautiful. Generous breakfast with lots of choice. The only downside was the bed topper. On one bed it was very lumpy, not smooth. The topper has probably been washed and the contents have become stuck together. Very disturbing. This is indicated at the reception. A thinner topper was then placed over the original topper. The reception was already closed that evening, so no further action was possible. Slept without a bumpy topper, so the bed was very hard.FromUS$78

A very well situated hotel in the heart of Liege, very reasonably priced when booking in advance - be aware that the facilities are basic but the shower pressure is good and the beds comfortable - I would stay again, but the downsides:
-The room was very warm with no AC and a window that doesn't open!
-Only two plugs in the room, both on the desk - not near the bed.
