The city center of Liyang is best accessed through Nanjing Lukou International Airport (NKG), located approximately 67.8 km away. As a major domestic and international gateway, NKG offers the most convenient and cost-effective transport options, including direct bus services and efficient high-speed rail connections via Nanjing South station. Wuxi Shuofang Airport (WUX), at 90.6 km, serves as a strong secondary option for domestic travelers, providing a balance of metro access and high-speed rail. Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (SHA) (177.8 km) and Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (HGH) (159.8 km) are significantly further but offer extensive flight networks; both are best served by high-speed rail to Liyang Railway Station, which minimizes the impact of longer road distances. Jiaxing Nanhu Airport (JNH) (138.7 km) provides the most limited direct connectivity, primarily relying on coaches or private taxis. For most travelers, Nanjing Lukou International Airport (NKG) remains the optimal choice for speed and cost. Always pre-book your high-speed train tickets in advance, as last-minute availability can be limited, and keep digital copies of your passport and Chinese mobile payment apps ready for seamless transit.

Tianmu Lake Scenic Area Liyang|12.44km from city center
Staying for two nights was so relaxing! The lakeside hot spring tickets for two: Soaking in the hot springs at night was very atmospheric. We prepared our swimsuits beforehand; the hot springs have changing rooms, but we changed in our room, put on our robes, and headed over. Each hot spring had a water temperature display, and there were mugwort, carnation, and traditional Chinese medicine pools. After soaking for a while, we felt so comfortable, slightly sweaty, and warm all over. You should definitely try the hotel's casserole fish head. Our butler service was very warm and attentive. I personally think the hotel breakfast is on par with a five-star hotel. While it doesn't have as much variety as a five-star, it has everything you need. The room facilities are a bit dated. We went to Nanshan Bamboo Sea. The package with a meal was the most cost-effective. A shuttle bus takes you to the entrance. You walk a bit, then take a one-way mini-train. You can either take the cable car to the mountaintop first or the ground cable car to the panda house first. Both the cable car and ground cable car tickets are round trip. If you're tired on the way back, just buy a one-way mini-train ticket. If you still have energy, you can walk, and you'll pass by the Little Goose Park to watch a show. The whole trip took about 4 hours. After leaving, we ate the meal included in the package – you can choose between a hot pot restaurant or a fish head restaurant. We chose hot pot, and the two pots were more than enough for two people. Parking was 15 for one visit.

Our initial room wasn't great, but the staff helped us pick a room with a beautiful view, which was fantastic! 👍 The hotel breakfast had a good variety, but the Chinese restaurant's set meal wasn't worth the price. We barely touched the tofu and black rice, and the plate of four pan-fried buns had a pickled vegetable filling 😓. The only good thing was the fish head soup, which was very fresh and delicious 😋. The hot springs ♨️ are conveniently located right next to the hotel. It was so relaxing to soak there and wash away the fatigue, and it wasn't crowded at all, which was a bonus. The Bamboo Sea wasn't crowded either, and we didn't have to wait in line for the mini-train 🚄 or the cable car 🚡. The only downside was the slightly overcast weather; it would have been perfect if it had been sunny!

The hotel's location is excellent, nestled among green mountains and overlooking the shimmering Tianmu Lake, giving it a tranquil and comfortable ambiance. It truly is a great spot for relaxation and wellness. We booked a Deluxe Lake View Room, and the hotel even upgraded us for free to a Luxury Lake View Room. The hotel also offers a variety of fun amenities for children, making it perfect for families with kids. What's even more appealing to visitors is the Cloud Top Observation Deck, which offers panoramic views of Tianmu Lake's beautiful scenery, with lush mountains and clear waters as far as the eye can see – truly a feast for the eyes. It's worth mentioning that the breakfast restaurant is grand and situated right by Tianmu Lake. You can enjoy your breakfast while taking in the stunning lake and mountain views, which really enhances your appetite. The Chinese restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious dishes, with plenty of choices, and the prices are quite reasonable. However, there was one minor disappointment: we wanted to rent the electric scooter with a sidecar located at the entrance of the children's playground. After a series of complicated scanning procedures, the screen displayed that we were over 65 years old and denied us use. How wonderful it would have been to explore the beautiful scenery around the hotel on that electric scooter with a sidecar! We had no problems driving 260 kilometers from Shanghai to the hotel ourselves! We understand that the hotel's concern for the safety of older guests is valid, so we suggest that it would be more accommodating to allow older individuals with a valid driver's license to use it. Overall, this hotel is still very good. We will definitely choose this hotel again when we visit Tianmu Lake in the future.

🛏️About the room: Booked a twin room, but the hotel only has 3 floors?! We were arranged on the 2nd floor facing the parking lot. As soon as the window was opened, there were cars coming and going. It was stuffy when the curtains were drawn. The sense of privacy was directly reduced to zero😅I wanted to change rooms but was told that ”all rooms are like this”. I couldn't bring two kids with me and had to make do with it... 🎙️Late-night horror moment: I never expected to run into ”classmates' reunion and team building for old uncles and aunts who graduated 20 or 30 years ago”! The uncles and aunts were still talking at 10:50 pm. The sound insulation was not good, and the experience was directly negative! 🍉Welcome gift was a big failure: I used points to exchange for ”Welcome Fruit Yogurt”, but I got a small tomato (one of which was rotten) + 2 cans of 100g Mengniu yogurt... Let's say that the points were exchanged for loneliness😓 💧The most confusing operation: The child needs warm water to make milk powder, and there are only 2 bottles of free mineral water in the room. I asked the housekeeper for 2 more bottles, but he said ”refills are charged”? ? ? The layout is too small🤦♀️ 🍳 Big disappointment in breakfast: It is advertised as ”rich buffet”, but in fact, children over 120cm are charged 68 yuan, but looking at it: biscuits, twisted dough sticks, three kinds of white porridge... hot dishes are like lettuce and cauliflower, with few choices and low value for money!

The room is indeed small, but it is well-equipped, clean and hygienic, and has a yard, so you can get a comfortable sun in the morning in winter. The inn is very close to Yushui Hot Spring, just two or three minutes' walk away, which is very convenient. The front desk was also very enthusiastic and gave a small gift before leaving. The only drawback is the breakfast, which is average. The price of 68 is a bit too much, hahaha, but it does not affect the overall experience. I will come again if I have the chance.

The environment of the hotel is very elegant, the lobby is spacious and bright, and the decoration style is atmospheric and warm. The room was clean and comfortable, the bedding was soft, the toiletries were complete and the quality was excellent. The hotel's facilities are also very complete, the gym, restaurant, etc. are all available, which meets all the needs during my stay. The service of the hotel is the biggest highlight of this stay. Comrade Wang Yawei of the Ministry of Security is particularly commendable. Because I was busy with work and the car was covered with dust and mud, I had no time to wash the car. When I went out after I checked in, I accidentally found Comrade Wang Yawei of the Security Department who was hitting a few buckets of water to wipe the vehicle for me. He not only cleaned very carefully and meticulously, but also smiled and chatted with me. This intimate service made me feel unexpected and very warm, and also made me feel good about the hotel. My housekeeper Zixuan (Xiaoxuan) also contacted me in advance to confirm the check-in needs before check-in. I can reply to my questions in time after 8 o'clock in the evening. I am very serious and responsible. The items I left in the guest room are also contacted to help me keep them. In addition, the other staff of the hotel are also very professional and welcoming. The check-in and check-out at the front desk are very efficient and friendly; the room service staff cleans the room in time every day to keep the room clean and comfortable.

This stay experience really exceeded expectations, and I must give it a five-star rating! Before we arrived at Cuizhu Garden, we received a call from the staff, informing us that we were upgraded to a garden view room for free, which was a great surprise. This unexpected beauty made the whole journey brighter. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt the caring service. The front desk lady checked in very quickly and introduced the free services provided by the hotel. The garden view room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and I slept very well all night. There was no odor in the bathroom, the toiletries were of good quality, and the hot water supply was also stable. The breakfast was rich in variety, both Chinese and Western, and the ingredients were fresh and tasted good, which could meet the needs of different tastes. When checking out, the staff warmly said goodbye, and the whole experience was very comfortable. I could feel that the staff of Cuizhu Garden were really thinking about the guests. Such a service attitude really made people feel very good. It is definitely a treasure residence! I will choose here next time!

Tianmu Lake Hotel is located at No. 588 Yingbin Avenue, Tianmu Lake Tourism Resort, Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is a five-star hotel with Tianmu Lake in front of the hotel. The hotel has a good environment and is clean. The lake view room we stayed in faces the scenery of Tianmu Lake. The air is good. Standing on the balcony of the room, I feel comfortable looking at the landscape lake. Tianmu Lake Fisherman's Head Soup, which was first created by the catering department of Tianmu Lake Hotel, is a major feature of the hotel. This time I came here to taste it. The fisherman's head soup tastes good, and I also tasted other varieties of dishes. The restaurant waiters are thoughtful and worthy of praise. The self-service breakfast restaurant in the hotel has a good environment, facing Tianmu Lake, with a variety of breakfast varieties, and Western-style snacks are worth tasting. The waiters are enthusiastic and caring for the elderly and help them deliver meals to the table, which is worthy of praise.

The hotel's location near the high-speed train station is incredibly convenient. The front desk staff were professional and enthusiastic, making the check-in process very quick. As an InterContinental member, my room was upgraded to a super spacious one with floor-to-ceiling windows – it was fantastic! The desk and free high-speed Wi-Fi met all my basic work needs. Breakfast was definitely a highlight! While the variety wasn't as extensive as a five-star hotel, the quality and taste were both excellent. Plus, they had Liyang's local specialty, black rice, which I absolutely loved! If I come for a business trip again, I'll definitely stay here.

Tianmu Lake Scenic Area Liyang|12.29km from city center
The environment is beautiful, the facilities are old but still clean, 800 meters away from the door is the landscape garden scenic spot, the transportation is convenient, but there are many slots: Because the hotel sent 100 fish head vouchers, I ordered fish head in the hotel restaurant, but unlike the big fish head of Qiandao Lake, it is a fish with half the body, more fishy, and the fish meat is very scattered, it is not fresh to eat, I don’t know if the fish head of other stores is the same. Maybe the fish head of Tianmu Lake is all that taste. The meat of the sweet and sour ribs is very greasy, and it is not fresh to eat. The gravy is dried and dried. It is not tender to eat. For this voucher, friends who eat in the hotel restaurant should choose carefully. I don’t know if breakfast is the reason for the Spring Festival. I went around 9 o’clock. Many things were gone, and even the hot water was gone. I told my aunt but my aunt didn’t respond. I said that there were more things at the meeting but we didn’t go there when we left. Almost nothing to eat, In addition, there are 3 bottles of water in the room, and a few more bottles on the phone, and I actually charge 3 yuan a bottle. I have hardly heard this kind of thing in the hotel for so long. Overall, it is not worth the price of more than 800, and will not come again next time.

The room in Building 8 is not bad. Stayed for three nights. I would like to comment on the breakfast in particular. There are a wide variety of dishes and they are rotated every day. The taste is also good. I tried the black rice, which is soft, glutinous and sweet. The large intestine noodles are delicious. The cold dishes are different every day and are refreshing and tasty. The breakfast is very cost-effective. Many five-star hotels cannot reach this category. I hope the quality will continue to be maintained. Huang Fang in the restaurant is very warm and considerate, making me feel at home. I stayed for another night. Thank you Huang Fang. Zhao Zhuhua at the front desk answered all questions and provided enthusiastic service. Although Liyang is a niche city, it is clean and quiet and suitable for citywalk. Liyang Hotel is convenient for travel. The surrounding Gaojing Park is small and beautiful, and Yanshan Park is large and beautiful with flowers blooming in the garden. Yanhu Park is very suitable for walking. Jinling Liyang Hotel is the first choice when you come to Liyang again.

The hotel has a grand and elegant design, and the room facilities are very comprehensive. The front desk was efficient during check-in and even proactively upgraded my room. The breakfast selection was abundant. My only minor issue is that, despite it being almost June, the room's air conditioning wasn't adjustable, staying consistently at 24-25 degrees Celsius. For someone who gets hot easily, this made it difficult to sleep; I went to bed late and woke up before 5 AM due to the heat. However, everything else was quite good, and the staff were all very enthusiastic.

Tianmu Lake Scenic Area Liyang|5.29km from city center
It is said to be the first five-star international brand hotel in Liyang area. The location is not good. It is between the city center and Tianmu Lake. However, Liyang is not big. If you drive by yourself, it only takes about ten minutes to go to the city center and Tianmu Lake. It is convenient. The hotel hardware is good, the parent-child room booked is very large, and the two 1.5-meter beds are very good. The front office service is very good. As soon as we entered the door, the lobby manager greeted us and asked us where we booked the room, and took us all the way to the front desk for check-in. But after two days, there are some shortcomings, but I can't complain. The first is the swimming pool, which was actually outsourced. There were many outsiders inside, and the whole locker room smelled bad. The surroundings of the swimming pool were also messy and disorderly, completely inconsistent with the positioning and level of the hotel itself, so I didn't dare to go into the water, and the children went back to the room after playing in the swimming pool for about ten minutes. Second, the service staff in the restaurant are all old aunts, and their attitude really needs to be improved. A guest was complained by the waiter because he didn't know that he didn't use a special spoon to serve purple rice. The two sides had a little bickering, which surprised me. In many hotels, this is the first time that a waiter complains to a customer face to face. In the end, I called the room service and asked for two garbage bags for children's toothbrush. After the applause, the child clamored to take a bath, but he couldn't resist him, so when the room attendant brought me the garbage bags, I was embarrassed and asked her if she could Give me another bath bag, and then she said with a face of reluctance that if you want something, you can agree to it once, and I am very tired from running back and forth. Well, it happened to me to complain about the customer face to face. To sum up, the hardware of the hotel is good. Except for the front office, the services of other departments really need to be greatly improved. The swimming pool is extremely not recommended, which will definitely lower the praise of the hotel

We originally booked an elegant standard room. I'd heard great things about the hotel's private hot spring rooms, and luckily there was a promotion when we arrived, so we upgraded to a hot spring room for a small extra charge. The room was fantastic! It had its own private hot spring tub and was on a secluded floor. Even the key cards were custom-designed, which was a nice touch. Service: Butler Dai Dai provided excellent service. I happened to mention that the black rice at breakfast was really good, and Butler Dai Dai overheard me and sent some up to our room – so thoughtful and attentive, highly recommend! Cleanliness: The room was spotless, the bedding was clean, and the mattress was super comfortable. The private hot spring tub water is changed after every guest, and the privacy was excellent. Ambiance: The overall hotel environment is lovely. The central courtyard's water curtain wall is a great spot for photos. Definitely recommend!

We booked a private family room, and the housekeeper, Ms. Zhou, checked us in and took us to the guest room. The room has a large bed and a small bed. The bathing pool is in the yard. If you need to soak in the hot spring, just tell Ms. Zhou and she will happily come over and help fill the hot spring water. She is a very nice person. I really like her. No. I had to go to the public hot springs to soak with others, it was very comfortable. I also went to Nanshan Bamboo Sea. The air was very good. I had a very good accommodation experience this time. I will go there often in the future!
