Compare 5 airports near Llandudno

Travelers planning a journey to Llandudno have several options, though none are located within the city itself. Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LPL) serves as the primary and most efficient gateway for those arriving in the North West of England, offering the most balanced transport options via train and taxi. Birmingham Airport (BHX), located in the West Midlands, is a larger international hub that serves as a secondary entry point, requiring a slightly longer rail journey through central England. Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) is an alternative for international arrivals, though it lacks direct rail connectivity and often requires a more complex transfer route. East Midlands Airport (EMA) also serves regional and international traffic in the East Midlands but is situated at a greater distance, making ground transport time-consuming. Finally, Belfast City Airport (BHD) requires a multi-modal approach, typically involving a flight combined with a ferry crossing and rail service, which is best reserved for those already traveling within Ireland. For the most convenient experience, prioritizing rail links from the nearest regional hubs remains the standard practice for travelers reaching the North Wales coast.

So happy to find that this hotel back to how it was. I usually organise group coach trips and the last time we came here was just after Covid, and the whole break was miserable. Food dreadful (not buffet style as it is now), bar hopeless, no entertainment….the list went on. WHOLE DIFFERENT SITUATION NOW Food looked lovely & breakfast looked fab too. All buffet style and beautifully presented. Staff happy, helpful and chatty. Thought I’d never stop here again, but after last night’s stay - definitely will come back with my group Well done “The Grand”

I received a nice warm welcome on arrival, and even the offer of assistance with my overnight bag to my room, which I gladly accepted. I stayed in a single room, which was small but spacious enough, well heated, with a good sized TV & nice tray with tea, coffee etc. Bedroom & bathroom were spotless. Breakfast was excellent, offering a good variety of cereals, pastries, fruit, toast & juices, together with a full cooked breakfast which was delicious. This was excellent value for money in a good location & I will definitely stay here again.

The location is at a crossroad and it is still a bit far away from the seaside on foot. There is a large free parking lot. The accommodation is a separate entrance behind the bar. I like the design of the spiral staircase very British style. The room is exquisite and comfortable with an old small fan. The restaurant downstairs was fully booked. They arranged for us to sit in the corner of the bar for dinner. The products were very good. I personally prefer the decoration and atmosphere of the bar. It was a very pleasant night! The breakfast on the second day is half a la carte, that is, the cold cuts are self-service and the a la carte hot food is still exquisite and delicious😋... Overall very good, especially recommended to friends who want to experience a bar-type hotel!

The Dunoon is an award-winning hotel of antiques and oak panels: elegant and stylish, warm and intimate, where the service is personal and attentive, rather than fussy and overbearing. The owners' ethos shows in the individuality and quality of its bedrooms, and in the attention to detail and appreciation of the understated luxuries that separate the grand from the bland: crisp Egyptian cotton bed-linen, fluffy white towels and Molton Brown toiletries in every bathroom.

The service is very good. There are disposable paper cups. You can also store your luggage for free. The front desk guy is very enthusiastic. It is less than ten minutes' walk from the train station. The beach is right outside the hotel and it is close to all the attractions.

The hotel is not far from the beach, although it is not directly facing the beach, but you can still see the hotel facilities. Although it is a bit old, it is still clean. The room has free costa coffee capsules. Milk and mineral water in the refrigerator are free 15 pounds per person. The breakfast is also very good with a sea view The price-performance ratio of this hotel is still very recommended. There are many restaurants when you go out. It takes only 2 minutes to walk to the small train on Mount Ohm

This hostel truly felt like a 'hostel' in every sense of the word. All the staff were incredibly, incredibly enthusiastic. Now, even though it was an 8-person mixed dorm, I definitely didn't get a good night's sleep. The beds were shaky, and it was noisy because of all the people. Plus, since it was a mixed dorm, there were a lot of men who smelled really bad – they clearly didn't shower, and some had foot odor. But for this price, what can you say? You get what you pay for. Ctrip probably thinks I'm a difficult customer because I'm always reaching out to them whenever I stay at a hotel. But for this place, I absolutely didn't need to contact Ctrip. The service here is genuinely better than any five-star hotel I've stayed at. Everyone is so genuine. On my first night, the manager saw me sleeping on the sofa in the lobby. He said that since I only paid for a bed, even if it was noisy, I should sleep in my assigned bed. But he understood travelers and said it was okay for that night, just to make sure I slept back in my room the next day. And the female staff member, Grace, was super amazing! Huge shout-out to her! I told her I was trying to get tickets for The Lion King musical, but couldn't because I didn't have a UK account. She literally put down her toilet brush, went back to the office, and used their office computer to help me secure tickets! Oh my god, she was just too good, too good!

On arrival the receptionist was very helpful, Room was clean , beds comfortable ,we found the room very warm and was unable to open the window room 311, not a very view from this room. Hotel was full so unable to get another room . We had evening meal in the restaurant .food was excellent, and our waiter was very helpful. We had breakfast the following morning, but found that the bacon and black pudding was overdone as was the fried egg. But we should of waited for the Fresh cooked food to come out of the kitchen. Idid mention this to the waitress. Breakfast was the only downside to our stay
