Compare 5 airports near Moalboal

The most efficient way to reach Moalboal is via Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB), located 75 km away. Despite being slightly further by distance than Bohol–Panglao International Airport (TAG) at 59 km, CEB offers significantly faster and more direct transport options, including private taxi transfers taking approximately 2.5 hours. Travelers seeking the lowest cost should utilize the Ceres Liner bus from the Cebu South Bus Terminal, which is a budget-friendly option for the journey. Other airports like Bacolod–Silay International Airport (BCD), Iloilo International Airport (ILO), and Laguindingan Airport (CGY) are not recommended for direct access to Moalboal, as they necessitate complex, time-consuming multi-modal travel, including multiple ferry and bus transfers often exceeding 10 hours. For a smooth trip, pre-book a private car or van if traveling in a group, or use the bus for an authentic and economical local experience. Always verify ferry schedules if traveling from Bohol, and avoid traveling during peak rush hours in Cebu City to save time.

Good for diving in Moalboal, its neptune diving shop are downstairs, only 10 metres away from the coast. But of course, the location is at the end of the street. a bit far from the main street restaurants but it just a 5-10mins walk, acceptable . But it is noisy at night, because it is facing a night club . can hear shouting and music from my room till 2-3am.... the hotel restaurant downstairs but my booking didn't include the breakfast , buy separately will be around 200-300 peso. Air conditioning is not cool enough. no tooth brush ,paste and hair dryer provided. And the water is hardwater, you can buy bottle water yourself. we arrived late, needed to climb to the top (3rd floor). the staff also helped to take the luggage. The hotel provided car pick up service from Cebu Mactan airport 3000peso 3-4hrs. provided Kawasan fall Canoyeering with transport ticket and lunch 2500 per person (4hrs) with ”Nancy Kawasan shop”. Scuba Diving shore 1600peso with gear and dive master, called ”Ar-ink”, nice person.

Due to everywhere being so busy after staying in the sea view suite the only space was the dorm but I was blown away but how well appointed it was. I was keen to stay a second night after being blown away by every aspect of the hotel. The staff were amazing, kind, polite, super helpful.  My pod was quite, safe, secure, private, clean and comfy as well as still affording me the super facilities of the resort like the sea access. And great breakfast. My favourite location in town as such a nice route through to town.  Can’t recommend enough for budget traveller.

This is by far the best hostel I've stayed at during my entire trip to the Philippines! They have hot showers, water, and lockers. It's located right next to the beach where you can see the sardine run. If they had a kitchen, I would have given them five stars across the board. But when I asked for hot water, they brought me an electric kettle, which was a nice touch, good job on that!

This hotel evaluation is relatively small, specifically, let everyone refer to it. I placed the order in April, and traveled at the end of July. When I arrived at the hotel, I said that I didn't have my order. I was so nervous. I don't know if it is Ctrip or a hotel problem. However, when I sent a message to Ctrip, the processing speed was really fast. Soon the hotel owner received a Ctrip phone call and coordinated the arrangement. We booked two villas for a total of three nights. On the last night, when the villa was full, we arranged four other rooms for us. The villa we live in for eight people is OK, there is a refrigerator, there are two rooms on the ground floor, one bed for two meters, one bed for five meters, all with bathroom. The living room was not air-conditioned and it started to be hot. Later, the room on the bottom floor was opened, letting the air conditioner out there, it was all right, not too hot. On the second floor, there are two stairs to each room, one has a large bed, and the other has a bed of five meters and two meters. The room is large, the hangers are more, and the living is more comfortable. It is best to bring your own rope to the balcony to dry your clothes. There is a swimming pool in the villa area, and the children are very happy to go swimming every night. The villa is not in the same place as the suite. It is a few hundred meters apart. The villa is closer to the sea. The back door is the seaside. In the area where the sardines storm, walk to the left for five or six minutes on the back door. I have been to Mobao twice, once in February, when the sea was relatively calm, and the tide did not rise at 5 or 6 in the morning. This July, the waves were very big, and I almost never saw the shoal exposed in the morning. But it does not affect the experience of deep dive. Snorkeling is too much. The hotel owner is Chinese, and the people are really good. I booked another villa. When I originally booked, I wrote two rooms, each with a 2 meter bed. But at the time I saw that there was a bed that was very small. Later the boss changed to another villa. Opposite ours. After the change, the living room has air conditioning, but the decoration is not so luxurious. After the change, the first floor of the room, one meter five. A double bed room on the second floor on the stairs. On the other side, two small rooms, one meter and two beds, one meter and five beds, shared bathroom. For large families, booking a villa is better. On the other side of the villa, breakfast only has toast, eggs, luncheon meat, coffee, and you can eat it yourself. Will be sent to the villa. On the other side of the small suite, there is a restaurant, breakfast can also choose noodles or powder.

Suitable for people who like to be quiet, go out and snorkel in a few steps, if you are lucky, you can see turtles. Eating out is not very convenient, you can eat at their home, choose Filipino meals, it is not bad, the price is also appropriate. But because it is in the country, there are all kinds of strange animal sounds. If you sleep light, it is estimated that sleep will have an effect. The overall feeling is worth living.

If you’re contemplating staying at this resort DON’T HESITATE, JUST DO IT. This resort is 10/10 ! The MOST COMFORTABLE bed and pillows I’ve ever slept on. The grounds are well kept and extremely clean. The resort has a very cozy and secluded feeling to it, so quiet and beautiful. The staff is very friendly and professional. Each room has a bungalow feel to it with your own verandah (porch) and is VERY SPACIOUS. The only thing that surprised me was that it’s a bit of a drive away from the main road BUT that didn’t put a damper on our experience. I was actually so sad to leave this resort, I would 100% return.

A very pleasant hotel with nice, clean rooms that stay cool. The air conditioning was turned off at night. The room was cleaned daily, and it smelled wonderfully of clean linens. Beautiful grounds, smoking allowed on the veranda, free short-distance shuttle service, and the option to book excursions. A parrot was also provided. Cons: sick dogs wandering around the grounds and pooping on the beautiful lawn. I was very dissatisfied with the organization of the excursion transfer. When we booked a canyoning trip with a private transfer, there was no driver waiting for us on the return trip. We had to call one and wait a very long time in the heat (people on a shared transfer had left much earlier). We were told the driver was taking other guests somewhere and we had to wait for him to take them and then come pick us up. We paid 5,000 pesos for the tour and private transfer for two (we could easily have found cheaper). The staff also asked if it was possible to add a neighbor from another room to ours (which was fine, we didn't mind). For that extra cost, they could have taken a more careful approach to transporting guests who were tired after canyoning. The tour itself and the guides were excellent.

If you don't expect luxury, you can have a wonderful stay. The room is spacious, has a small refrigerator, air conditioning, and breakfast is included. It may be a bit far from the center and isn't exactly sparkling clean or new, but the beds are comfortable and the linens are fresh. And best of all, you can snorkel right next to the hotel and spot all those turtles without any crowds.

Nice resort near beautiful White Beach in Moalboal. Perfect for people who like lounging on the beach, diving, and/or want a stress free vacation in a resort. It’s about a three hour drive from Cebu City and about an hour away from the typical tourist attractions in Moalboal (hence 4 stars for location). They provide basic soap and shampoo so I’d suggest bringing your own toiletries. It’s better for the environment!

If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, with a refreshing atmosphere in a remote location and especially if you’re into advanced diving this is an excellent place to stay. We stayed for just 1 night, as we wanted to explore other activities and we’re not advanced divers, so we decided to change our plans. A quick tip: prepare cash in advance. The nearest ATM is quite far from the resort, so you’ll need to take a tricycle or rent a motorbike. The resort only accepts cash. The highlight for us was the stunning sea view and breathtaking sunset. The property isn’t very large, but with plenty of trees it feels secluded and peaceful. The food was also delicious.

Great place to be. Amazing beach that’s called the Mushroom rocks. You can observe it during the stay. Amazing view from the beach or from the rooftop bar where you can see the other island, sea in all of its beauty. Aaaand don’t miss a chance to observe the stars out of terrace. It’s amaaaaaazing. Restaurant’s right on reception. The food is tasty, especially we liked spring rolls and Wild Orchid omelet. You can chose any table you like (right in front of the beach, on a cafe territory, the rooftop bar or the number balcony. Pool on common territory is wonderful. Clean, different depth, instagramly. But the best thing, there are no people or maybe few. Nice staff on reception and kitchen. Clear, comfortable room. Nice place to come back!

This place is okay for couples, but be prepared for basic, spartan conditions – keep your room expectations at zero. I stayed here for 5 days, but we were out and about from the morning, only returning to change or sleep. You can work with a laptop downstairs, but it's outdoors and hot. It really makes sense to stay here if you love diving and freediving, as they have their own beach access. Breakfasts are standard, basic fare, like eggs, sausages, and something local, just like at home. They have excellent freediving instructors. The view from the balcony is gorgeous.

This amazing hotel is a bit tucked away from the main roads, and you get a slight village vibe from the animal sounds, but the grounds are very well-maintained. There's no restaurant on-site, but you can order delivery, and breakfast is also delivered. They conveniently offer scooter rentals and tours at reasonable prices right at the hotel. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. There's also a common area with hammocks, movies, board games, and more.
