Choosing the right arrival point for your Moscow trip depends on your priorities and flight route. For most international travelers, Moscow Sheremetyevo Alexander S. Pushkin International Airport (SVO) and Moscow Domodedovo Mikhail Lomonosov Airport (DME) are the primary gateways, offering the most extensive flight networks and reliable high-speed rail connections via the Aeroexpress train. Vnukovo International Airport (VKO) is often preferred for its shorter transfer times and direct metro access, making it a highly convenient option for those reaching the city center quickly. Zhukovsky International Airport (ZIA), while situated southeast of the city, serves as an alternative for specific regional and international routes, typically relying on bus and train combinations. Finally, Kaluga International Airport (KLF) is located in the neighboring city of Kaluga and is significantly farther from Moscow, primarily serving passengers who find specific regional connections there. Travelers should note that while all options provide access, those in the city itself—SVO, VKO, DME, and ZIA—offer better public transport infrastructure than the intercity connection required from KLF.

The hotel room was quite spacious and clean. They also have a swimming pool and complimentary spa access. The only downside is that it's a bit of a walk from the metro station.

We stayed at Radisson Blu from September 20-21, and our experience was nothing short of positive. We were especially touched that on my birthday, the staff not only congratulated me but also treated me to a cake—such a personalized touch immediately set a festive mood. I'd also like to specifically mention the hotel's generosity: our standard room was upgraded to a premium class without any additional charge. The room turned out to be spacious and very stylish—it was a pleasure to return to after exploring the city. The hotel's hammam is simply a gem: it's the perfect place to relax after a busy day. And thanks to a 10% discount at the Fire Lake restaurant, dinner was not only delicious but also a great value. The service was excellent: the staff were attentive, friendly, and responded to requests promptly. Overall, our stay left us with the warmest memories—we will definitely be back.

Great experience overall. Facilities: Very good. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: Good, but there are some geese who like to race at night, so you might want to ask for a room not facing the street. Service: The service was very good.

The hotel's location is great, making it easy to get around. The room was very clean, and the bedding had no strange smells. The soundproofing was decent as well; I wasn't disturbed at night. Some facilities are a bit old. The front desk staff were friendly, although there was a bit of a queue for check-in. The breakfast offered a good variety. For this price, it was a hassle-free stay.

The location is fantastic, just a 5-minute walk from Polyanka metro station. It's situated on a quiet street, so it's not noisy. The Tretyakov Gallery and New Tretyakov Gallery are nearby, and you can even walk to Red Square. The breakfasts are varied and offer an excellent selection. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need: a hairdryer, safe, tea, coffee, and toiletries. However, the room cleaning and preparation for check-in were a huge disappointment. We checked in late, tired from our journey and dealing with jet lag. In our room, we were greeted by a huge spider on the ceiling and a dirty towel lying behind the sofa... seriously?! A very nice man came and cleaned everything up. Yet, the reception didn't even apologize for what happened. They definitely need to work on their room cleaning.

I'd come back to Moscow just for this hotel. I learned about this hotel, which has existed since 1905, from the book 'A Gentleman in Moscow.' It truly lives up to its reputation as the 'flower of Russian hotels.' I stayed for three nights and was extremely satisfied. Our room was a 'Historical Suite,' which actually consisted of two separate rooms, two beds, and two bathrooms, separated by a curtained door. It would comfortably accommodate a family of four, though it was just my father and I traveling. The breakfast was incredibly lavish and of very high quality, featuring champagne, caviar, various fresh juices, and a wide array of food. The staff were both attractive and highly professional. The Savva restaurant inside the hotel, which I believe used to have a Michelin star, was excellent; I had one meal there and would highly recommend it. The borscht, fish, and meat were all very good. In short: it's expensive for a reason, and I'll definitely be back.

1. On the second night, the hot water was black, like rusty pipes, reddish-brown. The engineering department took half an hour to flush it until it ran clear. 2. The hotel only provides disposable slippers on the check-in day. 3. On the third night, despite explicitly requesting new bedding, it was not changed. 4. On the day of check-out, the phone rang three times without reason at 7 AM, 9 AM, and 10 AM, severely disturbing my rest. Considering all these issues, I was too tired to deal with problems every day after returning late to the hotel. The location is good, but you don't need to go to Red Square every day. I'd recommend a different hotel; this one is too old to recommend.

The hotel is in a fantastic downtown location, super close to the subway. Our room was really spacious, comfy, and sparkling clean. The bathroom was quite roomy, though the shower stall itself was a tad small. My only real complaint is that the fridge was broken – my ice cream melted! Also, the closet door was a bit saggy and scraped the floor, making it hard to open and close. On the bright side, breakfast was plentiful and varied, and I loved the Chinese signs; that was a nice touch.

The environment here is very clean, with beautiful, classical music playing – truly a Soviet-era style, as expected. The service staff are very polite, and the guy at the front desk is super cute, haha! We had to rely on our phones to communicate since I don't speak Russian. The cleanliness is top-notch; the cleaning ladies check every floor daily, so it was definitely money well spent. The facilities are great; I was pleasantly surprised to find a TV and a mini-fridge, plus a kettle. The bathroom is comfortable, with complimentary shower gel and shampoo that smell lovely. The bed is incredibly soft. Overall, it's excellent value. There's a 1500 ruble breakfast buffet from 8-11 AM. You pay at the front desk on the first floor, and the restaurant is on the second floor, straight down the hall from the elevator. The breakfast is delicious, and there's a lady playing the violin, which adds a nice touch. It's very comfortable, and I'll definitely be coming back!

A pleasant experience. The hotel has a superb location, just a 10-minute walk from Red Square. There are many shops nearby. It's an old, historic building, but the facilities are complete and convenient, including toiletries, slippers, and water. Great value for money. The only downside is the poor WiFi; I'm not sure if it was due to signal interference from drones in Moscow during those days. Also, it would be perfect if the carpet could be vacuumed daily.

The hotel is beautiful, with an old-school European decor that's absolutely stunning. The breakfast restaurant staff were all incredibly warm and welcoming. I stayed for 7 nights, and the room service was excellent, always providing enough bottled water as requested every day. The air conditioning in the room was also strong and kept the room very warm. My only complaint is that the concierge was useless; they didn't even offer to help with my extremely large luggage, which was a real disappointment.

The room was spacious. The only drawbacks were that the black-haired receptionist spoke English with a slight accent and spoke quickly, and there were no trash bags in the trash cans (I asked the receptionist and they said they didn't have any). The lobby was bright and spacious, and a welcome drink was served in the afternoon.

The main advantage of the hotel is of course the location. To the red area 20 minutes walk through Sretenka one pleasure to walk. The room in classic style, as is the whole hotel. A comfortable mattress and pillows. Quiet as the hotel is located in the yard. Breakfast is diverse. The hotel will definitely advise my friends/acquaintance, the price-quality ratio is fully satisfying!

Excellent hotel. I stay here often. I usually book a junior suite for the view. This time, the room wasn't great: stains on the carpet and furniture, the water in the bathroom wouldn't drain, and one of the toilets smelled of smoke. I was too tired to change rooms after my flight. However, the bedding is always clean, and there's a good selection of pillows. Breakfast is top-notch! Simply superb. Everything is fresh, there's an excellent variety, and dishes are constantly refilled. The harpist at breakfast adds a magical touch! The location is excellent! The metro is close by, and there are plenty of places to walk to. There's a restaurant on the top floor with amazing views, great food, and excellent service. I highly recommend this hotel! If they clean up the rooms, it would be a 10 out of 10, but for now, it's a 9.
