It's branded Hilton, but it truly bears no resemblance to what one expects from a Hilton. Driving into the parking lot, it felt incredibly desolate, like entering an abandoned construction site. The ground was covered in construction dust and was very dirty. We had to enter through a back door, as the main entrance isn't accessible from the street; it's rather located inside what looked like a shopping mall entrance, next to a disused escalator. The grime outside was already off-putting, but upon entering the room, I pulled open the curtains – good weather, as you can see in the picture – only to find the window glass looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages! The mirror was even installed crooked. The management's attention to detail is truly appalling; my OCD seriously wanted to straighten that mirror. Oh, and by the way, I heard you have to pay for parking upfront and then get reimbursed by the hotel. Naturally, if you forget, the hotel won't proactively contact you about reimbursement. I checked out last Friday, and no one has contacted me yet about a parking refund. I only remembered today after seeing other reviews, so it's definitely best to claim your reimbursement promptly. I had a wonderful experience with my 1 year old son at the intercontinental. Because it was his first birthday the hotel decorated the room for him and I’m really appreciative of that. The room was clean and spacious, Room service was good and the staff really went out of their way to help and accommodate us. I wish they had children’s menu to make things better when traveling with a baby. However, the hotel did help me by making vegetable sides for my child.
