The experience was rather poor value for money, but I can't blame the hotel; in that location, it should have been much more comfortable than those RVs and tents. During the day, the sun beat down so hard it felt like a giant sauna inside; even with the air conditioning on for an hour, it didn't cool down, and it got extremely cold at night. The bathroom was tiny; although there was hot water for showering and a toilet, there was barely enough space to turn around, so I didn't dare shower. The owners are all locals from Xinjiang, and their Mandarin isn't very good, but they were very friendly. When I asked if I wanted to have breakfast earlier, they readily agreed to start serving an hour earlier.

This is the largest hotel right at the entrance of the Mokelet Scenic Area, a two-story building with very nice decor. The front desk manager, Ms. Pu, provided excellent service.
