The hotel is perfect for persons who have layovers in Panama and just want a quiet night’s rest. It is located about 8mins by car away from the airport and they offer an on the hour shuttle service for convenient travel to and from the airport.
The property is very beautiful- they have a green area, a pool, outdoor bar and grill and lounge areas. The staff is also very polite and helpful.
Perfect stay and I’d definitely go again. My only issue was that that wifi signal is very weak in the room. Stayed 2 nights, hotel and room normal. In front of the hotel there is Av. Balboa, busy day and night, so you can hear a bit of noise.
During our stay there was construction work behind the hotel, so the pool (which is small for those who want to swim 7/7 m) is not nice to use because of the loud noise. The breakfast does not offer much choice and with products not at the level of a hotel of this rating. For the price I paid the quality/price ratio was OK, but I saw that it can also cost up to CHF 50.00 more per night. We will return to Panama City at the end of our tour of the country, but not to the Méridien.

The hotel is located in a good location relatively centrally located many things are to walk (although you have to walk longer). The rooms include TV and air conditioning but have a little down/old bake and are relatively loud or let sounds pass through windows and doors.
The kitchen and the tools (panna, cotton, kitchen equipment, etc) were neither optical nor hygienic in good condition. Whoever wants to use them must clean them thoroughly for the first time.
The food was good but is not described exactly what you eat there For example, order a beef burger (on request it is said that it's just beef, so beef is beef) And this is equipped with S*****en What is not described anywhere Although much is in the menu but not everything. Different things from the menu can not be ordered a reason is not called just that you can not be ordered these.
The entry and checkout went relatively relaxed and smooth.
