Airport Guide

Compare 5 airports near Quanzhou

For most travelers, Quanzhou Jinjiang International Airport (JJN) is the practical choice as it is the only airport situated directly in the city of Quanzhou, providing the fastest and most economical access to the city center. Travelers arriving at Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport (XMN) will find a major regional hub serving the neighboring city of Xiamen; while international connections are more frequent here, the onward journey to Quanzhou requires navigating high-speed rail or bus connections. Fuzhou Changle International Airport (FOC) is another significant provincial gateway located in the capital city of Fuzhou, best suited for those needing flights not available locally, though it entails a longer rail journey. The remaining options, Penghu Airport (MZG) and Sanming Shaxian Airport (SQJ), are located in the neighboring regions of Taiwan and Sanming respectively, and are generally not recommended for direct access to Quanzhou unless your itinerary specifically requires visiting those areas. Practical tip: always prioritize flight schedules and total transit time before choosing an airport outside of Quanzhou.

Jiangnan New Area Quanzhou|3.64km from city center
This hotel offers excellent service; the staff are all very warm and welcoming. The drinks, ice cream, and game console at the front desk were a must-have for the kids whenever we left or returned. The roasted sweet potatoes were also delicious – please prepare more! The room was very clean, with great attention to detail. The price increase during the Chinese New Year wasn't too outrageous, which was acceptable. Although the breakfast selection was limited, the ingredients were good, and I especially appreciated the separate sections for raw and cooked food. Quanzhou isn't large; a taxi ride to attractions near West Street usually takes less than 20 minutes. The accommodation was very quiet, which was a big plus.

Hotel hardware is in good condition, much better than the Jinjiang Hotel we stayed in! The room is large and well equipped, sleeping at night is particularly quiet, parking is very convenient, and the price is cheap, in a word, cost-effective! The waiter was polite and called the front desk to send two bottles of water. I didn't expect it to be sent by the robot! The breakfast is very rich and tastes good, it is worth coming again next time!

Wanda Plaza/Fengze Square Quanzhou|2.58km from city center
The hotel is in a good location, not far from West Street, and the taxi costs more than 7 yuan. Nanyi Plaza is near the hotel, and the food on the fifth floor is delicious. The bed in the hotel room is very comfortable and clean, but there are three defects: First, the temperature of the bath water is very unstable. When taking a shower, the bath water will automatically change temperature every half a minute, which is really unbearable. Second, the drainage pipe facilities of the basin are broken (Photo 5) and have not been repaired, so guests cannot use it normally. Third, the automatic volume control of the TV is not debugged well. When changing channels, some channels are loud and some channels are soft, resulting in the need to adjust the volume immediately when changing channels. I hope it can be improved.

In such a competitive era, they can still do so well, which is really not easy. Every time I go to Quanzhou on a business trip, the first thing I think of is their home. It is my second home on the road. The front desk service is always consistent. The room hygiene is also very good. The breakfast is also nice. It is really convenient to travel around. The price-performance ratio is really YYDS

West Street/Kaiyuan Temple Quanzhou|0.16km from city center
When visiting Quanzhou Ancient City, choosing the long-standing Quanzhou Hotel is an excellent decision, as its location is truly unbeatable. You can walk to core attractions like West Street, Kaiyuan Temple, and Zhongshan Road, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the ancient city and trying local snacks. This is especially helpful for families traveling with elderly people and children, saving them a lot of hassle. The hotel's garden environment is elegant and quiet, and the rooms are spacious and tidy with comfortable bedding, ensuring a peaceful stay. The breakfast offers a rich selection of Southern Fujian flavors, with plenty of local specialties. The staff are courteous and polite, and even provide thoughtful tips for exploring the ancient city. As an older hotel in the ancient city, some facilities show their age, but the overall maintenance is well done. It's a tranquil oasis in a lively area, with convenient access to everything, making it perfect for an in-depth exploration of Quanzhou Ancient City. It's definitely a top choice for anyone visiting Quanzhou.

Whenever I visit Quanzhou, I usually stay at the Crowne Plaza Riverside, which I believe has the largest rooms in Quanzhou. InterContinental hotels generally offer good quality and highly competent staff. I particularly love the apartment suites – they come with a kitchen, living room, and a long dining table. The room layout is well-organized, and the Jinjiang River flows right outside the window. The hotel is conveniently located 15 minutes from Quanzhou Station, less than 10 minutes from Licheng Wanda, and 10 minutes from Huansu Karting (one of Quanzhou's two major outdoor karting tracks). The hotel also offers daily intangible cultural heritage activities for children, such as puppet shows and sugar painting. This time, we also received complimentary set meals for two daily at the Cai Feng Lou on the second floor. The ginger duck was quite authentic, and the vinegar-marinated pork was delicious. The 32nd-floor lounge has a lovely ambiance, equipped with binoculars and a reading corner, perfect for a relaxing afternoon enjoying the scenery. Service is a highlight of InterContinental. You can see mid-level managers actively involved, and their English is excellent. I want to especially thank our front desk attendant, Xiao Yu, for his service this time. He's a cheerful, handsome, and outgoing young man, as warm as a younger brother next door, always thoughtful and considerate of guests. My parents were also very satisfied with their dining experience at the hotel. I also ran into Xiao Cai from the concierge team. He helped us with a taxi during our stay last Chinese New Year. It's been several months, but he still recognized us. The manager and staff at Cai Feng Lou were also humble and attentive, even helping us book a private room for our next meal. I often travel to different cities and experience various hotels. But when it comes to loyalty, I always choose InterContinental hotels. Their design style is grand yet simple, and their service is warm and friendly, making them well worth repeat visits.

I brought my family to Quanzhou for a trip and after looking around, I chose the Quanzhou Yuewha Hotel. It's a well-established five-star hotel, so I specifically booked a two-bedroom suite. The entire suite was convenient for looking after the elderly while still offering some privacy. The room was very spacious at 55 square meters, and the bathroom had both a bathtub and a shower. The toiletries like shampoo and shower gel were all from Atelier Cologne – top quality! I loved the 'Pomelo Paradiso' scent, it was so pleasant and refreshing. The toothbrush was their own brand, but the brush head was very soft and large; I even took it home after check-out to keep using it. The mattress provided good support; I don't think it was individual pocket springs as you could feel someone turning over, but when you're traveling, you can't be too picky, as long as it's comfortable. The suite also came with breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening happy hour light meals – we really couldn't eat it all! Breakfast was delicious, and we left full every day. My favorites were the seafood congee, vermicelli paste, peanut soup, and oyster omelet. The elders also gave it consistent high praise. We even tried the hotel's dinner buffet one day, which was around 160+ per person – excellent value for money! I just hope next time they cut the salmon sashimi a bit thicker and more generously, haha, as thick cuts are all the rage now. The staff here are very responsive; Miss C at the front desk and the uncle who cleans the rooms were both fantastic. There was an endless supply of bottled water in the room, so we didn't need to buy any ourselves. They also provided complimentary fruit and white fungus soup – too much to eat, haha! We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit. The transportation nearby is very convenient for getting anywhere.

I chose this hotel because I saw its 4.9-star service rating online. As soon as I arrived, the security guard in the parking lot helped me with my luggage. At the front desk, I was given a glasses cloth and a tourist guide during check-in, and I was also allowed to pick my favorite tea for free. I stayed on the 'Peace and Safety' floor, and I was immediately surprised to find that the floor was equipped with a blood pressure monitor, a foot bath bucket, and reading glasses. I drew a 'Healthy and Peaceful' lot from the fortune stick holder on the desk, which made me very happy. In the evening, they delivered fruit and supper, and the service details were impeccable. The room attendant did an excellent job cleaning the room. The 'Peace and Safety' water cups and mouthwash cups in the room were beautiful and culturally rich, truly unique. The breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of local dim sum and snacks. I slowly savored them, and they were very distinctive. All the hotel staff were polite and greeted guests with smiles. I definitely give it a five-star rating.

I was in Quanzhou for two days and arrived quite late. The front desk staff, Xiao Feng, called in advance to confirm my check-in. When I arrived, they even helped upgrade my bed type. The service was excellent overall. I'm very satisfied. I'll book here again if I'm in the area.

Had a fantastic stay at the Wanda Vista Quanzhou with my family this summer! The location is superb, and our river view room offered breathtaking vistas. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient during check-in, and the breakfast buffet was abundant and delicious. The concierge even proactively helped us with our luggage. The attention to detail really made a difference, and my whole family felt incredibly comfortable. Five-star recommendation! We'll definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Quanzhou.

Review Title: Amazing Facilities & Freshly Renovated Rooms I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The facilities are truly impressive—modern, well-maintained, and designed with comfort in mind. The newly renovated rooms are a standout feature: stylish, clean, and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into creating a welcoming environment, and it made my experience here exceptional. Highly recommend for anyone looking for both quality and comfort!

I expected an older hotel to have outdated facilities, but I was pleasantly surprised that this wasn't the case at all. It's a beautiful complex nestled by the mountains and water, perfect for a drive. Getting to Licheng District every day was no problem. The room was spacious with high ceilings, feeling grand and clean. My only complaint is that the lighting in the king-size room was a bit too dim. There were practical tourist guides on the desk, which was a nice touch. The guest rooms are quite spread out, offering excellent privacy. Even though the hotel was fully booked and the parking spaces near the Kaiyuan building were full, I stayed for three days and never ran into another guest. I didn't hear any sounds from neighboring rooms either – a truly amazing experience. The staff were incredibly thoughtful and left a great impression, just like the people of Quanzhou in general.

The room was very spacious and clean. The front desk staff was very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was very rich, especially the grilled steak and pork chop, which were cooked in advance and were very tender and delicious. The hotel is in a great location with easy access to and from Dehui, which is right next to it, and there are many dining and shopping options.

The hotel has been around for a while, so it's a bit old but nothing major. The front desk staff, particularly Xiao Zheng, provided great service and arranged a high-floor room for me. The breakfast on the first floor wasn't particularly outstanding; I hope they can improve it in the future. Also, it would be great if they could upgrade to screen-mirroring TVs for more convenience.
