Compare 5 airports near Sagamihara

For the vast majority of travelers, Haneda Airport (HND) is the most practical entry point, being the only airport offering a balance of short travel times and manageable costs. While not located in the city itself, it is the nearest, serving the neighboring Tokyo area. Narita International Airport (NRT) is a major international hub in Chiba Prefecture; while it handles more long-haul international traffic, it is significantly further from Sagamihara, requiring a longer and more expensive transit. Shizuoka Airport (FSZ), Shinshu-Matsumoto Airport (MMJ), and Ibaraki Airport (IBR) all serve different neighboring regions and are generally less convenient for accessing Sagamihara unless your flight deals are exceptional. Travelers prioritizing budget should opt for rail connections where possible, while those seeking comfort should rely on pre-booked airport taxis. Always check local train schedules and consider purchasing a rechargeable IC card for seamless travel across various regional transport lines.

The accommodation is easy to find, located right on the corner of a four-way intersection with traffic lights. The room size is standard for Japanese hotels, and it's clean. Parking is very close to the hotel, and the breakfast is delicious.

Right at the entrance of Minamihashimoto Station, next to Lawson, and behind the station there are drugstores and daily necessities stores, so the transportation is quite convenient. The room, hygiene, environment, etc. are quite satisfactory, but the box lunch for breakfast is a bit disappointing. If you don't eat in Hachioji, Tachikawa or Hashimoto at night, it is basically impossible to find food near Minamihashimoto Station at night. This is the only problem.

Stayed for many days, changed the room several times, the parent-child room is large, clean, comfortable, convenient to travel, will come again. But don't choose the deluxe double room 1430, the room is very small, the musty smell is very big, the quilt is too humid, this room is very strange, the uncomfortable night is still strange, dare not turn off the light to sleep.

A great find for my New Years stay. Perfect location for both accessing Yokohama and central Tokyo, although the latter does take around 1hr to get to. But also a great place to access the nearby Mt Takao, Mt Jinba and the ridge trail along there. So, if you’re looking for a nice spot with access to the city and hiking opportunities, this will do the trick. Also, I’d like to not how amazing the staff were. Attentive and friendly. Plus, the food they prepared each morning—a part of the accommodation deal—was amazing! I’d highly recommend the Toyoko Inn.

This is considered very cheap for a budget hotel. I've stayed at this chain before and had a pretty good experience. For the same price in downtown Tokyo, you'd only get a capsule hotel or hostel, while this place, though a bit far, is affordable and offers a private room with an ensuite bathroom. My requirements aren't high; I don't expect exceptional service. I only care about three things: 1. Cleanliness. If it's too dirty, no one will want to stay, even at a low price. 2. Excellent location. It's inconvenient to spend half a day walking there every time. 3. Basic amenities and facilities are in place. I think LiveMax is perfectly adequate. I think the cleanliness in most parts of Japan is excellent, so I don't need to worry about it. It's only a couple hundred meters from JR Fuchinobe Station, and you can get to Shinjuku with one transfer in Hachioji, making it very convenient. The surrounding area is also quite lively. There's a yakitori restaurant downstairs; it's not cheap, but the food is good. There are also various convenience stores and restaurants nearby, making it a very suitable place to stay. Having a comfortable place to sleep is enough; expecting more is unrealistic.

The hotel is far from the main station, and there are no restaurants or convenience stores within walking distance. I think the majority of guests arrive by car. However, because of this, there is a restaurant within the hotel with a wide selection of reasonably priced meals. The rooms are clean, there is a large public bath, and the hotel itself is very well-equipped. Personally, I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is in a great location, very close to JR Hashimoto Station, which makes getting around super convenient. Right outside the hotel, you'll find a wide variety of restaurants and convenience stores, plus a Don Quijote nearby, so most of your needs are covered. The hotel also has vending machines and a breakfast area on the first floor. Overall, it's pretty good value for money. Recommended!

Located a five-minute walk from Kita-Senju Station, the hotel pays attention to detail. There is a wide variety of toiletries to choose from, several drinks are provided free of charge, a hearty breakfast that lasts the whole day, the massage chair in the room is very effective in helping you sleep, and the large anti-fog area in the bathroom mirror shows its high-tech content... Although the price is a bit expensive, the room is not that small and you can take a bath. Transportation is convenient, so it is still acceptable.

It was Saturday and I checked in around 9pm, so the 15 parking spaces were full, and I was directed to a nearby multi-storey car park. I walked for 2-3 minutes with my luggage, but it seemed they were affiliated with the hotel, and when I took my parking ticket to the front desk, they operated the parking lot for free 24 hours. They politely said, ”Sorry for the trouble,” and my feelings of regret that the private parking lot was available were quickly put to rest. The room was small, but there was no problem at all for an overnight stay. I stayed in a room on the 11th floor, but the window was a push-out type, so I could only see about one-third of the view, which was a shame, but it can't be helped due to the structure. I took a picture by putting my hand out of the window with my cell phone. The shower was also comfortable to use. Although it was installed in the room, I had to take my favorite amenities from the front desk. Welcome drinks were also available at the front desk. The bed was very comfortable, and although they only had a semi-double plan and check-out was at 12 o'clock, I ended up falling asleep twice and three times, and it was very comfortable. The free breakfast was served from 6:30 to 10:00, and consisted of four kinds of Danish pastries and soft French bread, which was very delicious and all-you-can-eat. There was a soup bar, a drink bar, coffee, tea, corn flakes, milk, jam, and margarine. When I called to confirm before selecting the hotel, I was told that ”it's not really something that can be called breakfast,” but I was very satisfied and impressed, and would like to use it again. Although there was no fruit or salad, I felt the wonderful spirit of hospitality in this era when everything is rising in price, and I was grateful. The staff were also kind and it was a pleasant hotel ⭕️

The hotel check-in time is 12:00-23:00. It is about 300 meters away from Sagamihara Station. There are many supermarkets and restaurants nearby. To check in, you just need to show your voucher to the counter. They will explain in Japanese that when you enter the room, you first press the door lock button, and then swipe your card to enter. When you go out, you press the button first, and then swipe your card to lock it. Check-out time is 10 a.m., and the key is placed at the counter. Boxes and the like were all spoken in Japanese and I couldn’t quite understand them. The room is clean. It has a bathtub, microwave, kettle, clothes hangers, slippers, refrigerator, towels, bath towels, shampoo and shower gel. There is also a can of freshening spray. You can take the supplies on the first floor when you are staying. There is a paid washing machine. There are also vending machines on the 2nd and 1st floors where you can buy alcohol and drinks.

In the morning, they looked after my luggage and said I'd be back around 9am, but it ended up being around 10:30am, and they happily checked me in. The room and the hotel as a whole felt old, but it was clean! I had forgotten about breakfast, so I asked right at the end if it was still okay to eat, and they kindly told me there wasn't much to eat since it was the last minute, but I was happy to eat as much as I could! The location was great, close to the station!

Overall good. It is good to live in such a large room at this price. The service is of course great. However, the room itself is not non-smoking, so it smells like cigarettes. Please be careful if you are concerned.
