For most visitors, Salzburg Airport (SZG) is the only airport located directly in the city, making it the most convenient choice for international and domestic arrivals. While it handles smaller aircraft, its proximity to the center is unmatched. Munich International Airport (MUC) is the primary international gateway for the region. Although it sits in a neighboring city, its extensive long-haul network makes it a common entry point for travelers heading to Salzburg by train or private shuttle. Augsburg Airport (AGB) and Bolzano Airport (BZO) are much farther away, serving their respective local areas in Germany and Italy; they are generally only practical if you have specific travel needs or have found significantly discounted airfares. Linz Airport (LNZ) serves the nearby city of Linz and provides a viable, less congested alternative for those reaching Salzburg via the A1 motorway. Always compare the total travel time, including ground transfers, as a flight to a secondary airport may end up taking longer overall than arriving directly at SZG.

The location is excellent. It's within walking distance, but also easily accessible by public transport during extreme temperatures. The hotel offers spacious rooms and a comprehensive breakfast.

Booked a business twin room for two adults and one child. We made sure to specify the number of guests when booking, and the hotel had already set up an extra single bed for us. The room was quite spacious, and the location couldn't be more perfect! It's just a few dozen meters to the right after exiting the train station. Shops, McDonald's, a supermarket, and a bus stop are all within a minute's walk – super convenient! The room had a kettle, and the air conditioning was comfortable. The only minor drawback was the lack of a mini-fridge in the room. Highly recommend!

Great service and helpful staff. We had a very spacious and quiet room, it has everything we need. The hotel is like old-luxury style located right at the center of the Salzburg old town. It’s very convenient from the airport, and to explore the old town. We really enjoyed the stay.

The hotel staff were warm and polite, and there's a station nearby for easy access to all the attractions. The room was spacious and well-designed, and a simple breakfast was included. It's a shame there's no laundry room, so I had to take my clothes out to wash them.

The receptionist was friendly and the room was clean. However, the front desk told me that if I stayed consecutive nights without housekeeping, I could get a drink voucher. When I tried to redeem it the next day, the bar staff said they were short-staffed and couldn't redeem it. I felt cheated and unhappy.

The only upgrade we got on this trip was to a family room with two separate rooms, which was fantastic and much appreciated. It was very spacious. The breakfast was the best of our entire trip – incredibly varied and far superior to what we had at more expensive hotels in Vienna. It's a convenient 10-minute walk across the river to the Old Town, and the train station is about the same distance.

The hotel is very near the train station; a short bus ride drops off at the stop that is a 2 minute distance from the hotel. Also very convenient to get to the town square and main shopping areas. We were welcomed with a huge smile and greeting by one of the male reception staff, name starts with M although I cannot recollect his full name. He checked us in and even gave a complimentary upgrade since it was my birthday. They also advised us on how we could get to Hallstatt and it was the best way to get there. Rooms were clean, big and the bathrooms had floor heating which made it cosy in the mornings. Wonderful service by him! Was asked if I wanted a cake for my birthday; expected a single slice but came back to an entire cake with a card and flowers. Made me so happy! It was a wonderful experience staying here and I would definitely recommend it for any traveler.

We stayed in a Signature Suite with a balcony that offered a magnificent view. The room was exceptional—beautifully maintained, well-managed, and impeccably clean. However, I believe the concierge service could benefit from better organization. The night before, I placed an in-room breakfast order for the following morning using the tablet provided in the room. Unfortunately, after waiting over 15 minutes the next morning with no food delivered, I contacted the concierge. It appeared that my order had not been properly received. I was told the meal would arrive within 10 minutes, but after another 15-minute wait and several follow-up calls, the breakfast that eventually arrived was not what I had ordered. Regrettably, I had to decline the meal. I hope the service process can be improved to match the otherwise excellent experience.

Facilities: Luxurious decoration, simple and elegant. Stayed in many music masters and celebrities from all walks of life. Convenient location is opposite the birthplace of Mozart. Breakfast is rich and elegant. Parking is to go to the public underground parking lot behind the parking lot, very close, and also gave the parking lot coupon.

The building 700 years ago was very satisfactory. The decoration of the room and corridor was very simple and exquisite, but the bathroom was very modern. Breakfast is very good, the restaurant environment is also very good, very enjoyable, very suitable for tourists.

The highlight of this 600-year-old hotel is the service. The front desk or restaurant service is excellent. Professional service. Many high-end hotels have it. But this one makes people feel particularly sincere. Every word and every sentence they listen to and answer carefully and surpasses expectations. You do a good job, for example, when you see me have a bunch of coins at checkout, I will take the initiative to change the whole amount of money. I consult the trip to Munich and immediately help me find out and print out a list of the specific situation, which company bought the tickets How to get to the station ticket office Breakfast is average, but children are free (my child is 9 and a half years old) If you do not want to eat, there are McDonald's and Starbucks a few steps away, but the environment is always good One of the hotel's restaurants is the local one. It is the first recommendation on the lonely planet, so dinner can be solved at the hotel every day. One big one, two small juices, one soup, two main courses. Tips are not included. The service is great. Up Karajan was a frequent visitor to this restaurant The quilt is very comfortable Next to LV Anyway, I'd definitely choose here again

I have lived in a more satisfactory hotel in a multi-country tour of Europe. It is a mountain road of a small castle. It is very good to park. The hotel has its own small parking lot. After entering the door, the staff welcomed us warmly and let us sit in the bar with free welcome drinks, the hotel is said to have existed in the 14th century and has been renovated and well maintained. There is a nice fountain in front of the gate that feels aristocratic. There should be more than 20 rooms in total, the room is clean and warm, the view outside the small balcony is the entrance garden. There is also a welcome fruit plate and private welcome letter in the room. It is worth mentioning that the restaurant in the hotel is a star Michelin, the food is delicious in many Michelin restaurants, in addition to the dishes there are many appetizers and petit fours desserts. There are also many types of breakfast (the European general breakfast is relatively simple), and you can even order foie gras, caviar, steak, etc. Overall, the service is very warm, you can feel the sincerity and enthusiasm of the service staff, and Christmas in an overseas holiday can be said to be very touched.

I booked for three nights and when I checked in, the hotel staff initially couldn't find our reservation. After some confirmation, we were able to check in smoothly. We were given a room on the second floor, but once inside, we found the mini-fridge was broken. So, I went downstairs and asked the front desk to switch our room. The new room was further inside. The fridge worked, but the air conditioning wasn't very cold. Luckily, it wasn't too hot at night, so it was fine. I'd read reviews mentioning some guests had items stolen, so we didn't leave any valuables in the room and kept our suitcases locked. However, when the towels were replaced daily, I'm not sure if it's because we didn't leave the floor mats on the ground or what, but they were always taken away and not replaced (it's also possible the hotel doesn't provide them). The plastic bottles I intended to return were also taken (but that's quite normal, so it's fine). The area around the hotel does feel a bit desolate, possibly because it's behind a department store and next to a construction site. We could hear hammering from the construction site in the mornings. It's quite close to the train station and bus stops, but for the price we paid, I think it was significantly overpriced. The hotel staff offered us free luggage storage (they mentioned guests normally have to use lockers). In the afternoons, there's iced water and small cookies available on the first floor.

The place is a stone throw away from the central station and very accessible. Also have free transportation for the number of days u stay with them - ask the staff. There are free apples and sparkling water you can retrieve from the lobby. It was a really comfortable stay. It was quiet and peaceful. They had a very secure luggage storage that was great. Loved the wall design that allowed me to hang my clothes and dry them as well.

Convenient location, just beside a petrol station that has a convenient store. Bus stop just beside as well. Cons: rude bartender and dirty towel (only realized there was some brown stains after using it during the night. Lazy to complain and ask for replacement since we are only staying for a night, so subsequently I used the hand towel instead.)
