I stayed at Citizenm Schiphol Hotel during my layover to my trip to Bogota. In general, I had a positive experience. The hotel is Situated right next to the airport. There is no need to take any kind of transportation from the airport at all, just 7minutes walk from arrivals.
The room and common areas were really beautiful and tidy. My room was spacious and it had all the amenities.
Breakfast is included with great options.

We traveled from the hotel to Zaanse Schans (Windmill Village), the Van Gogh Museum, The Hague, and the Cube Houses in Rotterdam. Steigenberger Airport Hotel Amsterdam actually has a whole honeycomb for breakfast! Their breakfast is truly amazing – a honeycomb, grapefruit, freshly made 'jianbing guozi' (a savory Chinese crepe), and the best omelets I've ever had. Definitely lives up to its reputation as a classic German hotel.
Oh, and out of the four pillows, one is lavender-filled. It felt lumpy at first, and I thought it was a buckwheat pillow. I slept wonderfully.
There were many Chinese and German guests, and a lot of flight attendants were also having breakfast there. There's a forest near the hotel, perfect for morning runs.
However, the facilities are a bit old, and the toiletries feel like those in a budget hotel, all 2-in-1.

Well the location is good it you already checked in and had a delayed flight but i dont recommend it a place to stay if you arrived way to early before your flight because it is located inside and you need to go pass the security checks.
