Room 1311 Deluxe King: My husband, our son, and I recently enjoyed a wonderful 3-day, 2-night stay here, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish.
The property is exceptionally family-friendly, and the absolute highlight for my son was the free-entry waterpark! It was also incredibly convenient being located so close to the local attraction sites, making our family outings effortless. Each morning, we were treated to a fantastic breakfast with a very good spread of choices to suit everyone.
We were equally impressed with the room's upkeep. The cleanliness was excellent, and coming back to fresh daily towels and incredibly fluffy pillows made our rest exceptionally comfortable.

1. The hotel management was terrible. First, my booking number could not be found. Thankfully, the Trip.com agent helped to resolve the issue.
2. The service at the reception counter was very poor. The staff did not respect customers.
3. There was absolutely no consideration shown. I arrived at the lobby at 2:55 PM, but I was not allowed to check in. I was asked to wait until exactly 3:00 PM because the room was not ready. It was only 5 minutes early, which was still acceptable to me, so I waited. However, the way the hotel staff responded was extremely rude.

Hotel D'Palma is excellent for its facilities and hospitality. The staff are kind and efficient, and the hotel is close to many shops and a night market. The kids also loved the pool with a slide! However, I do have a small piece of feedback for the hotel management. I apologize for saying this, but the carpet and towels in our room smelled musty. The moment we walked into the room, the carpet smelled like rotten dried fish! It was very pungent! I initially thought it was just my nose, but after asking my husband and kids to check, they also confirmed the strong, musty smell coming from the carpet in the hotel room. It would be best if the hotel takes this issue seriously by improving or replacing the old carpets. I also hope that the staff and hotel will ensure the rooms are fragrant and comfortable for guests. Breakfast soso, even experienced watery diarrhea after the breakfast. Not quite good experience with the breakfast at the hotel. Good location as it’s linked to Setia Alam City Mall. Pros: The location is the biggest highlight. It is extremely close to Setia City Mall, which was exactly what I was looking for and made dining and shopping very convenient.
Cons: The management and check-in process need significant improvement. I sent an email well in advance to request a free early check-in and received zero follow-up. Instead, the day before arrival, I was bombarded with repetitive requests. Despite being fully paid, I was asked to ”confirm” my booking and pressured to send my ID and deposit digitally before arrival. The reason given was that their office closes at 7:00 PM—even though my check-in was at 3:00 PM. They should ask for the guest's arrival time before making demands. Fortunately, a friend who had dealt with them before helped settle the logistics.
Additionally, there was a persistent, loud ”water pipe hitting” sound throughout the day and night, which made it difficult to sleep. Great location, but the service and maintenance could be much better.FromUS$20
