Hotel looks nice, clean and location was good. The stay was just soso. I choosed this hotel as it was near to garment market and also EV charging station was available in hotel but when we arrive we came to know the EV station no any charging machine working. It was out of order and yet there was no any signboard for that which waste our time a lot. As we were trying to use multiple charging machine. And finally we need to go out to charge our car and waited for more then one hour which we can use to have a rest.
Also the AC wasn’t working well but yes they do change room for us so no complain about it .FromUS$39

The environment is super clean and easy to find, with plenty of dining options nearby, including a large shopping mall. The front desk staff are very friendly and service-oriented. Although the hotel is a bit older, everything in the rooms is still in good condition. The toilet is even a smart, sensor-activated one, and there's a computer in the room. Grand Honor Hotel is definitely the best hotel in Shishi, but it’s not quite the same level as a luxury hotel in a bigger city. Generally the hotel is clean, but it’s the little things that I noticed, ie when I checked in, there were some sweet wrappers next to the bowl of sweets that weren’t cleared away. That said, the sense of space is evident in the hotel lobby, lifts, corridors and most importantly, the hotel rooms.
Rooms are very spacious and well-designed, although the closet area can definitely do with brighter lights. Most amenities are provided but what put me off is that many items that would have been free in other hotels at this price-range aren’t free at Grand Honor. There is a Chinese tea set on the table and usually the loose leaf tea is provided for free but it cost ¥15 per packet. Honestly it’s not a lot of money for us, but on the flip side, surely the hotel can provide a bag of tea leaves for their guests. There are the standard free single-use packet tea in the drawer so at least there’s that.
In-room slippers are not to be taken out; they’d charge you if you do - and that’s fine, but the slippers are actually really uncomfortable to wear.
The small plate of fruits (banana, plum and mandarin) given at 5pm every day is a nice touch.
The hotel breakfast is probably the highlight. Set on the 22nd floor with panoramic views of the city, breakfast is very enjoyable. The food quality is pretty good, but a real surprise here is the sheer diversity of food. The bread selection alone has 5-6 choices (pastries, brioche, baguette, square toast, etc), the cooked food section is almost endless (and there’s cooked Chinese vegetables! 👏🏾) and then there’s the fruit selection at the end too. My only gripe is that the coffee machine is a bit slow, and there’s only one machine so there can be a wait for coffee.
Location of the hotel is a little odd; good restaurants and the main mall is about 15 mins’ walk away. There aren’t many good shops to wander around nearby.
Generally, this is a solid hotel for this price point. Excellent service with very fast food delivery (using the ubiquitous delivery robots) and friendly front desk staff.FromUS$59

Location: The hotel is located in the center of Shishi, a five-minute walk from the city government. Close to commercial centers such as Dehui Plaza, there are many gourmet restaurants around, which is great.
Facilities: The hotel is newly renovated in 2025, the room is very new, the configuration of the double standard room is very good, the bed is 1.35 meters wide, the mattress is moderately soft and hard, and it is very comfortable to sleep. The TV is Xiaomi's, equipped with an engineering chair, sitting back pain.
Hygienic: The room was cleaned very clean and there was no smell. The shower room is equipped with a shower shower, and the hygiene level is high.

I made sure to try their F&B during my stay.
The room was incredibly spacious, and I heard a lot of thought went into the design. This is my fourth time staying here. Breakfast was also great; while the selection wasn't huge, the quality was excellent.
The only minor issues were that the breakfast staff's service attitude and attentiveness could use some improvement. Also, the hotel is undergoing renovations, which I wasn't informed about beforehand, and the work started early in the morning. These two points weren't handled very well.FromUS$64

A hotel that looks luxurious on the outside but is a disaster on the inside.
I can't believe none of the reviews mention the noise issue! Right next door to the hotel is a nightclub owned by the hotel itself, and it was ridiculously loud until 2 AM. Then at 8 AM, there were loud loudspeakers from the street. The soundproofing is absolutely terrible!!!
The breakfast was awful, with very limited choices and just plain bad. I even ordered some paid items, and they weren't good either. A total waste of money!FromUS$37

After checking out from Quanzhou, we checked into this hotel in Shishi. The price was great, and the room was a spacious 80+ square meters. We booked a family suite, which was perfect for taking care of our elders while still having our own space. The room was almost like a one-bedroom apartment with a living room and two bathrooms. The living room had a separate toilet (no shower) and a large bed with a sofa set. The master bedroom's bathroom had a shower, so having two bathrooms was really convenient. The only downside was the air conditioning; the old dial looked concerning, and sure enough, it barely cooled the room after running for a while. We called the hotel and requested two electric fans, and the staff responded very quickly. They even brought us a complimentary white fungus soup in the evening, which our elders really enjoyed.
Speaking of service: when I was checking in, I happened to see the staff at the next counter practicing guest check-in and check-out procedures, which was quite interesting. It showed they put a lot of effort into training, and the atmosphere among the employees was also very good – thumbs up.
Overall, the service was excellent, but the hotel's overall facilities are a bit old and a significant drawback. However, the price was reasonable, offering good value for money. Oh, and they also had afternoon tea in the lobby (mainly some fruits, soda, instant noodles, and pre-packaged pastries, good enough to tide you over). The automatic coffee machine was quite basic, only offering Americanos. It would have been great to have lattes.
Here are some areas for improvement: 1. The air conditioning is old, and the cooling effect isn't great. The AC in the living room seemed to cool better than the bedroom; it felt cooler in the living room when we returned at night. The floor fan they provided was noisy; I'd suggest gradually replacing them with quieter models. It's either hot or noisy, which is especially noticeable at night. 2. The shower room always had a faint smell of urine, and the ceramic toilet seat was heavy and didn't close slowly, so it would bang down if you weren't careful. 3. Rooms facing the road were noisy. Starting at around 2 AM, we heard vehicles passing by and honking – oh my goodness! At 2:40 AM, I was even woken up by a car alarm downstairs, which went off intermittently four times, each lasting about 10 seconds, completely waking me up. Breakfast was just average. I had originally booked for two days but left after one night because it was too stuffy. The early check-out process was handled very smoothly, so I was still very satisfied with the service.FromUS$29
