When choosing an arrival point for Southbank, travelers should note that none of the airports listed are within Southbank itself. A standard Langham pink, this hotel is super girly! We arrived early for check-in and were able to use the 9th-floor spa center to freshen up. Our room overlooked the Yarra River, and the view from the window was incredibly soothing. The 9th-floor pool is also a sight to behold; even though it was winter when we visited, the pool was wonderfully warm and heated at night. Downstairs, there's a whole street of restaurants and bars in Southbank, making dining and drinks very convenient. There's a place called Waterfront that I think is highly rated nearby, and I tried it out – it was pretty good. The toiletries are Diptyque, and the hotel bedding is incredibly comfortable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.FromUS$213

This hotel offers incredible value for money. For this price, including breakfast, it's really competitive in Melbourne's Southbank. The rooms aren't huge, but the double-double room can accommodate up to four people, making the per-person cost super budget-friendly – the breakfast alone is worth 400 yuan! It's a short taxi ride to Albert Park and South Melbourne Market, and just a 7-minute walk to the downtown train station. We walked to Collins Street for meals every day and used the free trams to get around, which was incredibly convenient.FromUS$90

It’s a hidden gem, close to quite a few tram stops, with the big woolies and Asian grocery store downstairs plus a delicious restaurant serving so quickly, what else can except? I am so happy with the staying.
It’s safe and quiet with broad views, we love it 😍FromUS$96

The hotel's location is great, with nice views, and it's quite convenient to get everywhere. The aquarium is just across the bridge downstairs, which is very handy if you're with kids. The room cleaning was very thorough, and the front desk staff were quite friendly. For breakfast, the fruit selection was particularly generous, and everything else was standard but adequate. My only minor gripe is the breakfast timing: weekdays are 7-9:30 AM. It would be more reasonable if it were 6-10 AM, as many hotels I've stayed at even offer breakfast until 11 AM. 9:30 AM feels a bit early to finish. Also, it offers good value for money; the rooms are spacious, and for the price, it's pretty decent.FromUS$236

I'm writing this review in English so the staffs can understand what I wanna say. First of all I wanna thank the male staff on duty everyday over the entire stay of mine and the two girls on their shifts when I checked in. You guys are fantastic, very helpful, friendly and highly efficient. My apologies for not remembering your name, but I do wanna give you my heartfelt thanks. However, there was this female staff, seems to be latino or something, on duty when I came back to the property to get my luggages in the afternoon of Feb.22 aat 3:45pm. (I'm sure you can find out who was it because there were only two staffs at the front desk at that time). She was INSANELY LAZY AND RUDE. I asked for my luggages and she took my tags but said to me, rolling her eyes, ”I think the door to the luggage room is open.” She was very hospitable when dealing with the other guests, who were white, before me. I insisted she needs to go get the bags for me, and she said I'll have to wait. I waited, but apparently she didn't have anything legit to do. She was randomly checking her computer to keep me waiting. I guess what I'm trying to say is pls fire this ****** staff. 但国内同胞可以放心住酒店本身很好,其他员工也很好FromUS$115

The customer service was amazing, no hassle at all, and they even upgraded me from a studio suite to a higher ranking one which was super nice of them, but the amenities were not so good…the carpet was dirty both in the hallway, and inside the room, tiles in the bathroom haven’t probably been scrubbed for a few years, toilet was wiggly, but I guess for that price and location it’s alrightFromUS$111

We booked a King Standard hotel for this trip as we have the special rate from Trip.com. Before we arrived we received an email from Trip urging us to write an email to ask for early check in as we also booked an airline ticket thru Trip. When arrived in hotel ard 9.45 am we were offered a room ( with immediate availability ) but with a payment of AUD 50. When I asked for a twin bed room as usually King and Twin Bed will have same rate, but not this hotel. If we were to change the bed style we have to pay AUD 30/night for 5 nights 😅😅another AUD 150. Enough for all the morning communications so we just ignore the bed details and went straight to our room after the payment. On the day we checked out we came to know that the front officer recharged our hotel fee even when Trip.com confirmed that everything was fully paid.
What a money maker hotel!! Front officer told us they will refund us the amount though.
However the room is small and nice and everything was up to international 4 standard but Crown Casino Tower has a much more beautiful and bigger room. Though both have stunning nice view of the Yarra River as in attached.FromUS$150

Not far from DFO and South Australia. If you check out early, you can relax on the 7th floor of the reception building before heading to the airport. Even though I booked a room with breakfast, I didn't eat any of it because my colleague said it wasn't good. However, the front desk lady provided excellent service.FromUS$112

I recently stayed in a 1-bedroom apartment and was generally satisfied with my experience. Upon entering the room, I noticed the bedroom fan was already running, which seemed unusual given it was winter. After checking the air conditioning, I discovered the control panel wasn't working.
I contacted reception, and a technician was promptly sent to inspect the issue. The technician confirmed that the air conditioning was not operational. Customer service handled the situation well by personally escorting me to a different apartment, which turned out to be a spacious 2-bedroom unit. This was a thoughtful gesture and was greatly appreciated as an apology for the inconvenience.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay and was pleased with how the staff resolved the issue. However, the situation could have been avoided if the room had been properly checked before being assigned to a guest. Ensuring that essential appliances are functioning prior to check-in would help prevent similar inconveniences in the future.
Despite this oversight, I appreciated the prompt response and excellent customer service provided by the team.FromUS$114

Service was fabulous. Leslie was absolutely wonderful to deal with, a joy. The apartment was a great layout with everything you need for a short stay. Although the hotel room was starting to look tired and there was an overwhelming odour in rooms & hallways of curry, everything was neat and tidy. Thank you for our stay.FromUS$99
