This was a very pleasant stay, it's a well maintained guest house with large spacious rooms. The staff were helpful and sold water by the reception. It is located well in the town with plenty of access to cafes and restaurants. The pool is situated a short walk from the guest house which is a very lovely space to hang out and cool off. The bathroom functioned well with a good shower, however there was some mould on the ceiling. The room had yellow curtains which did allow for a fair amount of light through in the morning which some may find disturbing. I would definitely recommend staying here!FromUS$9

Had a great experience with this hostel! I stayed in a single room and loved it and wanted to spend my last 2 nights in the single as well. Unfortunately, it was already booked. However, someone at the front desk was able to get me the same room because someone had canceled! What luck! I'm so glad he was able to help me out. My only issue was that there was no onsite laundry and I had to walk around the corner to another hostel. Not super inconvenient, but at least there was somewhere I could wash my clothes. Very very nice room. It has everything like fridge, kettle, fan and ac. It also has a balcony with a cooking area and centrally located. It was lovely to have a driver at the bus station standing with a sign with my name on it. He carried my bags up the steps to my room and during my stay he did me a tour of the countryside which was very good.
I paid extra for the upgraded upstairs room and I think it was worth it , though I didn’t see the rooms downstairs.
I think it is cheaper to pay online. However, the guesthouse allows you to pay by card.FromUS$13

Seng Hout Hotel has expanded considerably and now has 2 buildings. Safety is slightly compromised as there is now an outdoor walkway along the windows of many rooms, with some of these windows unable to fully close/ lock - though there was no actual safety incident during our stay. Amenities and cleanliness are minimal but functional. Staff struggle somewhat with simple requests such as top up of toilet paper or additional blankets (the blanket is smaller than the bed so can be challenging to share in double beds - but additional is not available). Nonetheless, functional and comfortable stay for the price.FromUS$13

The hotel is located right next to several bus transfer stations. It is very convenient to travel to and from other parts of Cambodia. The hotel is cheap but the relative facilities and facilities are not very demanding. There are very few residents in Battambang at night, so the location of the hotel is a bit remote when walking.
