This resort is very outdated. Needs a major upgrade. It has old resort smell and the bathroom of the room we had stayed we’re not clean and needed repairs done.
The spa was okay and it was weird to have residential building nearby to look over the spa swimming pool. The facility looks old and empty. There are residential buildings around but no restaurants nor eatery nearby, only one 7-11. Guests have the option of using either the indoor or outdoor hot springs, and you can even enjoy them in your own room, as the water source is the same. This guesthouse is so convenient! It's located right in the city center, yet surprisingly quiet, making for a comfortable night's sleep. Craving local food? No need to take public transport; many famous restaurants are within walking distance. Just one street ahead is Rongshuxia Rice Noodles, and to the left of the guesthouse are Lao Dongtai and Ahong Fried Chicken. The guesthouse also provides bicycles; riding to the seaside park behind the guesthouse for a stroll and enjoying the sea breeze is incredibly pleasant. We stayed in a tatami room. The small table was covered in dust and dirt, suggesting poor cleaning. The air conditioning was quite cold. There were sika deer in the park, but there was no odor. The deer were friendly and healthy, and the children loved them. The breakfast was bland and unappetizing, with the only good thing being the freshly brewed coffee. There were adorable cats outside the hotel, and we even encountered guests bringing their adorable giant poodles. This pet-friendly establishment is a real plus, and we really appreciate it.

From August 12-15, I was here for both hot air balloon flight and paragliding. First time in Taitung and the hot air balloon company recommended to get accommodation at Luye township instead of Taitung city. If you plan to hire chartered ride, stay in Taitung city.
The resort offers breakfast (if you opt-in); and dinner at their restaurant that only serves steamboat. The restaurant doesn't serve lunch. Yup, you heard it right, NO lunch and this property is a resort.
Staff are courteous. Unfortunately, my feedback about my room kettle emitting odor after boiled was not attended.

The location is perfect. On a few days a week there is a big night market next to the hotel entrance. They have bicycles available to go around.
